00:09Rescue works have continued non-stop in La Guaira, the Venezuelan state that was harshly hit by the June 24th
00:16twin earthquakes.
00:18Four days after the event, national and international brigades continued reaching survivors under the rubble.
00:26Two hours ago, we had contact with the survivors at these two worksites.
00:30The colleagues here set up a live stream, we set up an internet connection, and we got to contact them.
00:36That's what allowed for the interaction.
00:38And so we continue in the worksite. We hope to get five, six survivors from here.
00:45In the Los Cocos area, many continue searching for their family members,
00:50following rescue operations and checking centralized hospital data
00:54in hope of receiving good news from their loved ones.
00:59A lot of strength. I wish everyone hope and not to give up on what our heart tells us.
01:04I'm confident my sister is okay. For my sister, I'll go to the ends of the earth.
01:11Meanwhile, temporary camps were set up to help those affected
01:14with food and water available as well as medical assistance.
01:21We have very good health professionals who are caring for the injured.
01:25We have several tents alongside other organizations
01:28who are independent from the government
01:30and are accompanying the needs of our people and nation
01:33in this moment of solidarity.
01:38Fifteen such camps are already set up in the state
01:41in an effort to mitigate the devastating impact of the twin quakes.
