00:00Hello there, good morning.
00:02Quite a grey and murky start to the day, some fog in places and this is expected to be quite
00:08slow to clear, particularly across Scotland, Northern Ireland, North West England, also
00:12some fairly low cloud creeping into parts of the South East.
00:16This could lead to some difficult driving conditions so do take care if you're out and
00:19about early this Sunday morning.
00:22And the cloud is set to stick around through much of the day, some spells of rain eventually
00:26pushing into parts of the South, moving northwards through the course of the afternoon and this
00:30could be quite persistent, if not rather heavy at times later on.
00:34There will be some brightness though, East Anglia, parts of Sussex and Kent, also later across
00:39Northern Ireland and the far north of Scotland, maybe even some sunny spells starting to break
00:43through that cloud.
00:44But for the majority of us, quite a cloudy grey day and feeling quite chilly under cloudy
00:49skies and where we see any spells of rain.
00:52But it's still fairly mild across the far South East, highs reaching around 10 to 11 degrees
00:56Celsius here.
00:59Now into the evening, not much change, still quite a lot of cloud, we'll tend to see a
01:04return of some mist and fog, if not turning to freezing fog across parts of Scotland where
01:08temperatures dip below freezing.
01:10Any rain slowly easing away through the early hours of Monday, though we've got a second area
01:15of rain starting to push into Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland, perhaps turning
01:18a little bit breezy here at times too.
01:21Feeling slightly chillier to start the day on Monday, some patchy frost in places, but
01:25quite a widespread frost across the far north of Scotland once again, where we see the clouds
01:30stick around, temperatures across many towns and cities remaining in around the mid single
01:34figures.
01:36So once again, grey, murky, quite dank in places to start on Monday.
01:40There will still be some showery outbreaks across England and Wales, but once again the best
01:45of the brightness across the South East, across northern parts of Scotland.
01:49But Northern Ireland is likely to see quite a grey day with some spells of rain at times.
01:54Still where we see quite persistent cloud, it is going to be feeling chilly, highs once
01:58again reaching around 10 degrees Celsius in the south.
