00:30leaked to China following the recent earthquakes in Venezuela that continues an active phase of
00:37emergency response and recovery with broad participation from the Chinese communities
00:43living in the country, companies with Chinese capital and official cooperation mechanisms.
00:51At the governmental level, China has allocated approximately 100 million yuan, about 15 million
01:01US dollars, in emergency assistance focused on medical supplies, relief materials and technical support.
01:10This is complemented by contribution from the Red Cross Society of China, with a donation
01:17of 300 000 dollars, as well as support through satellite imagery to damage assessment and coordination
01:28of response operations. In the corporate sector, Chinese companies have mobilized heavy machinery,
01:36medical equipment and technical personnel, delivering more than 150 tons of humanitarian aid, while in addition,
01:49200 tons of supplies remain the process of distribution to affected area. The larger component of the response
01:58comes from the Chinese community in China, in Venezuela, who have channeled the distribution of nearly
02:061,700 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, drinking water, medicines, clothing and emergency kits,
02:16organized through community networks and local associations, benefiting tens of thousands of affected families.
