00:00Another play that happened last night that was interesting was when Josh Hart made a bucket layup
00:05and then as he's coming down and collecting himself, Cornette comes over and in real time, to be fair,
00:12I thought he shoved him to the ground. The replay indicated he didn't shove him.
00:17He made unnecessary contact, but I would probably say there was not a technical foul there,
00:22but I want to be fair. Real time, I thought he shoved him because the way Josh Hart fell
00:26in the replay, body makes contact, but it looks like he's trying to grab the basketball
00:31to maybe start an inbounds play quicker. Josh Hart gets up, rightfully so pissed off
00:37because he feels like he got pushed in a dangerous play, and pushes Cornette two hands to his chest.
00:43Obviously, the way the officials are officiating this series, technical foul on Josh Hart,
00:49no foul called on Cornette, right? Now, alone, we could debate that.
00:54Was it a shove? Was it not a shove? I'm being, I think, very honest about it.
00:57I thought in real time he shoved him. After the replay, I don't think he shoved him.
01:01No, I think he was just going to get the ball.
01:03Yeah, I agree, but not in real time. In real time, because it's so fast,
01:06it looks like Josh Hart gets shoved three feet to the ground.
01:09I don't think that's the case after the fact, okay?
01:12But no one's talking about it. As much as Nick fans today are going to complain all day
01:17about the officiating, and I do think there are two or three or four non-calls or calls
01:22that you have the right to gripe about. There's not a single Nick fan on the planet
01:27that has yet to acknowledge, nor has there been any objective media coverage
01:32of what I'm about to say. So we're going to be first, sir.
01:35Unfortunately, we don't have the rights or the ability to show it to you.
01:38Right.
01:39So you're going to have to take my word for it, okay?
01:41Uh-huh.
01:43When Josh Hart gets knocked to the ground and jumps up and shoves Luke Cornett with
01:48two ends to his chest and gets the technical foul, did you happen to notice what happened?
01:55Say no, and I'm going to tell you anything.
01:56No, no.
01:57Okay?
01:57No, I'm trying to think because when they showed it, because remember, I think they went
02:01to brick. They did because they came back and then someone was shooting the technical
02:05I'm going to show you anyway, and I'm not going to show you. I'm going to tell you.
02:08Yeah, what happened?
02:09Now downstairs, Ryan, if you can get a still shot of it, great. I probably should have
02:11answered before the show, but you're not a good communicator, so I didn't. Plus, I was
02:15distracted by your LGBT Pride sneakers, which I think are hot.
02:20Oh, I didn't know you had those. Oh, good for him.
02:21And if I knew they existed, I'd probably get a pair.
02:23Oh.
02:24In any event, when Hart gets up and shoves Cornett with the two hands, Jose Alvarado, OG Ananobi,
02:34and two other bench players on the Knicks, including Jordan Clarkson.
02:38They came on the floor.
02:38Come off the bench, come onto the floor to try to separate Josh Hart from Luke Cornett.
02:45Now, I know that they're in a peacemaking capability. I get that.
02:48But the rule.
02:49You're not allowed to.
02:50Right, that goes back to.
02:51That's the Heat Knicks from 20 years ago.
02:53And then Amari got suspended against the Spurs, and Amari Stoudemire was with Fetus, got suspended
02:58for an important playoff game.
02:59You want to go letter of the law.
03:01And we're all bitching today that Wembe's not called for the flagrant Fallon Brunson.
03:05And he should have been.
03:06And we're right on that.
03:07Yep, should have been.
03:07That's a fair complaint.
03:08100%.
03:09But if we're going to yell at the officials for missing something obvious, Alvarado, who's
03:14been a key player for the Knicks this entire postseason.
03:16He would be suspended.
03:18OG Ananobi.
03:19He would be suspended.
03:20Who had 28 points last night, and we need him, obviously.
03:23One of our best players.
03:24He would be suspended.
03:25He gets kicked out of that game.
03:26Jordan Clarkson, who, by the way, had 10 points.
03:30He gets kicked out of the game.
03:32And I think D.O.R. was the fourth Nick.
03:34You don't care about that, but he also would be out.
03:38So, nobody has brought that up.
03:40It was not brought up on the broadcast.
03:42I have not seen it anywhere today.
03:45So, yes, we got screwed on the non-flagrant foul call that should have been called against
03:50Wembe.
03:51Nobody can argue against that.
03:52Right.
03:53But we dodged a major bullet, because coming off the bench is not just a suspension for
03:59the current game, and I think it would have stopped at that, but the NBA has the right
04:04then to review that and suspend you for another game.
04:07Now, there's peacemakers.
04:10They didn't touch Cornette.
04:12They were grabbing Hart, so that Hart didn't do something further stupid.
04:16Right.
04:16But they would have been ejected from last night's game.
