02:14Before there weren't any cars
02:17And this reminds me that we're having an olden days day to day at the nursery
02:21We're going to wear clothes that people used to wear a long time ago
02:25Before we were born
02:26There were no cars in the olden days
02:29So the children might have travelled to the school in one of these
02:34That's not a horse and carriage
02:35That's a school bus
02:37I wonder who will be coming to the Bala Mori nursery today?
02:41Hello, Nathan!

04:20An olden days day?
04:22You mean a day from before we were born?
04:24Yes

04:30Miss Hooley, can I come too?
04:32Of course you can
04:34Oh, great
04:35I could build a time machine
04:37A time machine?
04:38Er, not a real one
04:39Just a play one
04:40So we can pretend we're going back in time
04:42Oh, the children would love that
04:44Oh, great
04:45Oh, but first of all
04:46Could you pop in to see Edie in your wee home?
04:48Edie?
04:49Of course
04:50It's to remind her that the olden days date is today
04:52And she needs to bring along lots of costumes
04:55Okay, I'll do that
04:56Edie first
04:57And then the time machine
04:58Right
04:59See you later
04:59Bye Archie
05:01Bye Archie
05:03So, which coloured house do you think Archie will visit first today?
05:13Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
05:18Well, this part of the story in Palomorias which is the house for me
05:24Is it yellow? Is it pink? Is it orange? What do you think?
05:30Is it red, green, blue or white? Which coloured house do you think is white?
05:41Which coloured house are we going to? Tell me what do you think?
05:47Which coloured house are we going to? Tell me what do you think?
05:53It's the blue!
05:55Yes, it's the blue house because that's where Edie MacKinnon is
06:03Hello Edie!
06:04Oh Archie, you made me jump
06:07Oh, sorry about that
06:09What are you doing?
06:10Oh, this is Neil MacKinnon's fishing net
06:12It's in a terrible tangle
06:14So I see
06:18Archie, could you hold that end for me?
06:21Certainly
06:21Ah, there
06:22Right, now if you walk over there

06:49Er, Edie?

08:21Okay
08:23Oh
08:24What do you think of these then, eh?
08:26Hm?
08:27What's that?
08:28Can't hear a thing with these on
08:30Rather good, aren't they?
08:31Okay, now, I know this time machine's only for pretend
08:34But, er, I'm gonna have a bit of a go
08:40Archie
08:41Ooh
08:43Ooh
08:44Ooh
08:46Ooh
08:46Ooh
08:47Ooh

09:02The, the time machine really works
09:04Yes
09:05Oh dear
09:06I need to get back to today
09:07So that I can take the time machine to the nursery
09:11Don't want to miss olden days, eh?
09:13Archie?
09:15Where is he?
09:17Oh, here, Nobby
09:19Hold this
09:21Ooh
09:22I better hurry and get this to the nursery
09:24Oh, no
09:26A Viking
09:27This time machine really works
09:28I've travelled even further back in time
09:30Oh, no
09:31Oh
09:32I've got to get back to today
09:33Well, maybe he's left already
09:36Oh
09:38I'd better go and look for him
09:39Or he won't have a costume to wear
09:45Hooray!
09:46I'm back to today
09:48Oh, this is quite extraordinary
09:51I've invented a time machine without actually knowing it
09:54How did I manage that?
09:57Maybe it's got something to do with yoghurt pots
10:00But I always use yoghurt pots
10:03Hang on
10:06Raspberry and gooseberry
10:08It must be that delicious new yoghurt I tried before climbing into the time machine
10:12Well, I've got to get to the bottom of this
10:14How am I going to find out how it works?
10:17Oh
10:18Well, there's only two people in Balamori I can think of who'll know how it works
10:23The people that I bought the yoghurt from
10:25Penny and Susie
10:33I'm Susie Sweet
10:34I'm Penny Pocket
10:35We're pleased to help you
10:38We both run the village shop and cafe
10:42Hey!
10:43I can tell you things you'd never dream
10:46You'd ever know
10:49I can count your money up
10:51And see how far it goes
10:56I'm Susie Sweet
10:58I'm Penny Pocket
11:00We're pleased to help you
11:02We both run the village shop and cafe
11:06Hey! We have a laugh each day
11:09In the shop and cafe
11:12Hey!
11:19Susie! Susie!
11:20Hello, Archie
11:22What's the story in Balamori?
11:24Well, it all started when I went to see Miss Hooley this morning
11:29Miss Hooley asked me to take along my helmet
11:31Because they're having an olden days day at the nursery
11:35I thought it would be fun to invent a time machine
11:37So the children could pretend to travel back in time to the olden days
11:42I went to ask Edie if she could find me a costume
11:45She agreed to bring it round later
11:48I went home and built the time machine
11:51I just needed one more yoghurt pot to finish it
11:53So I ate a delicious new raspberry and gooseberry yoghurt
11:57Then I tried the machine out
11:59It really worked
12:01I travelled back in time
12:03I tried again so I could get back to today
12:05But the machine took me even further back in time
12:08Finally it brought me back to today
12:13It must be that raspberry and gooseberry yoghurt that I bought from you that made the time machine work
12:17Can you tell me how it works, Susie, please?
12:19Yoghurt canna make you go back in time
12:23Can't it?
12:24No! You must be overexcited
12:26A way through to the cafe and I'll make you a nice cup of tea
12:30Oh, okay
12:32Perhaps I'd better have a sit down
12:37What?
12:44Well, I'm still here
12:47Yoghurt canna make you travel back in time
12:51Do you know, I've never...
12:53I've never tried raspberry and gooseberry yoghurt
13:00Let's see what it tastes like
13:05Archie!
13:06Oh, my goodness
13:06No!
13:11I must be seeing things
13:14No!
13:16The yoghurt must have made me travel back in time
13:21Well, I'm not wearing these again
13:25I'm certainly not eating any more of that
13:29Oh, no!
13:30I hope we haven't sold any more
13:34Penny!
13:35Penny, help!
13:37What's up?
13:39We mustn't sell any more of this
13:41It's dangerous
13:42They make you travel back in time
13:45Travel back in time?
13:47Don't be silly
13:49Sorry to bother you, where's my cup of tea?
13:51No, no, it's true
13:53Just ask Archie
13:55Archie, what's all this about yoghurt and travelling back in time?
14:00Well...
14:01I saw a man in a feathery hat
14:04And a Viking with a helmet
14:06A Viking helmet?
14:07Yes, with big horns
14:09Um, did it look anything like that?
14:12Well, yes, it looked exactly like that actually
14:14It's olden days day at the nursery today
14:18So it is
14:20So the person you saw must have been wearing an olden days costume
14:24Of course
14:25That explains it
14:30Oh, there you are, Archie
14:33I have been looking for you everywhere
14:36Now look, I've got your costumes here
14:38And, er, this one did have a helmet that went with it
14:42So that you could choose
14:43But, er, I've dropped it somewhere
14:45Did it have horns?
14:47Oh, you found it!
14:50Oh, thank you, Penny
14:53Now, Archie
14:54Would you like to be a cavalier?
14:59Or...
15:01A Viking?
15:02A Viking, please
15:10Do a big 20 for me to go right round
15:12Oh, you all look beautiful!
15:17Wow, you look amazing!
15:19Ooh!
15:21Who's that strange visitor?
15:24Are you going to see who it is?
15:25I wonder who it is
15:27Come with me
15:28This way round here
15:32Oh, my goodness, it was a Viking!
15:34Oh, don't worry
15:35Not really a Viking
15:37It's just me, Archie
15:38And, er, my time machine
15:40Which is full of people from a long time ago
15:42So, er, why don't you all try and guess who they all are?
15:49Friends, Romans, countrymen
15:52Lend me your ears
15:53Now this is a person who used to live in a place called Rome
15:57But who do you think it really is?
15:59Perry Polka!
16:01It's Perry! Yay!
16:05Ha, ha, ha!
16:07You were all invited to the ball
16:09Now, that's Dandini, but who is it really?

16:18Ha, ha!
16:20Fever!
16:21Yay!
16:25Yay!
16:26A funny thing happened on the way to the nursery

16:55Cindy!
17:00Well, that's me backing my today clothes
17:02It was great!
17:04So, what was the story in Vallamore?
17:11Well we were going to have an olden days day today. Archie had the idea of making a time
17:17machine so the children could pretend to travel back in time. Edie agreed to lend us all a
17:24costume. Archie went home and made the machine. He needed one more yogurt pot but first he had
17:31to eat the delicious new raspberry and gooseberry yogurt. When Edie came to look for him Archie
17:38thought he really had travelled back in time and that the yogurt had made it happen. He
17:44went to Pocket and Sweets to find out why the yogurt made him travel through time. Susie
17:50thought she'd tried the yogurt and the same thing happened. Finally Penny solved the mystery.
17:56It had been Edie all the time. Everyone came to the olden days day and dressed up. Archie's
18:05time machine was a great success. We all had great fun. I hope you did too. Bye.
18:21Bye.
