00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for us, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:15The book of Proverbs, chapter 30.
04:20These are the words of Agur, the son of Jaka from Massa.
04:26The man says, I am full of weariness, O God, I am full of weariness.
04:31O God, I have come to an end.
04:35For I am more like a beast than any man.
04:38I have no power of reasoning like a man.
04:42I have not got wisdom by teaching, so that I might have knowledge of the Holy One.
04:49Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
04:52Who has taken the wind in his hands, prisoning the waters in his robe?
04:59By whom have all the ends of the earth been fixed?
05:02What is his name, and what is his son's name?
05:05If you are able to say.
05:09Every word of God is tested.
05:12He is a breastplate to those who put their faith in him.
05:17Make no addition to his words, or he will make clear your error, and you will be seen to be
05:24false.
05:26I have made requests to you for two things.
05:29Do not keep them from me, before my death.
05:33Put far from me all false and foolish things.
05:37Do not give me great wealth, or let me be in need.
05:41But give me only enough.
05:45For fear that if I am full, I may be false to you, and say,
05:50Who is the Lord?
05:52Or if I am poor, I may become a thief, using the name of my God wrongly.
06:01Do not say evil of a servant to his master, or he will put a curse on you, and you
06:07will get into trouble.
06:09There is a generation who put a curse on their father, and do not give a blessing to their mother.
06:17There is a generation who seem to themselves to be free from sin, but are not washed from their unclean
06:25ways.
06:28There is a generation, oh, how full of pride are their eyes, how their brows are lifted up.
06:37There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, their strong teeth like knives,
06:43for the destruction of the poor from the earth, and of those who are in need from among men.
06:55There are three things which are never full, even four which never say enough.
07:05The underworld, and the woman without a child.
07:10The earth which never has enough water, and the fire which never says enough.
07:19The eye which makes sport of her father, and sees no value in a mother when she is old,
07:25will be rooted out by the ravens of the valley, and be food for the young eagles.
07:34There are three things, the wonder of which overcomes me, even four things outside my knowledge.
07:43The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a
07:49ship in the heart of a sea,
07:51and the way of a man with a girl.
07:57This is the way of a pulse wife.
08:00She takes food, and cleaning her mouth says, I have done no wrong.
08:07For three things the earth is moved, and there are four which it will not put up with.
08:12A servant when he becomes king, a man without sense when his wealth is increased,
08:20a hated woman when she is married, and a servant girl who takes the place of her master's wife.
08:30There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are very wise.
08:35The ants are a people not strong, but they put by a store of food in the summer.
08:42The conies are only a feeble people, but they make their houses in the rocks.
08:49The locusts have no king, but they go out in bands.
08:57You may take the lizard in your hands, but it is in the king's houses.
09:05There are three things whose steps are good to see, even four whose goings are fair.
09:13The lion which is the strongest among the beasts, not turning from his way for any.
09:20The war horse, the he-goat, and the king when his army is with him.
09:28If you have done foolishly in lifting yourself up, or if you have had evil designs, put your hand over
09:35your mouth.
09:37The shaking of milk makes butter, and the twisting of the nose makes blood come.
09:44So the forcing of rot is a cause of fighting.
09:49This is the word of the Lord.
09:52Thanks be to God.
09:59I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, with thy own heart.
10:06I will speak, O Lord, thy power, the large works.
10:13I will be glad and rejoice in thee.
10:17May my song, till I lay no longer strides.
10:27For my letter beats are driven back.
10:32They shall bold and fair be true thy presence.

23:28The Epistle to the Romans, Chapter 2
23:33As for you who have the name of Jew, and are resting on the law, and take pride in God,
23:39having knowledge of his desires, and are a judge of the things which are different,
23:45having the learning of the law in the belief that you are a guide to the blind,
23:50a light to those in the dark, a teacher of the foolish, having in the law the form of knowledge
23:57and of what is true.
24:00You who give teaching to others, do you give it to yourself?
24:06You who say that a man may not take what is not his, do you take what is not yours?
24:14You who say that a man may not be untrue to his wife, are you true to yours?
24:22You who are a hater of images, do you do wrong to the house of God?
24:29You who take pride in the law, are you doing wrong to the honour of God by behaviour which is
24:36against the law?
24:39For the name of God is shamed among the Gentiles because of you, as it is said in the Holy
24:45Writings.
24:47It is true that circumcision is of use if you keep the law, but if you go against the law
24:54it is as if you had it not.
24:58If those who have not circumcision keep the rules of the law, will it not be credited to them as
25:06circumcision?
25:09They, by the keeping of the law without circumcision, will be the judges of you, by whom the law is
25:16broken, even though you have the letter of the law and the circumcision.
25:22The true Jew is not one who is so publicly, and circumcision is not that which may be seen in
25:30the flesh.
25:32But the true Jew is one who is a secret one, whose circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit
25:41and not in the letter, whose praise comes not from men, but from God.
25:49This is the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
25:58Collect for peace.
26:01O God, who is the author of peace and lover of concord, in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
26:09whose service is perfect freedom.
26:12Defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies, that we, surely trusting in your defence, may not
26:22fear the power of any adversaries.
26:25Through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
26:33Collect for our safe preservation.
26:36O Lord, our heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day.
26:45Defend us in the same with your mighty power, and grant that this day we fall into no sin, neither
26:52run into any kind of danger.
26:55But that all our doings may be ordered by your governance to do always that which is righteous in your
27:04sight.
27:05Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
27:12Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me, and let me devote myself completely to your
27:21sacred will.
27:23Direct me and help me each hour of this day.
27:27Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
27:32When unpredictable circumstances arise, do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
27:41Lord Jesus, Son of God, it is better not to live than to live without you.
27:47I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day, and for all the good deeds you will help
27:53me do today.
27:57Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day to my Lord and Saviour.
28:03Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister.
28:07Never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
28:11Control my will and teach me to pray, to believe, to hope, to suffer, to forgive and to love.
28:22Amen.
28:26We pray for the work of your faithful servants throughout the world, Lord.
28:32Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
28:39May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be
28:46with us all today and for evermore.
28:51Amen.
28:52Amen.
28:53Amen.
28:55Amen.
28:59Amen.
28:59Amen.
28:59You
