02:34I'd be there all day
02:38That's better
02:39I used my toothbrush to keep my teeth clean
02:43Ah!
02:44There's the school bus
02:45I wonder who will be coming to the Balamori nursery today?

03:36Yes, she is!
03:38And some paper
03:39That looks fab!
03:41That's magic!
03:42And some paper
03:44Oh!
03:46I can hear a visitor coming!
03:52I wonder who it can be?
03:54I'll just go and see
03:55Take in a sec
03:59Hello, Archie!
04:00Hello, Miss Hooley
04:01Hello, everybody
04:03Hello, Archie!
04:05What a nice surprise!
04:07Surprise, Miss Hooley?
04:08Surely you were expecting me?
04:09I don't think so
04:11Have you forgotten?
04:11Here to help the children with their science class
04:14But there isn't a science class today
04:16Yes, there is
04:17We're doing floating and sinking
04:19We've got everything that we need here in my bag
04:21A boat
04:24Ice cream carton
04:27Cork
04:28And a...
04:29Yogurt pot
04:30These all float
04:31Wait, wait
04:33Spoons
04:34Coins
04:36And...
04:37Stones
04:37These all sink
04:39Stop, Archie
04:40Stop!
04:41The floating and sinking experiment is tomorrow
04:44Not today
04:45You're wrong, Miss Hooley
04:46It's definitely today
04:47I checked it on my personal organiser this morning
04:49Your personal organiser?
04:51Whatever's that?
04:53My latest invention
04:55Guaranteed to ensure that I never ever miss another appointment again
04:59Now, there we are
05:02That's today
05:02That's today
05:03Look, green
05:04Shows quite clearly
05:05I should be helping with science at the nursery
05:08This is very impressive, Archie
05:10But I'm afraid that you've got the day wrong
05:12But my organiser's been designed so that it can't go wrong
05:16Let me have another look at it
05:18Ah, I see what's happened
05:20It's set for today instead of tomorrow
05:22I'll be able to sort it out in no time
05:24So if you aren't meant to be helping me
05:26What are you supposed to be doing?
05:27Uh, just let me reset the organiser
05:30Ah
05:37Meant to be playing football with Josie
05:40Right
05:43Archie
05:44Thank you
05:51Must dash, Miss Hooley
05:52Goodbye
05:54Bye, Archie
05:56I hope he makes it to his football gaming time
05:59So, which coloured house do you think Archie will visit first today?
06:09Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:15Well, there's part of the story in Balamoria's which is the house for me
06:21Is it yellow? Is it pink? Is it orange? What do you think?
06:26Is it red, green, blue or white? Which coloured house do you think is white?
06:38Which coloured house are we going to? Tell me what do you think?
06:44Which coloured house are we going to? Tell me what do you think?
06:49It's a yellow house!
06:51Yes, it's the yellow house because that's where Josie Jump lives
06:58Hello Josie, are you ready to play football?
07:00Golf?
07:00Shhh, I'm concentrating
07:08There, a hole in one
07:10Well, I'm certainly ready for my game of golf
07:14Golf?
07:15I thought that we were going to play football today Josie
07:17Look, I've been practising my skills
07:19Off there he goes
07:21Round the back of the defender
07:23He goes there
07:24He's just got the goalie to beat
07:25He shoots
07:26He scores
07:27It's a goal!
07:28Well, I'm glad to see you're keeping fit
07:30Catch!
07:32But we're not playing football today
07:33We were supposed to be playing yesterday
07:36I was very disappointed when you didn't turn up
07:38But I thought you must have been busy inventing
07:42I was
07:42I was inventing this
07:46My personal organiser
07:48It's exactly what I need to organise my very busy life
07:50Oh, that looks fantastic Archie
07:53But something must have gone wrong with it
07:55Because it's golf for me today
07:57Oh dear, oh dear
07:59I'm sure I had this organiser working perfectly
08:01Well, I'm sure it's just a case of a minor tweak here
08:05Twist it there
08:07And there we are
08:08Hey presto!
08:10Now, there's the picture of you in the football
08:12And...
08:13Oh
08:14Oh, you were right Josie
08:15It was yesterday
08:16Look, there's yellow
08:18I'm so sorry
08:19It's okay Archie
08:21But that must mean you're doing something else today
08:28I'm meant to be doing my laundry
08:29Oh, I shouldn't be out visiting at all today
08:31I should be washing my clothes
08:33Gosh, better dash
08:34Good luck with the golf
08:35Hope you get a real hole in one
08:46Oh dear, oh dear
08:47Oh dear, oh dear
08:48Well, never mind
08:50Always going to be a few hitches and glitches
08:52With a complicated invention like a personal organiser
08:56Still, it really will make my life a lot easier
08:58Never again will I forget where I'm meant to be
09:00Or what I'm meant to be doing
09:01Like doing my laundry today
09:04Oh
09:05Well, where are my clothes?
09:10Not in there
09:15Behind here?
09:17Behind here?
09:21Behind here?
09:23Behind here?
09:24Where could they be?
09:26Ah, here they are.
09:29But, but, they're already washed and folded.
09:34I must have done them already.
09:36I remember.
09:38I did them yesterday.
09:41So what am I meant to be doing?
09:44Where should I really be?
09:49Of course.
09:51I've got an appointment at the dentist.
09:53I should be there any minute.
09:55Who can help me get there?
09:58I know.
09:59Edie McCready.
10:10I'm Edie McCready.
10:12I love to drive.
10:13Hop aboard my bus.
10:15Enjoy the ride.
10:17Doors are open.
10:19So step inside.
10:21It's the day to have some fun.
10:23Plenty of room for everyone when I honk my horn.
10:29Step inside.
10:31Step inside.
10:32Now if you can't sit still, then hold on tight.
10:36We're rolling down the room.
10:39If there's traffic, ding-a-ling.
10:41Got a song we love to sing.
10:43Rolling down the room.
10:45If you need to find somewhere, I can take you there.
10:53I've been to places to never know.
10:55From the hot desert sand to the cold arctic snow.
10:59When I honk my horn.
11:01Step inside.
11:03Step inside.
11:04If something breaks, it doesn't matter.
11:07I can fix it with my spanner.
11:08We'll be rolling down the road.
11:11If the tires are looking flat, I can fix them just like that.
11:15We're rolling down the road.
11:18Anything I can mend.
11:21I'll be just around the bend.
11:24Just for Edie.
11:25Call on Edie.
11:26Edie McCready.
11:28Edie McCready.
11:29Call on Edie.
11:30Edie McCready.
11:31Just call Edie.
11:32Ooh.
11:34Me-he-he.
11:39Oh, Edie.
11:40I'm in a terrible rush.
11:42I really, really need your help.
11:44Oh, actually, I need your help too.
11:46You've arrived at just the right moment.
11:48Now, I want you to stand on this
11:51while I test and see if it's working.
11:52But you don't understand.
11:55Oh, yes, I do.
11:56I've been working on this all morning.
11:59I'm not talking about your jack.
12:00I'm talking about...
12:01Ooh.
12:03Oh, this is fun.
12:05Up and up.
12:06Up and up.
12:07It's like being on a seesaw or in a lift
12:10or in a chair at the dentist.
12:12Oh, Edie.
12:13Oh, I'm in real trouble.
12:15What's the story in Balamori?
12:21I took a whole bag of interesting things to the nursery
12:24for the children to do some floating and sinking experiments.
12:27But Miss Hooley said I wasn't due there until tomorrow.
12:30I checked my new personal organiser
12:32and discovered that I was really meant to be playing football with Josie.
12:36When I got to Josie's house,
12:37she was about to go out and play golf.
12:39I looked at my personal organiser once more
12:41and I realised that I'd got it wrong again
12:44and that actually I was supposed to be doing my washing.
12:49So I went home and looked everywhere for my laundry
12:51then realised that I'd already done it yesterday.
12:54I consulted my organiser one more time
12:57and it told me that I was really meant to be at the dentist.
13:03I know I can't get there on time without your help, Edie,
13:05so will you please, please give me a lift?
13:09Oh! Oh! Oh!
13:12Of course, Archie!
13:14What are we waiting for?
13:16Come on, let's hop on board.
13:31Oh! Just me!
13:33Thank goodness.
13:34Hate to miss an appointment at the dentist.
13:36I love having my teeth cleaned.
13:37You there too, Christopher and Shannon?
13:39Yeah.
13:39Oh, don't you just love all the fantastic machines they've got here?
13:43My favourite is that chair that goes up and down, eh?
13:46Vrrr, vrrr, up and down, eh?
13:49You'd like to come through now, Shannon?
13:51Archie, will you take Shannon in with you
13:52while I watch Christopher?
13:54Oh, certainly.
13:56Right.
13:59Hi, Shannon.
14:01How are you doing?
14:02Take a seat, makes it feel comfy.
14:04Oh, lucky you, Shannon.
14:05You get to go in the chair first.
14:07That's what we're going to do today, Shannon.
14:09Have a look at your teeth today.
14:10Maybe count your teeth and maybe give them a little polish.
14:13That'd be lovely.
14:13So let's put the chair back.
14:16If you want to put your head back, Shannon,
14:18makes it feel comfy.
14:20It's a very nice chair, isn't it?
14:22So, what we'll do first,
14:23we'll count your teeth first,
14:25don't we?
14:25So that we can tell the nurse and my teeth you have, okay?
14:29Let's have a look.
14:30Up at the top,
14:31on the left-hand side,
14:31there's one, two, three, four, five.
14:35And the top right-hand side,
14:37there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
14:41They're really nice.
14:43They're so nice.
14:44I'd like to give them a polish.
14:46Would that be okay?
14:47Good stuff.
14:50I've got my wee polishing brush here.
14:53I'll show you how it works on your finger.
14:55Can you imagine you?
14:56This nails your tooth.
14:58We'll give it a wee polish, really.
14:59Just gentle polish.
15:01How's that?
15:02Is that comfy?
15:03So, we'll try that on your tooth.
15:04We'll give it a nice shine, will we?
15:08Lovely polish.
15:11Very lovely, Shannon.
15:12Come on, man.
15:15I'll probably see all the front ones here at the top.
15:18That's you.
15:19How was that?
15:20Okay.
15:21I'll put you up again.
15:23There we go.
15:27That's you, finished.
15:28Come out of here now.
15:30Well, why not?
15:30Make yourself comfortable.
15:35Here.
15:38Do you know how many teeth you have?
15:40Oh, I...
15:42Top and bottom, uh, number 30.
15:44Yeah, number 30's close.
15:50Right, let's have a wee polish.
15:59How's that feel, Archie?
16:00Is that okay?
16:05Lovely, Archie.
16:06Lovely.
16:07They look nice.
16:08Lovely.
16:08Thanks very much.
16:09Can I pop you up there?
16:10Open it, please.
16:11There we are.
16:13Oh.
16:13Well, that actually looks like you're a very good patient.
16:15Oh, thank you, yes.
16:16I feel lovely and clean.
16:28So, what was the story in Balamory today?
16:34Well...
16:38Archie thought he was helping with the science class at the nursery today, so he arrived with
16:43a big bag full of things for floating and sinking.
16:46But I told him he'd got the wrong day and that the science class was tomorrow.
16:52Archie checked his brand new personal organiser that he'd just invented and realised there was a wee hitch and that
16:59he should have been playing football with Josie.
17:03When he arrived at Josie's, she was off to play golf because football was the day before.
17:09Another wee hitch on his new organiser.
17:12Archie discovered that in fact he should be at home doing his laundry.
17:17He rushed home and hunted high and low for all his clothes.
17:21But then he saw them neatly folded on the chair.
17:24He'd done his laundry already.
17:27Archie looked at his organiser once more and at last realised where he should have been.
17:32At the dentist.
17:36Luckily, Edie was able to give him a lift.
17:39And at the dentist, Archie met Shannon, Christopher and his mum.
17:43And had a great time having his teeth cleaned.
17:46He even got a new toothbrush to take home.
17:52And that was the story in Balamory.
17:55We've painted some great pictures with combs in the nursery.
17:59You could paint pictures like these with your old toothbrushes too.
18:05But I think I'll take my new toothbrush home to brush my teeth with.
18:10I'll see you soon.
18:12Bye.
18:26Balamory, Balamory
18:28What's the story in Balamory?
18:30Wouldn't you like to know?
18:31What's the story in Balamory?
18:34Won't you like to go?
18:42Balamory
18:47What's the story in Balamory?
18:49Wouldn't you like to know?
18:56Balamory
18:58What's the story of Balamori? Would you like to know?
19:02What's the story of Balamori? Tell us where people go!
