04:02Hi Archie
04:03Hi there
04:05Hi
04:07Doesn't look too rainy outside
04:09But you are soaking
04:10That is because
04:11I've been standing in the rain
04:12For a very long time
04:14Why?
04:15Come on
04:16I'll show you
04:31Ta-da!
04:32It's a puddle
04:33Yes
04:34And?
04:36It's wet
04:37And?
04:39And it will get bigger if the rain comes on again
04:42Look at this
04:48Don't look at me
04:49Look at it
04:49Oh
04:52Oh
04:53Oh my reflection
04:55That's right
04:56Yes
04:56I saw my reflection in the puddle
04:58And I just thought
04:59Zap
04:59Pow
05:00A game
05:01I'm going to build a reflecting machine
05:03That the children can play a game with
05:04It'll be great
05:05Oh
05:05Super
05:06What will this machine do?
05:08Well I'm not sure exactly
05:10I've got lots of ideas though
05:11I'm looking for things that reflect to build it with
05:13Oh
05:14Well I'm sure whatever it is the children will find it fascinating
05:17Oh they will
05:19Oh look at the time
05:20I've got to get to the shop to buy some things for my machine
05:22Oh well I'll see you later
05:23With my machine
05:25Bye
05:27So
05:28Which coloured house do you think Archie will visit first today?
05:35Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
05:40Well this part of the story in Palomarius
05:44Which is the house for me?
05:47Is it yellow?
05:48Is it pink?
05:50Is it orange?
05:51What do you think?
05:52Is it red, green, blue or white?
05:55Which coloured house do you think is right?
05:58Yellow house?
05:59Orange house?
06:01Blue, pink or white?
06:04Green house?
06:05Red house?
06:07Which do you think is right?
06:15Which coloured house are we going to tell me what do you think?
06:26It's the red house!
06:29Yes, it's the Red House, because that's where Penny and Susie live.
06:39Stop. Can I see that?
06:42Not that. That.
06:45What?
06:47They're very nice, you know.
06:49I'll have a packet of these, please.
06:51Right.
06:58Something for your tea?
07:00We've got tomato and chicken if you don't like the minestrone soup.
07:04Not shiny enough.
07:05Shiny?
07:06What exactly are you looking for, Archie?
07:09Oh, things to make a reflecting machine with.
07:11Really?
07:12And what does this machine look like?
07:15Well, it's sort of, you know, with a kind of a thing and...
07:19Well, I mean, most importantly of all, it must, um...
07:24Make reflections.
07:26Exactly.
07:27Right.
07:31A biscuit tin.
07:33Oh.
07:36Brilliant.
07:37Yes.
07:38Oh, Archie.
07:42Oh.
07:46Oh, shiny and attractive.
07:48Oh, thank you.
07:51Things that make reflections.
07:56Er...
08:01What do you think?
08:05Well, er, fantastic.
08:07I've always fancied myself on the trumpet.
08:10Hmm.
08:14Yes.
08:16Well, this is great, Susie.
08:18I'm...
08:18I'm upside down.
08:19Are you looking for the price, Archie?
08:21Hmm?
08:21That would be two pounds.
08:25Er, what are you doing, Penny?
08:27Just pricing up this new stock.
08:33Why are you making those funny faces, Archie?
08:37I'm not.
08:38You are.
08:39You are.
08:40How did you know?
08:41Sometimes it pays to have eyes in the back of your head in this shop.
08:46Archie's making a reflecting machine.
08:48He's been collecting things that make reflections.
08:51So will I total these things up, Archie?
08:53No, thank you.
08:55What do you mean, no, thank you?
08:57Thanks to Penny.
08:58All I shall need is this.
09:04This.
09:06And this.
09:08And these?
09:09I shan't be needing any of those.
09:11I've got everything I need.
09:13Right.
09:13See you later.
09:17Good luck with a reflective machine.
09:28Oh, Nobby, I can't wait to show you this.
09:30Right.
09:35Okay.
09:36Right.
09:38Now, I just attach this here.
09:40Tie it on like that.
09:43Put it in here.
09:44A few minor adjustments.
09:46Now.
09:48Okay.
09:49Looks good from here.
09:52And, more importantly.
09:57Perfect.
09:58One fully functioning reflecting machine.
10:03I can't wait to show it to Miss Hooley and play the game.
10:06Oh, hang on.
10:07I haven't even thought of a game yet.
10:09Oh, look at that time.
10:10What am I going to do?
10:13I know who's brilliant at inventing games.
10:16Josie Jump.
10:19Josie Jump.
10:22Josie Jump is my name.
10:27Dancing and sport are my games.
10:30I'm always feeling rhythm.
10:33It jingles in my toes.
10:35It tingles through my body.
10:37Come on and have a go.
10:39Everybody try kicking.
10:41Everybody try bouncing.
10:43Everybody try throwing.
10:45Everybody try jumping.
10:46Jumping.
10:47Sometimes I get the feeling.
10:49I want to jump up high.
10:51I've got to keep on running.
10:53So fast I'll think I'll fly.
10:56Jump up.
10:57A little higher.
10:58Wave your hands.
10:59Wave your hands.
11:00Jump up.
11:01A little higher.
11:02Score, go.
11:03Everybody try kicking.
11:05Everybody try bouncing.
11:07Everybody try throwing.
11:09Everybody try jumping.
11:11Sometimes I get the feeling.
11:14When getting near a hoop.
11:16The ball just keeps on bouncing.
11:18And then I'll loop-de-loop.
11:20Everybody jump up.
11:21A little higher.
11:22Wave your hands.
11:24Jump up.
11:25A little higher.
11:27Score, go.
11:28Jump up.
11:29A little higher.
11:31Wave your hands.
11:31Wave your hands.
11:32Jump up.
11:33A little higher.
11:35Score, go.
11:36Go.
11:37Josie Jump is my name.
11:40Dancing and sports are my games
11:44I'm always feeling rhythm
11:46It jingles in my toes
11:48It tingles through my body
11:50Come on and have a go
11:57Ah, Josie, I'm glad you've come
11:59What's the problem, Archie?
12:01Well, it all started this morning when I saw my reflection in a puddle
12:07I went straight to the nursery to see Miss Hooley to tell her about it
12:11I took Miss Hooley outside and showed her the puddle and told her about my idea for a reflecting machine
12:16She was looking forward to seeing the machine and playing a game with it later
12:21So I went to the shop to find things which reflect to make my machine
12:25Susie and I found lots of reflecting things
12:28But it was Penny who gave me the idea for using a bike mirror for my invention
12:33At home, I built a reflecting machine using a mirror, bucket and mop
12:38But I couldn't think of a game to play using it
12:40And I have to get back to the nursery soon
12:44So that's why I called you, Josie
12:45I thought you might be able to help
12:47Is that your machine?
12:49Oh, yes, it's rather a clever machine, actually
12:51Made it using this bike mirror here
12:53Really?
12:54Mm-hmm, and that's a mop
12:55Very clever
12:56And then this bucket enables me to angle it in any direction I want, you see
13:00So it does
13:05Ah, I see you found my Aunt Elsie's old hat
13:07Left it here last time she came to visit
13:09Suits you
13:10How did you know I was wearing your Aunt's hat?
13:12I can see your reflection in my invention
13:15Between your reflecting machine and your Aunt's hat
13:17I might have come up with a game
13:19You have?
13:20What is it?
13:21I'm keeping it under my hat till we get to the nursery
13:30Right Archie, tell us how to play your game
13:33I think it would be better if Josie explained it
13:35Okay Archie, you give me your reflecting machine
13:39Thank you, I'll just put this right up here
13:42And Miss Hoolie, you take my hat
13:44Thank you
13:47Okay
13:48The eye there is that I turn my back to you
13:50And try to spot you creeping up on me
13:53That'll be easy, children, won't it?
13:55Oh, not as easy as you think
13:57Because the person who is it will have this
14:00The other rule is that you have to have the pink hat on
14:04To tap me on the back
14:05But if I spot the hat with the reflecting machine
14:08I'll call pink hat, pink hat, you're out
14:12The first person to tap me on the back wins
14:15And gets a chance to be it
14:17Easy
14:19That's great Josie
14:20Let's play
14:27Yay
14:28Pink hat, cat, cat
14:34Yay
14:36And Josie, jump
14:38And the children
14:39Yay
14:46Yay
14:47Yay
14:48Yay
14:56Yay!
14:58Okay!
15:02Big hat, big hat!
15:03Yesss!
15:06You're big in!
15:08Look in the mirror!
15:10You gotta use the mirror!
15:12Yay!
15:14Ha ha ha!
15:16Ooh!
15:21You won't notice me!
15:28You won't see me!
15:32You won't notice me!
15:35Yay!
15:37Yay!
15:38Yay!
15:38Yay!
15:39Yay!
15:41Yay!
15:44Now, we're going to play a game of mirrors, so if I was looking into my mirror, you have
15:50to copy what I'm doing, okay?
15:52Do you want to copy what I'm doing?
15:53Do it nice and quiet.
16:19Oh, Archie, this was such a great game.
16:23Thank you, Missouli.
16:24I think it was a team effort.
16:26Bye, Archie!
16:36It's been a busy day in Balamori today.
16:39So, what was the story?
16:45Well, Archie came to the nursery with an exciting idea.
16:50He took me outside and showed me a puddle.
16:53He told me about his idea for inventing a reflecting machine.
16:59Archie went to the shop to find things to make his machine.
17:02He looked at lots of shiny things.
17:06But it was Penny who finally gave him the idea of using a bike mirror to make his machine.
17:12He built the machine, but he couldn't think of a game to play using it.
17:17So he called on Josie Jump.
17:20She made up a great game using Archie's machine and his aunt's hat.
17:26All the children loved the game.
17:28We even had time to play a mirror game, too.
17:31It was great fun.
17:36Simon says, time for you to go back into the cupboard.
17:42There you go.
17:45Oh, I wonder if that big puddle's still there outside.
17:49I'll see you soon.
17:51Bye!
17:52Bye!
17:52Bye!
18:00Bye!
18:01Bye!
