00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
03:11as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord,
03:54because there is none other that fights for it, but only you, O God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:15The book of Job, chapter 10.
04:19I am weary of my life.
04:22I will complain without restraint.
04:24I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
04:27I will say to God,
04:29Do not condemn me.
04:31Tell me why you are contending with me.
04:34Is it good for you to oppress,
04:36to despise the work of your hands,
04:39while you smile on the schemes of the wicked?
04:43Do you have eyes of flesh,
04:45or do you see as a human being sees?
04:50Are your days like the days of a mortal,
04:53or your years like the years of a mortal,
04:55that you must search out my iniquity,
04:58and inquire about my sin,
05:01even though you know that I am not guilty,
05:04and that there is no one who can deliver out of your hand?
05:09Your hands have shaped me and made me,
05:12but now you destroy me completely.
05:16Remember that you have made me as with the clay.
05:19Will you return me to dust?
05:22Did you not pour me out like milk,
05:24and curdle me like cheese?
05:27You clothed me with skin and flesh,
05:30knitting me together with bones and sinews.
05:33You gave me life and favour.
05:36Your intervention watched over my spirit.
05:40But these things you have concealed in your heart.
05:43I know that this is with you.
05:46If I sinned, then you would watch me,
05:49and you would not acquit me of my iniquity.
05:52If I am guilty, woe to me,
05:55and if I am innocent, I cannot lift my head.
05:58I am full of shame,
06:01and satiated with my affliction.
06:04If I lift myself up,
06:06you hunt me as a fierce lion,
06:09and again you display your power against me.
06:13You bring new witnesses against me,
06:16and increase your anger against me.
06:20Relief troops, come against me.
06:24Why then did you bring me out of the womb?
06:27I should have died,
06:29and no eye would have seen me.
06:31I should have been as though I had never existed.
06:34I should have been carried right from the womb to the grave.
06:40Are not my days few?
06:43Cease then, and leave me alone,
06:45that I might find a comfort before I depart.
06:48But never to return.
06:51To the land of shadows,
06:53and the deepest shadow.
06:54To the land of utter darkness,
06:56like the deepest darkness,
06:58and the deepest shadow and disorder,
07:01where even the light is like darkness.
07:05this is the word of the Lord.
07:08Thanks be to God.
07:33I should have been as though I am.
07:35I should have been as though I am.
07:36There is time,
07:37and speech for language,
07:40but the voices are all about them.
07:45There's no need to run out into all the night,
07:50and they want it to the end of the world.
07:55I should have been as though I am.
08:06I should have been as though I am.

17:23The Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 11.
17:28Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Judea had news that the word of God had been given
17:33to the Gentiles.
17:35And when Peter came to Jerusalem, those who kept the rule of circumcision had an argument with him, saying,
17:43You went to men without circumcision, taking food with them.
17:49But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them,
17:53I was in the town of Joppa at prayer, falling into a deep sleep.
17:58I saw in a vision a vessel like a great cloth let down from heaven, and it came down to
18:05me.
18:06Looking on it with attention, I saw in it all sorts of beasts and birds.
18:11A voice came to my ears, saying, Come, Peter, take them for food.
18:17But I said, No, Lord, for nothing common or unclean has ever come into my mouth.
18:23But the voice coming a second time from heaven said, What God has made clean you do not make common.
18:30This was done three times, and they were again taken up into heaven.
18:36At that moment, three men sent from Caesarea came to the house where we were.
18:41And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing.
18:47Six brothers came with me, and we went into the man's house.
19:06And while I was talking to them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, as on us at the first.
19:13And the words of the Lord came to my mind, how he said, The baptism of John was with water,
19:19but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit.
19:23If God then gave them, when they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the same as he gave to
19:31us, how could I go against God?
19:37Hearing these things, they said no more, but gave glory to God, saying, To the Gentiles, as to us, God
19:45has given the change of heart, that they might have eternal life.
19:51This is the word of the Lord.
19:54Thanks be to God.
20:01Collect for peace.
20:04O God, who is the author of peace, and lover of concord, in knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
20:12whose service is perfect freedom,
20:15defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our enemies, that we, surely trusting in your defence, may not
20:24fear the power of any adversaries.
20:27Through the might of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
20:35Collect for our safe preservation.
20:39O Lord, our Heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day,
20:47defend us in the same with your mighty power, and grant that this day we fall into no sin, neither
20:55run into any kind of danger,
20:57but that all our doings may be ordered by your governance, to do always that which is righteous in your
21:07sight.
21:11Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me, and let me devote myself completely to your
21:24sacred will.
21:25direct me and help me each hour of this day, control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and
21:33words.
21:34When unpredictable circumstances arise, do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
21:43Lord Jesus, Son of God, it is better not to live than to live without you.
21:50I thank you God for the gift of this new day, and for all the good deeds you will help
21:56me do today.
21:59Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day to my Lord and Saviour.
22:05Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister, never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
22:14Control my will and teach me to pray, to believe, to hope, to suffer, to forgive and to love.
22:24Amen.
22:28We pray for the work of your faithful servants throughout the world, Lord.
22:35Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
22:41May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
22:48be with us all today and for evermore.
22:53Amen.
