00:00You take a look at some of the past couple games for the Red Sox, it hasn't been great this week.

00:052-1-4-1-1-2, multiple games being played in extra innings and still not scoring.

00:11So, Tom, I'm going to ask you first here.

00:13We did Raphael Devers' edition of Panic Meter a few short weeks ago, which, again, was like, you know what?

00:18He's actually playing much better baseball right now.

00:19I'm going to ask you the same thing.

00:21Are we worried about the Boston Red Sox, and what is your panic level here in that equation?

00:26My panic for them overall is still calm.

00:28And Rafi started off the season super slow.

00:32They were on the road.

00:33They come back home, and he's hitting all over the place.

00:35He's back up to 270, 260 average.

00:37So, that's totally fine.

00:39They still have a lot of young talent that still needs to elevate.

00:42I can buy into it and essentially rationalize, A, the weather wasn't amazing.

00:47The players are going to go through their natural variance.

00:50And if the top portion of the lineup with their veterans or their best hitters aren't performing,

00:55just because that's what baseball is on a day-to-day basis,

00:57and those rookies and young players aren't also performing,

01:00and those things happen at the same time,

01:02this is where we're going to get low offensive output.

01:04As the weather gets warmer and we see these players develop,

01:07we see, you know, Devers and Bregman hit their stride,

01:09I think things will be okay.

01:11I'm not worried about it.
