00:00Hello there, good morning. Now some of us are starting to get a little bit fed up of
00:05the heat now. Depending on where you are, you're either in for another hot day or something
00:09not quite as warm. And it's all down to this battleground between high pressure towards
00:14the north and low pressure towards the south. We're still feeding in an easterly flow of
00:19air, so still across many eastern areas, not getting quite as warm here. Still fairly hot
00:24in the south, but this is where we'll see some quite gusty weather continuing through
00:27today. Some gales potentially across southern coasts and hills of southern areas of England
00:33and also Wales. So do take care if you're heading to the beach. It could lead to some choppy
00:38waters and also some stronger tides. Otherwise, for the rest of the day, it should be mostly
00:43dry and settled. It's going to be quite a cloudy start. This will be thick enough to produce
00:47some light rain across east Anglia, parts of Lincolnshire, maybe through the very early
00:51hours across southern parts of Yorkshire. We can see by the afternoon, a lot of this cloud
00:56has cleared away, especially across Scotland, where they held on to quite a lot of cloud
01:00yesterday. So wall-to-wall blue skies for many areas. Temperatures are touched down for
01:07some, but still pushing into the high 20s, possibly into the low 30s across the south. But notice
01:12that temperature difference from west to east, still eastern areas, probably a more pleasant
01:17heat. Temperatures either in the high teens or the low 20s here. And in the wind as well,
01:23feeling that little bit cooler here. And hopefully some relief of the heat across southern areas
01:28in the brisk easterly wind. Now don't forget into tomorrow, even if the cloud holds on into
01:34the morning, the UV levels can still be high, if not very high across much of the country.
01:38So don't forget your sun protection. Lots of late evening sunshine to finish off the day,
01:43though we do have some showers just pushing into some southern counties. You may hear the odd
01:47rumble of thunder here before they eventually clear away. And then it's a very similar night where
01:52there's going to be lots of clear skies in the west, but still that moisture feeding in from the
01:56North Sea. So another cloudy start for some heading into Tuesday morning. And it'll feel a little bit
02:02fresher for some as well, but still some warm nights ahead across parts of the south. Temperatures
02:08here not really dropping much past 16 to 17 degrees Celsius. Now Tuesday looks very similar to Monday.
02:16Some cloud to start. It'll lift and break quite quickly through the course of the morning.
02:20And once again, plenty of clear skies by the afternoon. We might see a build of higher cloud
02:25across parts of the south later into the day. So creating more bright skies, some hazy
02:29sunshine and some of the cloud just holding on to some coasts, mostly northeastern coasts
02:34of Scotland, but otherwise wall to wall blue skies once again for many areas. And temperatures
02:40starting to creep up once again, looking at highs of around 30 to 31 degrees Celsius. Still
02:46feeling a little better around eastern coasts, Northern Ireland as well, widely in the low to
02:51mid 20s here, if not the high teens across areas of the northeast. But temperatures are set to build
02:57as we progress into the week. So the heat wave is going to be continuing for some areas. A little
03:03fresher by night, but even these temperatures will start to increase as the week goes on and the heat
03:08continues to build. It's very hot and humid at times. So this is enough to produce some showers,
03:13which may bring some thunderstorms as well, and often remaining rather windy in the south. But like
03:19I said, hopefully bringing us some relief from the heat across these areas where we do see the
03:24strongest winds. Don't forget for your updates on this week's weather, you can subscribe to our
03:29YouTube. Otherwise, that's everything from me. Bye bye.
