00:00Junior and Bandit were roaming the streets, narrowly avoiding being hit by a car again and
00:05again until someone finally stepped in to rescue them. And once they were safe, it became clear
00:10just how much they had already survived. Bandit was in the worst condition. He was literally skin
00:14and bones with almost no fur left, and even the sun touching his skin could cause pain. Junior had
00:20a little more fur, but was still incredibly skinny. And both boys had nails that had grown painfully
00:25long. Bandit was found. Look at his nails. Oh my gosh, they're so long. Bandit is getting
00:32a little pedicure today. Bandit was actually pretty quick to accept affection, but Junior needed some
00:39more time to let people in. Their recovery took a lot of patience and care, but the more comfortable
00:45the boys became, the more that everyone started to meet these dogs that were hiding underneath
00:49everything that they had been through. Bandit turned out to be incredibly smart, affectionate,
00:54and eager to learn. And Junior became this goofy, huge cuddle bug that seemed to always have his
01:01tongue out and was just always so happy. There's this really sweet video of Junior just hopping
01:05around with one of the staff members. And I feel like you can just really see how far he came
01:13from
01:13day one. Junior has since been adopted, and Bandit, who doesn't even look like the same dog anymore,
01:19is still waiting for his forever home. It's pretty incredible to think that these two
01:24are the same dogs who were once running through traffic simply trying to survive. And after
01:30everything Bandit has overcome, hopefully the next big chapter in his life is finally finding
01:36his family.
