00:16So I've been chasing a new look for a long time.

00:23Some celebrities that inspired me to go Strawberry Blonde
00:26are Julian Hough, Gigi Hadid, of course.
00:29I think this will give me the confidence to take the leap
00:31in finding new passions, maybe a new job, some new hobbies.

01:10So what are you looking to have done today?
01:12Yeah, so I think I want to go Strawberry Blonde,
01:14maybe some red tones, add some dimension.

01:18Now, because you said you're low maintenance,
01:20I'm going to have your color just grow transitionally into your hair.
01:24So, let's get started. Let's put this robe on you and get it going.
01:27Yay!
01:30We're starting from scratch.
01:32So, I have to create her base first of the Strawberry Blonde.
01:36So, I'm going to go in and put a gloss,
01:39demi-permanent gloss all over her.
01:48I'm keeping the top a little deeper
01:51and the bottom a shade and a half lighter.
02:00That's going to create reflectiveness with the color
02:03and have it look more natural.
02:13And that's going to sit for 20 minutes.
02:27Now that we've finished the overall base of the color,
02:30I'm going to go in and highlight.
02:40This is crucial because it's going to create the dimensional effect.
02:45Not doing so will leave the color flat.
02:51So, with any and all my colors that I do on my clients,
02:54I always am sure to put a quarter of Olaplex in the color.
02:58This ensures that there is minimal damage.
03:06So, now my assistant Megan will rinse out the highlights
03:09and prepare us for the last and final step.
03:25We're putting a warm golden copper gloss all over EMI for about five minutes.
03:36This will bring the color together and create the final finish and seal in the color.
03:44We are now pitting EMI underneath the rotating heat lamp.
03:48What this does is ensure that the color stays.
03:54So, I'm going to roll the dice and ask EMI if she trusts me to do her eyebrows.
03:58This is a crucial step as it'll bring the color together.
04:08After the color, my assistant Megan and I will now blow-dry and finish EMI.
