00:00You know, it's funny, you know, here in New York, because the Knicks are on this magical run, and the
00:03parade is tomorrow.
00:05The Knicks did us a service, and obviously, if you're outside of New York, other than San Antonio, because the
00:09Spurs did, I think, fans, in San Antonio.
00:12By the way, San Antonio is the fourth largest market that watches this show in the world.
00:17Shout out.
00:18New York, number one, Philadelphia, number two, Houston, number three.
00:21And San Antonio is the fourth biggest audience we have.
00:25Millions and millions of people watch us in San Antonio, so I know you're watching right now.
00:29And I know you feel the same way, other than losing to the Knicks in five games and having a
00:34dirty, filthy Frenchman as your best player, who's never going to make a big shot because he doesn't have the
00:39clutch gene.
00:40So while he might be the face of the league, he's going to be more like, I don't know, like
00:44a John Stockton face of the league, a Charles Barkley face of the league, a Karl Malone face of the
00:49league.
00:49Charles Barkley made big shots.
00:50The type of guy that's great, but doesn't make big shots and doesn't win championships.
00:54And for everybody that thinks the Spurs now going on this legendary run of championships, you still playing the same
01:00conference as the Thunder do.
01:02And while you beat the Thunder this past year, and it was a great win for you to advance to
01:06the finals, you're not beating the Thunder routinely when it comes to postseason basketball.
01:11Well, we'll see.
01:12So you got to win one before you win five.
01:14So just remember that.
01:15And while they're going to be very, very good for a long time, we've seen a lot of very, very
01:19good teams.
01:20I think the San Antonio Spurs, and I give this a lot of thoughts, Tyrone.
01:25This is not clickbait.
01:26This is not desperate for attention.
01:29This show has done over half a billion views since we started it.
01:32That's true.
01:33I just want to put that out there.
01:34So I don't need more attention.
01:35I get plenty of attention just being the handsome guy that I am, okay?
01:39Uh-huh.
01:39And I put the work in, all right?
01:41But the San Antonio Spurs, I think, are going to be this generation's Cleveland Cavaliers of the 90s.
01:52Now, let me just walk you through the early 90s to mid-90s Cleveland Cavaliers, okay?
01:57Okay.
01:58We're talking about Brad Daugherty at center.
02:00We're talking about Larry Nance, power forward.
02:03Yeah.
02:03We're talking about Craig Elo.
02:05Not great, but you know who he is.
02:07Mark Price.
02:07Mark Price, one of the most underappreciated point guards in the history of basketball.
02:13A pure point guard.
02:13Danny Ferry was on that team.
02:15Later on.
02:16As well, obviously, as a young player.
02:18Harper pre-injury was a dog.
02:20Harper was there.
02:20Was a dog pre-injury.
02:21John Battle was on that team.
02:23Yeah, I remember them.
02:23All right.
02:24Mike Sanders was on that team.
02:26That was a damn good basketball team.
02:28I guess.
02:28It was good enough, if not for Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and the Bulls, to win multiple championships.
02:35And every year, they were a lock, worst-case scenario, to get to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
02:41And then depending on when they had to play the Bulls, that's when their run came to an end, okay?
02:47Uh-huh.
02:48That's what the San Antonio Spurs are.
02:50They're a damn good basketball team.
02:53Probably good enough to win a championship one day.
02:56Their problem is going to be the Thunder in the West and obviously the Knicks in the East.
03:01There's a chance they go down in history as the greatest team to never win a championship.
