00:01All right, hi people, it's Jayser. I'm here to do an amazing review for you guys today of the
00:05SH Figuarts Super Mario, technically Super Mario Bros. Mario and Luigi. These were released a while
00:11ago, probably a few years ago, but I finally got them because they were at my local Walmart.
00:17And yeah, these should not cost $38, by the way, they should cost like $30 or $25 at most. So,
00:25yeah, um, but, eh, wanted to get them because they look cool, and Luigi was the only one
00:33of the Luigis available there. They had a short ton of Marios, but like, only one Luigi. So yeah.
00:41Um, but yeah, so, here we go with the box for Mario. Uh, yeah, you can see the figure right
00:48here,
00:48the coin he comes with, the mushroom, and the box. He comes with a, uh, pipe, I believe as well,
00:55Goomba, shell, I don't think he comes with those. Um, but yeah, and then these, these right here,
01:02you see Mario in his, like, sleeping pose from the new Super Mario Bros. games, which is cool.
01:09Um, the logos and everything. Spy, or the other side right here, you can see Mario carrying the
01:16turtle shell, uh, the mushroom right here, blocks. So, yeah, the top, more blocks, the question mark
01:26boxes, and the coins, and the bottom, and the back, see all these pictures of him, and what he comes
01:38with,
01:38and everything. So, that's pretty cool. Um, so, yeah. So, yeah. Okay. So, let's just take a look at
01:52what Mario comes with. Uh, so, okay, so I didn't expect this. There's this platform here, or stand,
02:00uh, for when you want to pose Mario. Has his logo right there. That is really cool. I, I like
02:07that. Um,
02:16and yeah, it's just in this little plastic bag. Uh, usually, like, only figures that are, like,
02:23either special editions, or whatever, are released with these, but this is really cool that they, um,
02:29included this stand, uh, for him. Even though, realistically, I don't think he really needs
02:36him unless you want to pose him, like, jumping. But, yeah. So, here we go. With everything,
02:42with the figure and everything he comes with. You have Mario right here. A couple different hands.
02:48for, like, holding things and whatnot. The coin, which is pretty thin plastic, has a hole right there
02:57for the arm. Not the mushroom, which Mario's already in, like, his bigger form, so the,
03:07including the mushroom's a little pointless, but that's still really cool. Heftier weight,
03:13uh, on the, in the plastic, uh, on the, in the plastic, in the coin, and the question mark box
03:19for items, or power-ups. We got the arm right here, and then a thing for Mario's back, so you
03:32can
03:32clip it into him. See him. So, here we go with the figure parts of Mario. He does not come
03:42with a
03:43different face or head. It kind of sucks that he doesn't, because he doesn't always have this
03:47expression, and it would be cool if you could change it. Like, I'm not asking for, like, a million
03:52faces or anything, but just one different one would be nice. Um, so, yeah. Uh, but I do like the
03:58level
03:59of detail that they have on him for, like, I'm assuming this is based on his model from the most
04:03recent games, so, yeah. So, let's go with the, or let's see about the, uh, uh, articulation. So,
04:15his, uh, his feet move back and forth like that. 360, um, oh, you can, yeah, because, uh, okay,
04:26so the ball joint here is pretty flexible, so you can pose him in different poses, I assume.
04:32There's no knee, or no toe joint like on other figure parts, which is a little bit of a shame,
04:37but I understand. Only a single ball joint for his knees, so, yeah. And his thighs for his legs can
04:46only move back and forth, have a little bit of an all-around kind of thing. So, yeah. Uh, he
04:54has,
04:56it looks like, uh, that's not even too, okay, so you can't really move his, um, his waist or anything,
05:03you can just move his, uh, legs back and forth. So, yeah. But, yeah, at least you can only really
05:12move forward and back. So, yeah. His arm, you can move in a 360 like this. Not even in a
05:19180,
05:19not even in a 90 degree angle. Uh, that sucks. But, yeah. Um, so, or not even a 180, but
05:27just not
05:28even a one night, a 90 degree angle. The, um, his elbows are on a single ball joint. His hands,
05:35you can move around like that. You can't really move them any other way.
05:42Yeah. Yeah. His head, can't move in a 360 because of how the body and his head are, are molded.
05:52Um, he can move his head a bit around, but, yeah. Yeah, very, because of how they did the body,
05:59which, granted, I don't know how you fix this problem, but, like, very limited movement on Mario's
06:05body. So, yeah. So, now Luigi. Um, so here we go with the front of the box. See, Luigi hopping
06:17out of a pipe. Um, we got Bandai Namco, S.H. Figuarts, Super Mario. We got the Goomba, the Red
06:25Shell,
06:26item box, the Mushroom, regular box. Um, so, yeah. And everything else on his box.
06:35Um, I imagine there's, like, more stuff you can get for, like, a set for these guys. But,
06:41yeah. It's got Mario and Luigi together. Luigi and more pictures of him. So, that's really
06:48cool. And maybe in the minority, I always liked Luigi more. Mainly, probably mainly because
06:52of the green. Green's my favorite color. So, yeah. So, here we go with Luigi. There's a green
07:06stand on the back of this, uh, tray. Right here. And there's more tape in there than the one
07:23from Mario's was. So, yeah. You got the stand. It has the L for Luigi, which is pretty cool.
07:45Alright. So, here we go with everything Luigi comes with. You got the figure, and you got
07:50the Red Shell, the, uh, brick. Or, no. Like, box you can break. Uh, two hands. These things,
08:01I assume, I assume, are for, like, poseability. What are these things even for? The arm for
08:08the stand. And this thing that flips into his back. So, yeah. Oh, there's plastic in the
08:18back of him. So, yeah. He's a little bit taller than Mario. So, that sticks out because he is
08:28the older brother. And so, yeah. They just made him taller. Separating from Mario. And
08:33also skinnier. But yeah. So, this should have a little bit better range of movement and poseability
08:39for the articulation. So, his shoes are the same as Mario's. But it looks like they have
08:45a little bit more, um, flexibility and poseability a bit. You can do him in a 360. There's no toe
08:51joints still. But that's whatever. Uh, probably because his legs are longer and not as thumpy
08:56as Mario's. Uh, his knees still on one single ball joint. Legs move back and forth. Can't
09:04really move them side to side. But you can just do that. Uh, oh, he's darker overalls. Like
09:10an 80 blue instead of just the royal blue that Mario has. I didn't notice that. Um, so, yeah.
09:17You have the arm, which can only move, like, in this kind of a way. Um, and then single
09:26ball joint for the elbow and for the hands. 360 and not really much else movement. Uh,
09:33yeah. So, his torso can't really move much either. His head move in a pretty good range,
09:39I would say. And you can do a 360 with his head because, well, his body's not getting in
09:45the way of movement. So, yeah. So, yeah, guys, uh, that's basically it for these two in regards
09:53to the posability and articulation parts of it. I think that they both look really good.
09:58Like, they actually hopped out of the video games and everything. And they tried their
10:01best to incorporate them into the SH VickyWarts style of, um, molding and articulation and everything.
10:09Unfortunately, they are hindered a little bit because of their base designs not really lending
10:14too well to these kinds of action figures. But, if you can ignore that and you can get
10:19them for a decent price, I would recommend them. Um, so, yeah. A little bit disappointed
10:23that we don't get different faces with them. But, eh. And on top of that, um, I'm just realizing
10:32now. Mario comes with three different things right here for the accessories. Uh, Luigi only
10:36comes with two. Why? And then whatever the hell these are supposed to be. Um, so, yeah.
10:47So, I assume that there's supposed to be, like, maybe a, maybe there's supposed to be a play
10:51set or an accessory set or something like that that has, like, more, like, platforms and stuff
10:56like that, like, or maybe other characters that were released in the SH VickyWarts line for
11:01Super Mario. But, I don't know. Um, but, yeah. So, yeah. There's really not much else
11:09to it other than that. Uh, again, I'd recommend them if you want to get them and you don't
11:14already, or if you don't already have them, uh, and you like Super Mario. Otherwise, it's
11:19up to you if you want to actually buy them or pass on them. But, yeah. So, guys, uh, really
11:25have much else to say. So, leave a subscription on my shit. Subscribe for once and I'll see
11:29you guys in the next one.
