00:00I want to talk about Wemby for a minute, okay?
00:02So the NBA decides not to retroactively give him the flagrant
00:05after shoving Brunson to the ground,
00:07the most talked about non-call in the NBA this season.
00:11And we all get pissed off about that as Knick fans.
00:13Then, to be fair, I thought there was, again,
00:16some egregious officiating in the first half of the game,
00:18not in the second half where they swallowed their whistles
00:20to a certain extent and let them play more
00:23than they did in the first half.
00:24So Wemby at one point does, I thought it was accidental as well,
00:29but he still did it.
00:30He elbows Cat in the jaw.
00:32Cat goes down.
00:34I give the refs credit on this.
00:35They did what they're supposed to do.
00:37They review it.
00:38You can't argue if it did or didn't happen
00:40because it clearly happened,
00:41even though Wemby tried to make sure that Cat was okay afterwards.
00:45I don't think it was intentional.
00:46I did not think that one was intentional.
00:48But it's a flagrant foul.
00:49And they called it.
00:50And they called it flagrant one.
00:52And so, obviously, if they had given the Knicks
00:54the flagrant foul on the Brunson play in game three,
00:59Wemby would be out of the next game.
01:01He would have reached the limit and then crossed the threshold.
01:04He would not play in game five because of what happened last night.
01:08Here's what it sets up now, though.
01:10The next flagrant foul he gets called for,
01:13he is suspended for a game.
01:15He will miss the next game.
01:17So that obviously is a side story now going in to game five in San Antonio.
01:21But there's a narrative now that's being debated amongst basketball fans
01:26regarding Wemby, the future face, for sure, of the NBA,
01:30and he's being treated like he is already.
01:32Is he or is he not a dirty player?
01:35Obviously, the elbow to Nas Reed's face in the Minnesota Timberwolves series.
01:39They called that.
01:40He called it flagrant two.
01:41Got ejected.
01:43Missed the game because of it.
01:44Rightfully so.
01:45I thought what he did against Brunson should have been at minimum a flagrant one.
01:49And obviously, they do call the flagrant one on him last night.
01:53But there is a video that is now going viral on the Internet.
01:57And I believe it's at the very end of the first half.
02:00That's what this play is, okay?
02:03I'm going to let you see it.
02:04And let's just watch it together kind of naked without me commenting on it.
02:09And then you tell me, Tyrone, as a guy that does not like the Knicks
02:13but did pick them to win, if this is a basketball play,
02:17if this is acceptable, and or if this is a dirty play,
02:22and I don't want to overstate it,
02:24I think this play, if his foot's a few inches to the left,
02:29could have ended O.J. Adonobi's career.
02:31That's how dirty I think this play is.
02:33Well, you said you were going to say watch it clean, and then you say that.
02:35Well, I just wanted to set it up for you.
02:37That's not setting it up.
02:38Now let's watch it clean without commentary.
02:41Go full screen on this, guys, if you can.
02:43I want people to see this.
02:45Watch Wemby right here.
02:49Now, can you guys slow that down if we do not have that ability?
02:52I don't think they can do that.
02:53All right, play it again.
02:54It's fine.
02:55Just play it again.
02:55I want you to see what Wemby tries to do here to O.J. Adonobi.
02:59I don't know.
02:59All right, he's being guarded by Sean there.
03:01What is that?
03:03His legs are clearly outside.
03:05That is an attempt to come down with his left foot on the knee
03:09of O.J. Adonobi.
03:11No, it's not.
03:11How is this a basketball player?
03:13You'll see.
03:14Let's watch it again.
03:14He goes on.
03:15Hi-yah.
03:15No, look.
03:16That's where it freezes, right?
03:17But he's to the left of him.
03:19That's a basketball play?
03:21Yes.
03:21The problem is from that angle.
03:23Hold on.
03:23Lifting up your foot.
03:24Yes.
03:25And trying to come down.
03:26Well, you're seven foot five.
03:28He's not trying to come down on him.
03:29He's trying to straddle.
03:30Be better than that.
03:31He's not.
03:31He's trying to make a basically set to pick for his guy.
03:34Be better than that.
03:35No.
03:36His left foot is behind O.J.
03:38It is.
03:39I swear it is.
03:40You'll see when he lands.
03:41Run it again.
03:42Run it again.
03:43I've never been so disappointed in you in my entire life.
03:45He's trying to set a pick, man.
03:46I know it was you, Fredo.
03:48No, it wasn't.
03:48I know it was you.
03:49This is ridiculous with the Fredo.
03:49You disappointed me today, Fredo.
03:51No, no, no.
03:51This is going too far.
03:53Yes, yes.
03:53We know what he does wrong.
03:54Look.
03:55He ends up, he's trying to set the pick.
03:57And then when he does it, yes, he goes on the outside of his body.
04:00There's no pick being set.
04:02Yes, he was going to set the pick, and Fox didn't do it.
04:04Play it again.
04:04You'll see.
04:05His left foot is behind O.J.
04:07Oh, you have to stop that, Fredo.
04:09He's behind him.
04:10Hi-ya.
04:11How's it?
04:11Hi-ya.
04:12Hi-ya.
04:12He's behind him to kick him from behind.
04:14It's a – here.
04:15Let me – let me play –
04:16This is malarkey.
04:17Let me play defense.
04:18Hi-ya.
04:19He did hi-ya.
04:20Yes.
04:20Listen, are you going to ask me, does a 22-year-old 7'5 guy run like a baby deer?
04:25Yes.
04:25He runs like a baby deer, and that's part of the problem.
04:28But do I think he intentionally tried to end his career?
04:31No.
04:31I think he tried to end O.J.'s career right there.
04:33No, he did not.
04:34And thank God he missed him.
04:35He didn't miss him.
04:37He didn't try to hit him.
04:38If that foot connects with the side of O.J.'s knee, that's a torn ACL.
04:41First of all –
04:42O.J. never walks again.
04:43He gets – first of all, he might not have torn anything.
04:45I don't know.
04:46Never walks again.
04:46And I'd be all fine if he kicked him on purpose.
04:48If you arrested Wemby, he tried to go behind him to be on the straddle.
04:52From now on, your name on this show is Bredo.
04:54No, you can't do the Bredo.
04:55Bredo.
04:55I won't stand for him.
04:57You are Bredo on this show.
04:57First of all, that's not true, okay?
05:00I'm at worst, Sonny.
05:01At worst, Sonny.
05:03And I've always fashioned myself as my –
05:05Yeah, I got a toll booth for you to come drive through if you want.
05:09So that's the dirtiness right there.
05:11No, it wasn't dirty.
05:11Of Wemby, I'm a mama.
05:13I'll tell you what was dirty.
05:14Go ahead.
05:14I'll tell you what was dirty.
05:15You got 30 seconds?
05:16Yeah, I'll tell you what was dirty once again.
05:18Mitch Johnson's coaching.
05:19What the hell are you doing, Mitch?
05:21Mitch, please.
05:23I remember Exhibit said, Mitch, please, you must have a mental disease.
05:27You do.
05:28If you don't do better, I don't think they can have you back.
05:31We got much more show coming your way.
05:33Including the shot heard around the world and the tip-in that changed everything.
05:39I was so content of his in the first place that he looked for.
05:39wasn't the hat.
