00:00But now they've gone too far.
00:02You know, they've made it too damn hard,
00:05and people that have everything to lose are getting on the line.
00:08They are stepping up.
00:10And, you know, I'm telling people across this country,
00:13this movement that's happening in Maine,
00:16you know, the fact that so many people show up on a Wednesday night,
00:19you know, to hear a guy talk from Allagash,
00:21I mean, that's not about Troy Jackson.
00:23That's about the issues that are affecting all of us,
00:26and we're not going to stand for it anymore.
00:40And so, you know, somewhere after that border blockade,
00:46I figured out that, you know, maybe I wasn't very good at many things,
00:51but what I was good at was not being afraid to stand up
00:54and fight back against the people that had the power and influence.
01:05And so now I'm putting that theory to the test.
01:12You know, power and influence like I've probably never felt ever before.
01:18People that are billionaires, multiple billionaires,
01:22that want to keep things the way they are.
01:25They want to keep Susan Collins, who votes 96% of the time with Donald Trump,
01:30gives them their tax breaks, takes away our health care,
01:33takes away our medical system here in Maine.
01:36I mean, it was tough enough as it was,
01:38but now we're watching birthing centers closing all across the state,
01:42hospitals closing, nursing homes, and it's going to get worse, you know.
01:46And they want it that way because, again, they keep us in line.
01:50And I'm just sick and tired of, you know, having that happen.
01:55They get all the breaks, and this race is about changing that.
01:58But from here until November, you know, you're going to see a whole lot of me,
02:02and I have to because I want to make sure that people know exactly what, you know,
02:09I believe in and what I stand for and how we can make that change.
02:13I keep talking about, you know, solidarity being not just a word, a lifestyle,
02:19and how there's more of us in this state and in this country
02:22that deserve a different government than we have right now.
02:25And I feel, like, incredibly inspired by that, that, you know,
02:29finally for what seemed like all of my life I've been waiting for a moment like this.
02:35And I never really thought it would be me,
02:38and I still don't think it's going to be me, like, as far as it's us.
02:42You know, I mean, that really is what...
