00:00So the Red Sox have a couple of players that, you know, when Sam, our producer, is putting this show
00:04together starting probably early in the week, he's like, yeah, I mean, let's do this.
00:07And now all of a sudden, you know, Boston may not trade anybody.
00:11Who knows?
00:12But Aroldis Trapman a week ago was one of the hottest names that would have been out there for a
00:16potential trade because he's been amazing.
00:18And Wilson Contreras has had an all-star season for the Red Sox, too.
00:23But at this stage of the game, Tom, at the very least, I think the Red Sox could be holders
00:30as opposed to traders.
00:32And if they're going to even go for it, you're going to keep the guys that you have, I would
00:36think.
00:37And so I guess I would say I'm 50-50 on both of these players.
00:42I have to wait till August.
00:43I got nothing.
00:44It has to be.
00:45You know, we touched on Sonny Gray earlier because he's been great.
00:48Chapman Contreras, those are three players.
00:49I will say the next two weeks are going to be really telling because the recent win streak that the
00:56Red Sox have been on, it could be a little bit smoke and mirrors.
00:59You beat the White Sox, who have been kind of floundering.
01:01You beat the Mets.
01:02Congrats.
01:02The next two weeks leading up to the beginning of August, that's going to be truly telling about what the
01:07Red Sox do post-all-star break.
01:09Because if they regress right back to where they were, you've got to get rid of these players.
01:12If they can hold things on and they're within a game, I think they'll keep them.
