00:07southern Appalachians to the east coast. So get ready for damaging wind, flash flooding,
00:10hail and can't roll out a few isolated tornadoes too. The greatest ridge stretches from Baltimore
00:15through Washington DC down to Richmond and Roanoke but strong storms could reach from
00:19Charlotte, North Carolina to Knoxville, Tennessee, Philadelphia and New York City.
00:23Then Tuesday night into Wednesday heavy rain shifts further to the north. Flash flooding
00:27is possible from upstate New York into parts of New England, including Boston and Bangor, Maine.
00:31But the greatest flood risk stretches from Syracuse and Scranton down towards New York City.
00:36So if you have travel plans anywhere in the northeast over the next couple of days,
