00:07One day, I logged in online and saw a clip of Sonny. He looked very, very broken, very beaten, and
00:14Happy Doggo took him in.
00:18The emotional trauma had taken its toll on Sonny, but now that he was in the right, loving hands with
00:24Happy Doggo, his recovery could finally begin.
00:27His fur came back through and he gained some weight, but personality-wise, I think he was always just very
00:34gentle and sweet from the moment that they took him in.
00:37There was just this clip of him sat on the sofa, and he just looked so much like Sina in
00:42the eyes.
00:48Sonny didn't just randomly fall into Beth's lap. Their story almost felt meant to be.
00:53This is Sina, Beth's sole dog who unfortunately passed away.

01:02We fell in love with Sina, and so did many of you when we shared her unbelievable transformation story on
01:08the dodo.
01:08When Beth came across a video of Sonny, he reminded her so much of Sina that she couldn't shake the
01:14feeling that they were just meant to meet.
01:16We had no intention of getting another dog so soon.
01:19When I saw that clip and felt kind of like I was looking at her, it just really felt like
01:24he was meant to come to us.
01:27Honestly, as soon as we got him home, it was like he'd always been here.
01:32He settled himself straight in.
01:38One of my favorite things with Sonny is when he's sleeping and he's twitching in his sleep, because that's just
01:44pure level of comfort and safety.

01:53It's okay, we don't want you to cry.
01:56I obviously felt like I didn't have enough time with Sina, and I still had so much love to, like,
02:02give to her.
02:04So now being able to channel that into Sonny, who's also just as deserving as Sina was, that's kind of
02:11just given me a new purpose.
