00:05we are exactly one week away into the Giants report to Sulphur Spring West Virginia for
00:12trading camp ladies and gentlemen I can smell the morning dew on the grass so since Giants
00:18football is back in today's blue rush we're going to be talking about the guys on offense
00:22who needs to have a breakout year Paul Schwartz our Giants beat writer for the post is on
00:29going into training camp number what for you Paul 33 I believe my first one was 94 in Fairleigh Dickinson
00:42University in Madison New Jersey Dan Reeves was in his second year as the head coach and I remember
00:49it being incredibly hot the the field was like down like a little ravine like a little hill
00:54and it was really hot that's what I remember I'm hoping um we're going to gain about 2,000
01:01feet of altitude right going to White Sulphur Springs so um you know I looked it up the other day
01:07I think
01:08that the um the Meadowlands is like seven what is it 17 feet or something above sea level or something
01:16and uh White Sulphur Springs is like 18 1880 almost 2,000 feet above sea level so um let's breathe
01:26in
01:26that nice crisp air and uh get uh some cooler temperatures and go at it in White Sulphur Springs
01:32which reminds me of Radiator Springs from the movie Cars you like radiation you like cars cars like the
01:38movie cars I got a three-year-old I love cars uh what's the red radiator springs there we go
01:43that's what it
01:44sounds like there we go and it's like you're talking about the altitude it's like going playing
01:47a a world cup match at MetLife to Estadio Azteca Estadio Estadio Estadio down in uh in Mexico but
01:55I'm an Albany guy I'm an 07 Albany I remember I drove my red uh my red truck Clifford the
02:03big red
02:03truck I called it was an avalanche I drove from Massachusetts I took it was an 80 or 90 90
02:09all the
02:09way across to Albany 90 went all the way across my brother actually uh drove out there with me
02:15dropped me off and stuff so I remember that but there are a lot of guys obviously going into this
02:20training camp and need to have one big training camps two big seasons and we're going to talk
02:26about those guys today on the offensive side of the football we've both got three and we kind of
02:34differ on opinions on one of them so we're going to go four today we're just going to go back
02:39and
02:39forth when it comes to it we're going to start with obviously a guy who's who's made the the news
02:44rounds again Paul but I would say depending on who you ask for the wrong reasons Cam Scadaboo
02:51with the backflip at Fanatics Fest didn't land it they didn't I didn't see any Dominic Dawes in him
02:58with the landing uh didn't stick the landing and then a lot of people are saying like all right this
03:03kid
03:03is already doing too much going into a full season I'm going to start with you Cam Scadaboo
03:11in order for him to be looked at as a true threat in the backfield a real NFL threat running
03:20or running
03:20back how big of a year does Cam Scadaboo need to have well he needs to have a a not
03:27a Derrick Henry
03:28big year but he needs to have he probably needs to lead this team in in um rushing even though
03:34Tyrone Tracy is certainly capable of doing that as well um here's this whole um you know backflip
03:40gate uh thing or whatever it was right at Fanatics Fest he said he he that the ground was too
03:45bouncy
03:46right so he didn't stick it and and everyone went when he didn't stick it and he kind of fell
03:51backwards everyone was like oh my god the ankle right the ankle yeah it's not the ankle he said I'm
03:56not
03:56going to do anything to hurt myself um before we talk about him on the field I mean off the
04:01field
04:01here is my level of interest and caring about what Cam Scadaboo did at Fanatics Fest
04:10slim to none almost nothing and I don't think the Giants care about it either I don't think
04:15they care about it you know what I mean I I it's the off season and these are young guys
04:21and I think
04:22if if John Harbaugh and Joe Shane got together and said here's what we want for our players in the
04:28off season here's the perfect plan it would not include backflips it would not include strange
04:34social media posts it would not include some of the things that these guys do and you know what
04:39they could say the same thing about 23 year old sons or nephews or cousins young people do things
04:47that older people sometimes go really do you really have to do that I don't think it's a big deal
04:52I
04:52really don't I don't think Cam Scadaboo was doing anything to harm himself it's the off season and
04:58things you know I'm sure 20 30 years ago guys were doing things way crazier than that but they weren't
05:03going viral in video so that's my take on Cam Scadaboo and the backflip you know I'm not going
05:09to be this old grouchy guy that says he could have hurt himself that's a disaster he should be he
05:15should
05:15be studying and have his feet up and be rehabbing he's fine he practiced at the end of the OTAs
05:20I think
05:20he's going to hit the ground running in training camp I think he'll be smart with him now as a
05:24running back moving forward that's the topic of of a lot of this show right um you know he averaged
05:324.1 yards per carry as a rookie right I think when you look inside the numbers they were not
05:37this
05:37this devastatingly effective running back that people kind of took out of his rookie year because
05:43they loved the thought of Cam Scadaboo in the you know eight games he played until he got hurt
05:49he played six in six games that he played he had 10 or more rushing attempts okay his average per
05:55rushing attempt in those six games was 4.1 6.0 3.2 3.9 5.2 and 3.8
06:04and right nothing special he had
06:07five rushing touchdowns three came in one game that great game um you know they they they purged the
06:14demons and beat the eagles at metlife stadium um it was terrific you know the crowd was chanting his
06:20name great but then he got hurt so the questions for me with camp scatter was one can he stay
06:26healthy
06:26you know he he doesn't he's he's a not a tall guy but he's a tough rough and tumble guy
06:32he's got to avoid
06:33contact sometimes you know he's going to initiate contact more often than not can he stay on the field
06:40can he be a big play running back can he be a first down maker um i'm not sure about
06:47any of this stuff
06:48i think he's gonna be a fun running back and i like watching him play and um the jury is
06:53very much
06:54still out on him as a legitimate leading rusher on a good team we'll see here's what i need from
07:01him paul
07:02i need a thousand yards from scrimmage from him for him to be a legitimate back in this nfl and
07:09in this
07:09system for this to be a successful year for him because it's right here it's right here for the
07:14taking since 62 times since the nfl merger in 1970 two running backs have gone for over a thousand
07:22yards for scrimmage in the same backfield i think his most recent is 2024 with jameer gibbs and david
07:27montgomery you've got tyrone tracy jr who's done it twice and he's did it last year after starting the
07:34beginning of the season doing pretty much nothing he like he the run game he was giving that offense
07:41nothing and then he got his opportunity later on in the year and he showed the dual threat that he
07:46could be cam scataboo wears that that famous 44 that running back number and we all know who that was
07:53made famous for at least you know in my generation ahma bradshaw ahma bradshaw played his ass off ran his
08:00ass off and and kind of kept quiet he wasn't doing backflips he wasn't invited to fanatics fest and
08:06those sort of things but this dude eats for free this dude still gets paid and lives off of coming
08:12up here getting flown up here doing signings people love this man they're still little babies you know
08:19being baptized or wearing 44 jerseys being baptized into giants nation rocking that old school 44 jersey
08:28he cam scataboo was able to come on to the onto the scene and be this life like this heartbeat
08:35this
08:36lifeline he was excited the woo the backflips the taking your shirt off with ryan fitzpatrick
08:42after beating the eagles on thursday night football a fan base was starved for that sort of energy
08:49so now you've got to do even more to keep to not only to not only not so much save
08:56face but to
08:57to not only to you got to do more on the field so you can do more off the field
09:04this is what comes
09:05with being a star running back or a starting running back in new york and now with the rise of
09:11social
09:11media and and you're you're connected with michael rubin and and you can go to white parties all white
09:17parties and all this stuff you got to have yourself a year you got to have yourself a successful year
09:23and this is the regime to do that we're talking about a head coach that wants to run the football
09:28a running backs coach and willie taggart that wants to develop running backs and to have a one-two punch
09:34and then the offensive coordinator like matt nagy who's gone from having the pacheco's in the backfield
09:39with the kareem hunts it's it's it's right there for you so if he doesn't want to be just considered
09:46a whoa guy and just a wwe an actor per se it's everything is right here for this guy and
09:55i think
09:56a thousand yards from scrimmage would be enough for him and they got to win obviously but a thousand
10:01yards for scrimmage around eight plus touchdowns that cam scataboo now that 44 that number 44
10:09you're going to see people start saying okay that's more of a scataboo thing than in the mod
10:13brashaw not not just after one year but we at least get into that conversation well look
10:20a mod brashaw won two superbowls that's why that's why when he comes back you know everyone everyone
10:27loves him and remembers him he was a good player he was a tough player right he was not a
10:31great media guy
10:32you know he was okay but he was a rough guy he right he was the opposite he was the
10:35antithesis of
10:36what cam scataboo is um and that's fine you know what i mean there's nothing wrong with cam
10:41scataboo you know there's nothing wrong with having fun you know he and he and jackson dart are buddies
10:45they head butt you know it's great you know that that's fine you know i mean it it's it was
10:51fun
10:52while it lasted it didn't last that long because he got hurt yeah and so now he has to he
10:58had right
10:58he has to be a really good player you know he was a fourth round draft pick he doesn't have
11:02to be a star
11:02he doesn't have to be saquon barkley he wasn't drafted like saquon barkley he needs to and let
11:08me tell you if they both have a thousand yards i'm not even so worried about scrimmage i'm talking
11:12about running you know we've seen giants teams where they had two running backs with a thousand yards
11:18right um if they if both these guys are nearing a thousand yards rushing this team's going to be
11:23pretty good absolutely because that's what john harbaugh wants and um don't forget jackson dart's going to
11:28have several hundred yards rushing so we're talking about 24 2500 rushing yards for the new york football
11:34giants that's john harbaugh's dream and um that will be pretty good so i mean i don't think we're coming
11:42down on camp scataboo we're just saying you did some good things as a rookie you did some things you
11:47need to improve on as a rookie and the the aura and and and story behind camp scataboo is not
11:54quite
11:54reflected in the numbers that he produced and so you're right when you put yourself out there with
12:00all this stuff you don't have a target on your back but people start saying things like yo dude
12:06you're only one year in the league prove that you can do this stuff yeah when you're quiet and don't
12:12put yourself out there it's all about the football and no one thinks about you in the offseason when you
12:17do this kind of stuff people think about you and they get excited but it's added pressure in some ways
12:22and
12:22that's fine now he's just got to go do it can't wait till that that first game against dallas where
12:28he breaks a couple tackles and the the crowd that home crowd kind of rallies behind them and he brings
12:34that energy again back to that home stadium people are waiting for that uh you know me and you we
12:40can't
12:40wait for that uh either all right since we both agree on the last guy on the count of three
12:48we're
12:48going to name the next guy we feel like has to have a breakout year and then i will allow
12:54you go
12:55first in terms of why your guy has to go you ready here we go one two three isaiah likely
13:04neighbors isaiah likely you you go first paul because i i i think malik neighbors is somewhat
13:10playing with house money this year but you go ahead i need to know why no no no i mean
13:16here's the
13:17thing do we think that he's going to hit the ground running and and practice on wednesday in
13:23white sulfur springs no he will not be he's not ready and so how many games is he going to
13:29play
13:30this year is he going to be ready for the season opener is he going to he's going to be
13:33able to play
13:3312 games 14 games 16 games 10 games we don't know but here's my take on malik neighbors he has
13:41to be
13:41the best wide receiver on the team when he is on the field for as many games as they can
13:47get out of
13:48him there's no house money here um you know he got hurt during the season early in the season last
13:55year
13:55he played one quarter of football with jackson dart right he got hurt in week four yeah his recovery
14:01from acl surgery there was more than that there was meniscus damage was complicated and not swift we get
14:07it and then he had a cleanup procedure in the off season so that sent him back a little bit
14:13there
14:13was some scarring and some some pulling i guess so this was not a cookie cutter acl you're back in
14:2010
14:20months bang and you're ready to roll okay that's fine we hope we haven't seen the best of malik
14:25neighbors that would be a disaster for the giants but when i look at this receiver core okay you're a
14:30receiver guy right brandon yes okay who is the great receiver who is the bust out guy here okay
14:38darius slayton we know what darius slayton is from all his years with the giants darnell mooney i don't
14:43think so the and i'm not i'm not disparaging these guys it's just they are what they are and they're
14:48getting paid what they're getting paid because the giants think they are what they are darius slayton
14:53we know darnell mooney okay calvin austin okay isaiah hodgins we know what he is if he makes the team
15:00malachi fields he's a rookie okay he's a rookie the giants traded up for him he's a rookie that's all
15:06we
15:06have to say about that he's not going to be odell beckham jr as a rookie which leads us to
15:11odell
15:12beckham jr does he even make the team of 33 we'll see juju smith schuster has been an effective player
15:18in the league not so much lately braxton berrios more of a kick returner he's been an accomplished
15:24slot guy we'll see if he even makes the team that's a bunch of 250 to 280 hitters in my
15:31mind
15:31you got some guys who can play who can do some things there's no home run hitter there there just
15:36isn't um you're going to talk to me about isaiah likely fine maybe he has a great year he's not
15:42travis kelsey you know he just isn't he's not gronkowski he just isn't is he going to lead the
15:47team in receptions and touchdowns and receiving yards maybe but if he does i'm not so sure it's a
15:53great passing attack so for when malik neighbors gets back he has to become the player that he was as
16:00a
16:00rookie a really terrific player a bust out guy a guy that when you line him up on the outside
16:07and there's one cornerback across from him jackson darts thrown to him every time and then the defense
16:13learns and they say we can't do that we got to bracket him we got to have a safety over
16:17the top
16:18we can't deal with him the way we can deal with normal guys i think every guy i mentioned of
16:23the
16:23wide receivers you can deal with them without special attention so that's why i say malik neighbors
16:28i don't need a hundred catches and 1300 yards because i don't think he's going to play as many
16:34games to get that once he gets healthy and on the field a little bit of a ramp up you
16:41know get him
16:41back in the swing of things and then for as many games as he plays i think we got to
16:46nod to each
16:46other and say yeah that's that first round pick that's malik man that's leak that's the guys are
16:52going league that's the guy the fans are excited about he's the best player he's the receiver
16:58that's what they need that's why to me he's one of the three guys that they must have a breakout
17:02from on offense and because of that since we have to wait since we're sitting there in the waiting
17:09rooms like the dentist you're sitting there you're waiting you're on your phone you're just waiting
17:12you're waiting for that name to be called you're waiting for the leak isaiah likely has to take over
17:18he is in the position to take over they gave him three years 40 million dollars you came with
17:24harbaugh harbaugh has identified you as a i'm paying you because of what i've seen you do
17:30what you've done you're behind mark andrews who could be a potential hall of famer when it's done
17:36we'll see but isaiah likely has had moments and a lot of moments in some big games throughout the
17:43course of this time down there in baltimore with lamar jackson whether it be as a route runner going up
17:49and grabbing the route or grabbing the rock or even uh during scramble drill isaiah likely has
17:55put up some big numbers or or it looked like he could potentially put up some big numbers if he
18:00was that number one guy there are a lot of people on when you look at this guy and you're
18:05like all
18:06right well he only had 36 catches last year 30 the year before that he had 42 the year before
18:11that
18:12and then 27 his rookie year six touchdowns in 2024 five touchdowns in 2023 you you you you need this
18:22is
18:23the guy to where the offense is going to run around or or be based off of until malik neighbors
18:29is back
18:30and we talk about um cam scadaboo and tyrone tracy being in a system to where okay you've got an
18:36offensive coordinator the matt nagy i've i've run pony uh type uh type type personnel before with two
18:42running backs in that backfield where he's also seen travis kelsey and we don't know if isaiah likely
18:48can have how much percentage he could be of a travis kelsey or a greg or a greg what's greg
18:56kittle
18:56greg kittle the dude from 49 yeah greg kittle george kittle george kittle because we haven't we haven't
19:02seen him as the guy and it brings me back to my biggest question mark or the not biggest question
19:08mark or the thing that scares me the most is he's not darren waller he doesn't come in and there's
19:14like remember when we saw darren waller during the spring and during training camp that dude i thought
19:20i tweeted i said the dude's gonna have 100 something catches this year and he ended up being he's a
19:25rapper
19:26now and there's no no disrespect to them he you know he had a really good career prior to you
19:30know the
19:30injuries and stuff but it was that it was that it it was that underperformance that daniel jones
19:38suffered because of because he had a he had a a receiving core kind of like it was now no
19:45malik
19:45neighbors type receiving core and he needed that tight end to step up and have big production so i feel
19:51like jackson dart going into that second year needs the isaiah likely to come down and make some of the
19:57plays that he made with lamar jackson plus some because now he is the featured guy on this
20:04offense until we get malik neighbors back so i'm i'm like i'm thinking for malik a successful season
20:11is 700 plus yards receiving for isaiah likely 850 plus i feel like okay this dude he he earned he
20:21earned
20:21his money in this offense this year see here he here's here's i will just you know we don't it's
20:27not an argument it's just it's just a discussion um here's what i would say malik neighbors uh as a
20:32rookie did you think he had the potential to be one of the top five wide receivers in the game
20:35absolutely absolutely okay so i'm i'm asking malik neighbors when he gets back on the field
20:41to be that player again to be that player again isaiah likely has never been that player so we are
20:49asking him to do something that he's never done before okay you know 30 catches 40 catches three
20:56touchdowns four five touchdowns malik neighbors had over 100 catches and 1200 yards two years ago
21:03and then he got hurt so we're saying malik we want you to pick up where you left off as
21:08a rookie
21:08and then ascend from there isaiah likely we're saying after four years in baltimore we want you to be a
21:15different player from any player that you've been with harbaugh in baltimore he might be able to do
21:22it but he's never going to be one of the top five tight ends in in the game malik neighbors
21:28we still
21:29think has a chance to be one of the best wide receivers in the game that's why i i think
21:33they need
21:34great performance from neighbors i think they need likely and theo johnson to be really good tight ends
21:42you know complementary tight ends in the passing game and the blocking and things like that
21:47it's okay either way they they're both important players oh without a doubt all right with that i
21:52mean either way like you say both important players and both have to show up and and have big
21:58performances throughout the course of this season when they can because this leads us to our last guy
22:03we both i mean everyone agrees on this one it has to be jackson dart like it jackson dart has
22:09to have
22:09that year two jump we want to see what josh allen did we want to see what drake may was
22:14able to do
22:15last year um we this team this offense this franchise is only going to go as far as jackson dart
22:25and we
22:26we've we've identified this guy and we've crowned him as the franchise quarterback everyone is looking
22:32at him because as the future and he was i mean because of some of the things we saw him
22:37and the ability
22:38and the things he was able to do with less like you mentioned neighbors goes down scat goes down
22:44you know offensive line was inconsistent at times jackson dart put on the show last year and he gave
22:51everybody that hope but the biggest thing paul i think people love him so much or want him to shine
23:01so much because he is the anti daniel jones daniel jones actually had a better rookie year than
23:07jackson dart when we talk about the numbers but daniel jones is brooks brothers wearing loafers you know
23:13more carlton jackson darts more of the fresh prince and and i think this fan base really wants to see
23:20a
23:20rock star quarterback like that but they want the wins to go with it they want the eli type production
23:27to
23:27go with it so it has to jackson dart has to not only take that year two leap but he
23:33has to have
23:34a breakout year for this team for this franchise for this fan base was eli manning a rock star quarterback
23:40no he was not no no so i'm saying i i don't look jackson dart has gotten in some uh
23:47people look
23:47are not happy with some of his offseason you know that people say so some people some media members and
23:52you know some fans a celebrity quarterback right we don't need a celebrity quarterback in the offseason
23:58jackson dart is everywhere on social media he's been to every event he goes to the world cup he goes
24:04to
24:04the kentucky derby he posts you know videos of him catching fish fish with his um with his girlfriend
24:10you know influencer girlfriend um you know fine i mean i think people sometimes forget at 22 and 23 years
24:16old
24:17um you know sometimes that goes with the territory you do stuff like that and it's fine it's fun he's
24:23out there but yeah i mean is is it a bit much maybe it's a bit much for a guy
24:28who was four and eight as
24:30a starter last year yeah um that's another thing i think that john harbaugh looks at all that and goes
24:36i mean i don't think he sees it and when he sees it and when he's told about it i
24:40think he goes yeah okay
24:41i wish i could be doing that now except i got i'm 63 years old i got to worry about
24:4590 players and all
24:46my coaches and you know i can't be running around going fishing and going to all these games you
24:50know i mean there's some jealousy involved with some people who say oh jackson dart he just wants
24:55to be a celebrity quarterback um he just has to improve not he doesn't have to take a quantum leap
25:02he has to get better um you know what i like best about jackson dart he had 12 starts in
25:07only one game
25:08he threw two interceptions that's good that means he's seeing the field um he's not throwing a ball
25:14all over the place we know that he was reckless running the ball but he was not reckless throwing
25:19the ball and it was interesting i talked to um brian callahan the offensive the um quarterbacks
25:24coach and uh um running game the passing game coordinator a newly hired former titans head coach
25:30right did some really good things with a lot of good quarterbacks in the league including
25:33joe burrow with the bangles and i asked him about jackson and about his running i said he ran a
25:39lot
25:39last year and and brian callahan said yeah well he ran well so he doesn't want to take that
25:46strong running away from jackson but he made a good point he said jackson he thinks tried to prove how
25:53tough he was as a rookie you know you come in the league you need to prove i'm tough i'll
25:57take one for
25:58the team i'm not going to run out of bounds you know it's the first quarter it's third and seven
26:03i get
26:03six yards i'm diving for that seventh yard i'm going head first i'm picking up the first down i'm taking
26:08a hit um and brian callahan said he proved it he proved how tough he was and and and callahan
26:15said
26:15i don't think he has to do that again he's already proved it um i'm not sure if jackson dart
26:22would agree
26:22with that or admit to that but i think deep down there is some of that that okay you proved
26:27it to
26:28these guys to your offensive linemen that you will take one for the team and you will you know sacrifice
26:33your body you know what now you don't have to sacrifice your body that much you have to stay
26:38on the field and stay out of the blue tent and remain the quarterback of the giants for 15 16
26:4617
26:46games and then you know when the time comes you need to lower your head or run for a first
26:51down or run
26:52over a linebacker you'll do it maybe not in the first quarter maybe in the third quarter maybe not in
26:58the first week but maybe in the seventh week you know be smarter with yourself um you know josh allen
27:04who was you know the the king of you know reckless you know uh wild cowboy quarterbacks he still does
27:12it but he's gotten smarter at that there's no question so jackson dart will get smarter at it
27:17there's no question about it um i think he'll be a more efficient quarterback the offensive line looks
27:22pretty solid in front of him so i think it's fascinating you know it's great to cover a young
27:27quarterback because you know who has potential which he does we'll see the development we'll see
27:32the steps forward he takes um i don't question his work ethic i don't question his diligence and his
27:39loyalty and his commitment um do i question some of these celebrity quarterback stuff that people talk
27:45about a little bit it puts more of a bullseye on him that's all and it puts a a bullseye
27:51and a target
27:52on fans who don't like him to say all this dude wants to do is make videos well i think
27:57mostly what
27:58this dude wants to do is win games for the giants now we'll see how that manifests itself yeah i
28:03just
28:03want to defend a little bit of this offseason here because if we think about it eli manning he didn't
28:09get social media until a couple years ago but let's say social media was what it was back when eli
28:18played he would be considered a rock star celebrity quarterback as well because one he was a manning
28:26two you play football for the new york football giants it doesn't matter if you win four games you
28:33win 14 games they're going to be talking about the new york football giants on get up on fs1 on
28:41all
28:41these shows whether you suck or you're good the giants are going to make the headlines people are going
28:47to talk about them so when you look at some of the stuff that he's done outside you know i'll
28:51leave
28:51the politics stuff out of this because that's you know that has that we don't talk about that stuff
28:56on blue brush but if you look at him going fishing you're everyone goes fishing if eli went fishing and
29:04posted that picture that would have blown up if eli jumped off a boat on july 4th or through a
29:11ball
29:11through a touchdown pass to somebody on a jet ski that would have blown up if eli went to
29:16fanatics fest and they had some weird actors dressed as offensive linemen that looked just
29:23look like they played jv football that would have blown up as well like that comes with being the
29:29starting quarterback for the new york football giants i get it but eli i mean like i said nothing you
29:38said that jackson dart did was like really why'd he do that of course i mean it's normal stuff he's
29:43having fun it's the off season he should be doing that but it's just different i mean i don't like
29:48always comparing everyone to eli we all do that you know yeah present company included he's like you
29:53know and and jackson john actually last year didn't like a lot of that when he was being compared to
29:59eli
29:59with some things and it was like you know i could see in his head he's thinking i'm not eli
30:04you know i
30:04want to have rings like eli but i'm not eli and he's not eli and that's fine eli was pretty
30:09boring
30:09for his 16 years with the giants he was pretty boring with what he said to us and i don't
30:14think
30:14eli would have been on every red carpet he was married at a young age yeah um you know if
30:20he went
30:20fishing i don't know what he would have posted i mean all this stuff with eli his fun loving you
30:25know knucklehead you know clever insightful you know whimsical stuff has all happened after he retired
30:32and that was by design i mean there was social media when eli was playing um you know for some
30:37of
30:38his career but he eli chose not to do that that doesn't mean he is he is the pope and
30:43that and
30:44that jackson darts a sinner you know what i mean it just means it's different and it but it does
30:49i mean
30:49i think you have to admit when you do these things and you put yourself out there there's nothing wrong
30:55with it but it it anything in social media it it creates a a a not even a narrative it
31:02just creates a
31:03a bulletin board for people to like or not like absolutely and that's fine i don't know if jackson
31:09dart cares about that but like i said i don't question his his commitment and his work ethic
31:15you know he's he's every every so often you see he's throwing with guys in vegas he's doing things
31:21now can he have a good time with teammates in vegas sure but they're also out there wearing no shirts
31:26sweating their you know what off because they're working so that's great um look jackson dart i think in
31:33the locker room i've talked about this charisma personality his ability to get older players to
31:38play with him and and want to play and block for him and do their best for him i think
31:43that's all
31:44terrific stuff i think he is a or a plus in that regard um i just think it you know
31:51he he likes the
31:52celebrity life i don't think there's any question about it and i don't think there's anything wrong
31:55with it it's just now eli manning is beloved because he won two superbowls and so ahmad bradshaw
32:03we said can't buy a meal in this town and keeps on coming back because he won two superbowls so
32:08um
32:11daniel jones is a terrific guy and he he may maybe he'll win a superbowl with the colts
32:15um but he he flamed out as a quarterback and he did not win enough with a with a franchise
32:21and an
32:21operation that was um you know quite frankly you know did him a disservice most of the time
32:28so jackson dart has has john harbaugh in year number two and a new regime and some nice pieces
32:34around him and now he can he can you know write this second chapter his next chapter of his career
32:40and um you know i think we're all looking forward to watching and seeing how that develops to sum it
32:45all up everything you just said when it came to uh scat and dart it goes back to that tweet
32:50exchange
32:51back and forth between jackson dart eli manning where he's like eli you need to put where some
32:55chains or something he's like dart you need to get the rings you get the rings here you can jump
33:01off boats you can do backflips you do whatever you want to do but this is a ring town and
33:08we'll see
33:08young guys they're gonna have their opportunity uh all right that's enough for uh today's blue rush
33:14uh keep an eye out for us throughout the course of the week and next week going into training camp
