00:00So the big news coming in from West Asia.
00:02What appears to be a draft peace deal has been signed by the US President and the Iranian President.
00:07And one of the reasons for that is remember that while the big one of the announcement and the signature
00:14was expected on Friday,
00:15but it appears the one that happened today in itself could be seen as the one as final.
00:20Now the US President also adding that this deal that has been signed will possibly end the conflict between the
00:26two countries.
00:26But the fine print appears that for now it may not really bring a ceasefire completely.
00:33The White House has published a video of the signing with the French President Emmanuel Macron by his side at
00:38the dinner table.
00:39This was during the agreement that was signed during the dinner at the Palace of Versailles in France.
00:45Trump officially signed a hard copy of the agreement.
00:47President Trump then told the reporters he's signed the Iran Memorandum of Understanding as he departed the Palace following the
00:54dinner.
00:54President of Iran, Mazoud Peshkin and his US counterpart Trump signed the MOU between Tehran and Washington digitally and remotely.
01:02Iran then released a picture of Peshkin showing signatures of Trump and himself on the deal, putting an end to
01:09West Asia conflict.
01:12Do you sign the deal?
01:14If you sign the MOU, get signed here.
01:21You signed the deal? Did you sign the MOU?
01:26You signed the deal? Did you sign the MOU?
01:41Chris you said you don't mind Iran having ballistic missiles. Can you elaborate on
01:46I want to make you understand your decision.
01:48No, I'm saying that if other countries have them, it's a little bit unfair for them not to have some.
01:55A ballistic missile is not the same thing as what we're talking about, when we talk nuclear.
01:59But if Saudi Arabia and Qatar and they all have some, I would say, in relative proportion, I think it's
02:07okay. That's what I mean.
02:08The answer is that it's basically an answer.
02:14But nowadays, the answer is not the answer.
02:20It's a point of view.
02:21I think it's important to me.
02:25It's a point that it can be completely fine with English language.
02:30In this period of 60 days, we have no need to move forward to the security of the government in
02:39the region.
02:40If it is not possible, if it is not possible, we have no need to move forward.
02:46And in this way, we have no need to move forward to the security of Iran.
02:49In terms of the security of Iran, there is no need to talk about any other side.
02:58So what does it mean?
03:20but she is a,
03:23sorry,
03:24sorry,
03:24I thought about was I'm a college.
03:27So what does it really mean when we say that a peace deal has been signed at least this
03:32one that in France first is the focus is straight of hormones.
03:36What does that mean?
03:37US will likely lift the naval blockade within the next 30 days.
03:41And if that happens,
03:42that means imagine the backlog of the past few years that will possibly be
03:46released.
03:47America says it will withdraw nearby forces as well that have been
03:50deployed whether in sea or on land after the final deal. Now the final deal of course has to be
03:56also
03:56implemented first. Now importantly apart from this remember that there is a fine print in that deal
04:01according to that Iran will ensure free commercial shipping for 60 days. There is of course a tariff
04:07that Iran has expected over the past few months could that also come into play. We're also looking
04:12at especially as we talk about the street of Hormuz about the significance of how shipping
04:17through Hormuz can fully resume. That of course will be the big focus because this is about several
04:22other nations as well where their vessels either are stuck with the backlog or their seafarers are
04:27in danger. Iran, Oman and Gulf states to discuss the straight management because the straight remember
04:33is not just about Iran. There is Oman, there are other Gulf countries and they all claim that part
04:38of the straight is under their supervision and they hold sway while Iran believes they have the maximum
04:43supervision. Let's take a look another key focus would be Lebanon because previously despite a
04:49certain understanding and agreement Lebanon, Beirut especially continued to be pounded by Israel
04:54because it believed it was not part of the ceasefire deal. Respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and
05:00territorial integrity will also now be placed beforehand and that focus possibly could bring a bigger
05:06ceasefire. We're also looking at the final deal to formalize the end of hostilities and then end the war
05:12in Lebanon because while other countries especially US and Iran took a step back, Israel and Lebanon and
05:19the forces continued to be pounding each other. So this is where the focus has been about what precisely
05:27what this peace deal could mean and therefore remember all of this while has been signed between
05:34United States of America and Iran, the focus remains Israel because in many ways Israel will have to
05:40decide whether it wants to go ahead and pound Beirut or Lebanon even now and other areas like Gaza,
05:47West Bank or how does it decide to really protect itself from the countries around that are targeting Israel.
