00:24I've never had purple hair before that's true purple.
00:28I've had pink, I've had turquoise,
00:31some weird little white strip on the side of my head
00:34during the early 2000s.
00:37I really like the idea of having violet hair on myself
00:41because it really complements a lot of the existing tattoos
00:44I have on my body,
00:46and it won't necessarily clash so much
00:49with what I already have going on.
00:51I'm ready for it to be fun again.

01:08So you mentioned purples, lavenders.
01:11I kind of like that.
01:12I like something along those tones.
01:14What I would love to do that would be a little bit different,
01:18a little bit interesting,
01:19is I think put a little bit of a shadow color in there,
01:21like a nice, jewel-y, kind of purple tone, like you mentioned.
01:25And then we can start to pull through different layers of lavenders,
01:29kind of a softer, kind of lilac pink color,
01:31something that still looks really fun, cool, and kind of current.
01:34I'm excited. Let's do it.
01:36All right, let's do it.
01:39So to begin this process, we want to lighten up the hair.
01:43Typically, I do this in the mids and the ends first.
01:50All right, step one complete.
01:52Once we get lighter, we'll go on to step two.
01:54I'm nervous because it has taken a long time
01:57to get my hair back to this healthy condition.
02:03Once I get the mids and the ends pretty light,
02:05I like to take all of the new growth and lighten that up.
02:10All right, now we wait.
02:12Yay!
02:27All right, so now it's time to glow dry.
02:29So we're going to get it all nice and dry,
02:30and then we'll apply that fun color.
02:32All right?
02:33Yes!

02:43It's time to put a little purple on.
02:46Yes, let's do it.
02:49So we're going to go ahead and put on
02:51that darkest, richest color first.
02:53Apply that to all of the new growth.
02:59Then I'm going to layer on different colors of lavender,
03:01lilacs, and a little bit of pinks.
03:03Then I'm going to layer on top and put them in there,
03:16and then I'm going to layer on the top.
03:16Oh, get on the top.
03:20Then I'm going to layer on top and wear a little服.
03:20It's strong.
