00:00The puppies were so cold and it was so hard to warm them up that mama was just snuggling them
00:06so tight. And you can tell that she was trying to get them warm.
00:11We don't know how long she had been there and animal control had picked her up and taken her
00:15to the shelter. Nobody thought she was going to make it because she was severely emaciated.
00:21She wasn't nursing. She had an emergency surgery.
00:29We took four of the puppies and then I stand with my pack, who's another rescue that we
00:34work really closely with. They took three.
00:37I know you're worried. I know you're worried. She's doing better. She's doing better, I promise.
00:43The first few days were very touch and go. The puppies were in a very fragile state.
00:48Two of them were having a really hard time latching and unfortunately those two did not make it.
00:53I felt guilty, like I had failed her, but that obviously wasn't the case.
00:58My ultimate goal was genuinely to comfort her because she was hurting.
01:04She was just so loving with me and so attached to me.
01:12She started to open up and show her personality.
01:19We really wanted to do something for her to kind of really push her over that hump and I felt
01:25like
01:25reuniting her with her babies would be the perfect thing and it was. It was a beautiful reunion.
01:32It was really good for her to reunite with them.
01:35I was just really happy to see her happy.
01:41All the puppies have officially been adopted.
01:44They're all in wonderful homes.
01:47So now Mercy is available for adoption.
01:51She's very mellow.
01:52She's very at peace.
01:55She's just a happy, loving dog.
02:05I'm going to wrap her up.
02:06I have no idea.
02:07I should have left my child right away.
02:09She needs taking my kids
