00:12especially coming from Ireland.
00:13But what we didn't get into was just your journey with Strixon. This episode, of course, is presented by Strixon.
00:19I know you're a player who's obsessed with it. We all are. Can you talk about just when you were
00:242010 and right around that time, just how you got in with Strixon?
00:29What was the process like for you, of course, coming off of a really impressive amateur career?
00:36Yeah, I remember. So I was I turned pro in like mid 2009. And then towards the end of 2009,
00:48Strixon came and asked, obviously came to my agent or whatever at the time and asked.
00:52And and I kind of then went and I tested the ball. I remember I remember testing the ball and
00:59absolutely loving the ball straight away.
01:00So that was like a big thing for me. And I remember at the time my contract was was only
01:05like wedges and balls.
01:06Obviously, Cleveland wedges are amazing. They always have been. And, you know, even if you didn't have to use them,
01:11you probably would.
01:12You know, it's it's one of those. And then, yeah, I was pretty happy straight away.
01:16And then as I got into to join as I joined the company and then got to know the people
01:21in there and then the company, I think, start going from strength to strength.
01:25You know, a few years later with the equipment that we're making, you know, the iron started to become really
01:30good and and now, you know, on to like the woods becoming really good.
01:35I think, you know, being there through all of that, because at the start, it was it wasn't, you know,
01:42Strixon Cleveland was like wedges ball.
01:44And then now the company, it's to see the company kind of grow from that to, you know, where it
01:50is now, where like I think it's the best iron in the world by far.
01:54You know, I think the driver is certainly the last couple of models of driver have been amazing.
02:00And obviously the wages, it goes with saying the wages are the best.
02:06And then for me, the ball is like, I always say this about Strixon players, when the going gets tough
02:14and like the conditions get tough, there's probably, there's more than likely there's going to be a couple of Strixon
02:20players up there.
