00:00I don't know what to make of the Phillies either.
00:02They're in St. Louis here tonight.
00:04And, I mean, help me out with this here.
00:07Painter, who is not a good pitcher on any level in any league anywhere, Tom.
00:12But they had nobody available in the bullpen last night.
00:17Because they've used everybody over the last week.
00:22And he gutted it out, the kid.
00:25I got to give him credit, man.
00:26And because he was going to be a sacrificial lamb out there.
00:30They were not, they weren't coming to go get him.
00:32So, it was one way or the other.
00:34Either you give up 20 runs or you hang in there and get us out of there.
00:39And he actually, he hung in there.
00:41Phillies got the win.
00:42I don't know how.
00:44But if that thing would have went to extra innings or would have went any further,
00:47we would have had position players pitching for Philadelphia.
00:51But they got the necessary rest.
00:53Now, Sanchez on the mound from Philadelphia.
00:57But I, do we, Sanchez ain't exactly all day.
01:02He's not missing a lot of bats anymore either here.
01:04And if that bullpen is that taxed, what do we do here, Tom?
01:11Really interesting spot for Chris Sanchez.
01:13Because how dominant he was at the beginning portion of the season where he goes,
01:17what was it, the entire month of May without giving up a single earned run.
01:21I think there's still people holding on to that, that Chris Sanchez can be that good.
01:25And he is a very, very good pitcher.
01:27But if they need him out there, I'm not worried about the Cardinals lineup.
01:31And that's what it comes down to.
01:33I'm really not worried about the Cardinals.
01:34I don't think too highly of them.
01:36I've been pretty low on them all season.
01:38So, to see him have to go out there for six and seven innings,
01:42I think could work for Sanchez getting over that five and a half profit.
01:45That's what people are looking to back tonight.
01:48Yeah, Palante, by the way, has been fantastic.
01:51His last three starts, I think, just three earned runs, 18 and two-thirds innings,
01:56pitched against the Cubs, the Reds, the Yankees.
01:59You know what he is?
02:00He's a ground ball pitcher, Tom, that keeps the ball.
02:04And he's perfect for Bush.
02:05I don't know that I'd be looking at the over.
02:08Is it seven and a half, I think, the total in this one here?
02:12It was nine last night, which you usually don't see at Bush Stadium
02:16because it's one of the more run-suppressing ballparks.
02:20But they got 11 last night.
02:22Yeah, it kind of – eight is the total here.
02:25Should – under?
02:26What are we thinking here?
02:28Yeah.
02:29I would say under.
02:30Again, I just don't think highly of the Cardinals' offense at all.
02:33And I'm high enough on Chris Sanchez that I think he can keep them in line
02:36to two, maybe three runs at most.
02:39And I'm not saying that the Phillies' offense is going to pour in a ton of runs,
02:43but 4-2 final, 4-1 final, 3-2 final, something like that.
02:51Nope.
02:52And I do not like, under any circumstances, the bullpen of the Cardinals either.
02:57No.
02:58So I think there could be – that could be where some of the runs come from.
03:01But Pellante's been very, very good, maybe even a first five under,
03:05maybe a bit of a pitcher's duel early on at Bush Stadium here tonight.
