00:10Our correspondent, Belen de los Santos, is in Los Cocos' neighborhood with more details.
00:17Hello, studios. I'm coming to you from La Guayra.
00:19In this case, we came to Los Cocos, one of the most affected sectors of the state after the double
00:27earthquake of June 24.
00:30One of the sites where there was major damage to many of these structures and collapsed buildings.
00:38Just right behind me, you see the OPP 26, one of the number of towers that were collapsed here.
00:50And what you see is nonstop work.
00:53It's a month after that June 24, that changed Venezuela and particularly La Guayra forever.
01:01And from that moment on, the work has not ceased.
01:05Of course, there were many of those rescues came from these sites.
01:11And now that a month has passed, the different organizations, particularly from Venezuela, different sectors of the state,
01:19and also from the different states of the country that have come here to help in the rescue efforts,
01:26continue working in the removal of debris and searching for the family members, for the loved ones of many here
01:37in the community.
01:37A joint effort that continues after one month between organizations, rescuers, with the help of international brigades that came here,
01:49but particularly from the Venezuelan forces that are working with the community,
01:53that know the territory, that know the building, that know the people who lived here,
01:58and that continue and do not stop in their efforts to bring those affected families that have gone through so
02:07much grief,
02:07a grief that is not only for the neighbors here in Los Pocos, that extends to the state and to
02:13the country,
02:14bring them a little bit of peace in knowing that the efforts are not stopping
02:20and that everyone is working together in order to recover those loved ones that they are waiting for.
02:28And that is what is happening.
02:29That was one of the promises.
02:31Of course, there is a lot of dust moving around.
02:35We are at the site of work right now.
02:38And one of the promises was that work would not stop.
02:42It would not stop until every last sign of life was cared for.
02:48And that is how many were rescued.
02:51And also, it is not stopping now that the main objective is to find those loved ones, those family members.
03:01And that is what this work is all about.
03:04That is one of the things happening right now in La Guayra,
03:08as all the stages of recovery are deployed at the same time.
03:11This is happening while apartments are being repaired as well,
03:15while territories are being inspected for new constructions,
03:19while people are being cared for in the health centers and in the transitory camps.
03:26All of that is happening at the same time, one month after the double earthquakes.
