00:04why Wags and Wax decided to rescue her. The moment that the Wags team took Jenny
00:09out of her kennel, they noticed an instant change in her demeanor. She
00:12happily walked around greeting everyone she met and little glimpses of her goofy
00:16personality started to shine through. While overweight dogs are unfortunately
00:22not uncommon, Jenny's case was especially severe.
00:28One of my favorite moments is these dreamy hard eyes that Jenny had the
00:33moment she meets her foster dad. In foster, Jenny's parents helped her heal both
00:39emotionally and physically. They worked closely with the medical team to come
00:44up with a plan that included a carefully proportioned diet, daily exercise, and
00:49medication for her underactive thyroid, but her transformation goes way past what
01:01the scale was showing and as Jenny grew stronger her confidence also grew.
01:09Somewhere along the way, what started off as a temporary foster became something much
01:14bigger. Because as Jenny's parents watched her get her life back, they also
01:19started to fall in love with her. Today, Jenny has lost over 25 pounds and has
01:23blossomed into the happy, healthy Doberman she was always meant to be. And
01:27thankfully, she will never have to wonder where home is again.
