00:00See people? This is why we need to cut through plastic rings before throwing them away.
00:04A beautiful Canadian goose was spotted with a six-pack ring caught around her neck.
00:09The person who saw her immediately called wildlife rescuer Nancy Pryor.
00:14But by the time Nancy arrived, the goose was gone. Nancy kept searching until...
00:20Across town, she looked down into a stream and there she was. Like, is this woman a bird whisperer?
00:26How else is this possible? She knew she had to be strategic.
00:31And then finally, she secured the goose.
00:38All right, my love. Let's get this off. I know. It's not fun having this on you.
00:47The next step was making sure the goose didn't escape while she was carefully removing the plastic.
00:52I know these geese can square up. I would have been panicking under the pressure.
00:56But thank goodness, she didn't.
00:59Yay!
00:59Pussy!
01:00Okay. All right. So, wing looks good.
01:04Yep!
01:04Okay. Other wing.
01:07Yep, looks good.
01:08High. And your head.
01:09Neck. Looks good.
01:12All right.
01:12All right.
01:13And then, of course, sent her back to the wild to live the good goose life.
01:16And look at those little happy feet flapping. She is so ready for this adventure to be over.
01:21But okay, everyone. Needless to say, consider this your official Dodo PSA to please cut through
01:28every loop before throwing your plastic rings away. The Canadian geese will thank you.
