00:01All right, hi, people. She's here, and I'm here to do an unboxing and review for you guys of the

00:06Memorial Best Selectional Pirates from Kaizook Sentai Gokaiger. So they re-released this thing

00:14last year for the 50th anniversary of Super Sentai with the four extra team names after

00:27Zenkaiger and everything. I cannot, for the life of me, however, find the Ranger keys from

00:38the sets that I got that were released between 2021 and now, or 2022, actually, I think, and now,

00:48uh, that had, um, Dawn Brothers, uh, uh, what was the team? It was Dawn Brothers, uh, and whatever, um,

01:04so yeah, those, those three other teams. So, yeah, I do have the Boon Boonjer keys, um, but yeah, I

01:12thought

01:12I put all of those keys in the same box as the other, uh, one flip keys, but nope. Uh,

01:19so I just,

01:20I, yeah, I don't know where the hell they went. Um, I may have left them in the, um, boxes

01:28that they

01:29were originally in, but I don't know why I'd do that. I need to look, but yeah, and I really

01:35did try

01:35to look all over for them, but yeah, and it's weird, because I don't know where the box, the Ranger

01:42key

01:42boxes went either, um, which is concerning, but yeah. So, yeah, let's, um, let's get to this.

01:55Uh, I couldn't put off, like, filming this video any longer, because I just wanted to do it, and yeah,

02:01luckily, you can just enter the codes for the teams, but yeah. Um, so here we go. This doesn't

02:10have the big fancy box that this originally came in, because I ordered this from Tuck Delectables,

02:15and basically why I didn't get the original release of this is for one, money, but then when the pre

02:23-order

02:24was up, but then also, um, I, uh, it also, um, had a defect where the sticker that says

02:38Gokaiger was upside down for some reason on all of them, and Bandai said that they were

02:45going to replace those. So, yeah, so I ordered this from Tuck Delectables for 50 bucks after

02:51shipping, and, um, they, uh, yeah, I guess that they got more than maybe they needed, or

02:58more than, like, people were caring to, like, tell them, or get them a replacement for, so,

03:08yeah. Um, so I just ordered this, and this is completely fine, so yeah, so yeah, it doesn't

03:14have the big box, because, um, well, only people, really, that ordered this, or that ordered the

03:22original version that they released last year were supposed to get these, but yeah. Um,

03:28I'm so glad I was able to just get this. Um, I don't really care to have the box, I'll

03:32be

03:32completely honest, but yeah. So, it is just using the, um, the molding from the, technically

03:41this was released in early 2022, but 2021 version, um, as you guys can see, and it also still has

03:49the, um, the same, like, coloring and everything, the same texturing, all the screw holes are filled

03:57in, there's no copyright stuff at the bottom, so it is pretty much truly a crop replica,

04:02at this point. Okay, so this is still on. Um, this will basically just become a display piece,

04:10at this point, but yeah, so we got this, so, yeah. So, as per usual, you open up the back

04:20compartment here by pressing this thing down, with, like, a paper clip, or a pen, or something,

04:28and you bring this down, and you bring this down, and there's the battery compartment with the on-off

04:32switch. I got a couple of batteries, um, takes two AAAs, as per use, and, um, yeah, um, and basically,

04:46um, these specific batteries I actually got one in Japan. Batteries are surprisingly very cheap

04:55in Japan. I don't know why. Do they produce them in Japan, or what? Because, like, for some reason,

05:04like, I got, like, I think 20 of these for, like, a thousand yen or so, so.

05:10So, yeah, I see, flip that on, and it's good to go. So, it has all of the, um, same

05:17functionality

05:17as the 2021 version, except they took out, because the actor was an asshole, and decided to rip off

05:26some old people by getting, by dressing up as a policeman, and getting their bank cards,

05:31and withdrawing about a million yen, actually, I think it was over a million yen, from their bank

05:37accounts. Um, he got, uh, put on trial, put in prison. He is supposed to be able to be released

05:46next year. I hope he doesn't, because fuck him. Um, but, yeah, I said it was the actor-played guy,

05:53right, in, in, uh, in Gokaiger. If not, it was the actor-played guy in Gokaiger. Don't know why he

06:00did it. It was really fucking stupid, but, yeah, this was back in 2023, I think, or 2024, but, yeah.

06:05Yeah. So, they took out all of the functionality and voice recordings that he did for the Mobirots.

06:11Um, if they ever re-release the, um, Gokai Cellular, I imagine they'll take out all of his

06:18voice lines for that, as well. And they didn't really replace them, as far as I can tell, with this.

06:23Um, they just still had this, the sounds that did not involve him, which means that they still have

06:28the voice, or, uh, yeah, the voice recordings from the first episode of Gokaiger, where the Gokaigers

06:34make their stand. But I don't think that they have the one from the last episode, where they

06:38say it again. But, with the, but this time with Guy, um, adding on to it. And I think slightly

06:45different lines, but, yeah. So, I'm not gonna play those again. If you wanna hear those, um,

06:51go to my review of the 2021 version. So, yeah. Um, the only new sounds in this are the ones

07:01for the teams after Gokaiger, I believe. Actually, no, I think from Gokaiger to Gojujur. Um, and they

07:09preemptively put a sound for Gojujur in here, I'm assuming because, for one, they didn't want to end

07:13up, like, what happened with, um, or actually, no, I think it was Don Brothers, actually. Because

07:17Don Brothers, I think, was announced and started airing at the time that they released the 2021

07:23version. So, um, so, yeah. So, they had sounds for Zenkaiger, I think. I need to, I need to

07:31remind myself of this.

07:37So, yeah. They did have those, because they were, they were planning to release keys for

07:44them. As well as the fact that it was the newest series at the time that was airing, when

07:49they were putting it together. This has, uh, everything from, uh, Don Brothers on.

08:10Right, King Oger.

08:26And we'll see if they announce a Memorial Key set for Gojujur. I would like if they did.

08:32I don't see them not doing it at some point in the next year. I don't see why they wouldn't

08:38do it. Um, but yeah. I'd also like to see if they could start, restart the Memorial Key

08:43sets for every team ending in a certain number. Um, I would like to see that, because, like,

08:49even though this, I think it was the set with, um, um, why did I, it's King Oger. It's the

08:58King Oger set that had some defects, uh, with the paint apps on them, but, eh. So, yeah.

09:12Um, but otherwise, yeah, it's just, um, I would like to see if they could do that, if they could

09:18spend, like, more time on the keys, like, painting them and everything. Uh, because they put out

09:25replacement keys for King Oger. I'd also like to see if they could put out a set for the King

09:30Oger

09:30keys just by themselves, where they have the right paint apps, so that people could get those. Um,

09:35if they are international and they couldn't get the, um, replacement keys, because for some fucking

09:41reason, at the very least with total collectibles, um, you had to send back, you not only had to pay

09:47them for, uh, the postage, but you had to send back your, uh, defective keys for them to be able

09:57to

09:57order the replacement keys in bulk to get the replacement keys, which I don't, I don't, I don't

10:06understand that at all. They tried, the person tried to explain it to me through the email that

10:10they, or the email correspondence that I had, where, um, apparently they needed to have the keys in order

10:17to order them from Premium Bandai in Japan, which I don't understand whatsoever, but, okay. Um, but,

10:28yeah. Um, so we just have all that. Uh, so, just to show this off, because I didn't have these

10:39keys,

10:39when I did the review for the 2021 version, here's Zenkaiser.

11:04I don't know why, but the, uh, the, uh, the speaker on that sounds.

11:14Okay, I thought it sounded a little, uh, softer than the 2021 version, but nope, I guess not. So,

11:26yeah. Then we got him.

11:44So, yeah, that was a thing in the 2021 version as well, I believe.

11:53Because, um, they, uh, they have, uh, yeah, they have different key cuts for the Zenkaijers,

12:06uh, programmed into this. So, they kept that from the 2021 version. Um, so, yeah, like I said. Um,

12:18so then, let's do Boon Red from Boon Boonjer.

12:38And it is just a little bit disappointing, because we have full key sets for everything from Dawn

12:45Brothers to Boon Boonjer, but we did not get a full key set for Zenkaijur. We only have the main,

12:52uh,

12:53Red Ranger, technically, and the Sixth Ranger. So, that's just weird to me that we only have those.

13:02So, yeah. Um, but I have the, uh, the, uh, Metallic Red for Gotai Red.

13:21So, yeah. So, like I said, it has the same exact functionality as the 2021 version. Um, it's

13:29probably a long shot, but I kind of want to see if I can put in the Kamen Rider O's

13:33key.

13:35Special Ranger key! Yeah, uh,この Ranger keyは特別な itemだ!

13:42So, yeah, they did not spend the time to reprogram the key cut for, um, uh, Kamen Rider O's and

13:49that,

13:50nor have they re-released Kamen Rider O's as a key set with a new key cut. So, I'm assuming

13:56they're not going to do that for some reason, even though they really should. So, let's see

14:01if they fixed this for Gokai Silver. So, yeah. So, they still have that from all the way back

14:18in 2011 from the original version of it where, um, when you put in the Gokai Silver key into the

14:26Mobile Pirates, um, it says Gokai Silver with a confused tone. Like, it's questioning it. Um,

14:33they fixed, or, well, they changed that for the 2012 re-release, The Legend Mobile Pirates,

14:38and then, um, changed it back for the 2021 version and just did not change it for this. I'm not

14:49saying

14:49that that's anything really bad. I just would have liked if they changed it, but yeah. So, here's the

14:54the Gold Anchor key.

15:02So, yeah. That is exactly the same as well, because the Gokai Silver key and the Anchor key

15:09have the same, mostly the same key cut. Yeah. Yeah, mostly the same. So, we just have that. Um,

15:17and just to show this off, the, uh, Gokai Gallon key.

15:33So, yeah. That is exactly the same as the 2021 version as well. So, yeah. So, in regards to the

15:42actual, like, an actual review of this thing, um, it's a good updated version of the 2021 version,

15:50if you want the extra sounds for the extra teams. Unfortunately, because of, um, the actions of

15:57Junya Ikeda, um, they took out all of his voice lines. So, there's not as, there's not remotely as many,

16:07um, voice lines in this thing as the 2021 version. Um, so you'd still need to keep the 2021 version

16:17if you care about that, if you already do. Uh, if you don't have the 2021 version, this is a

16:23good

16:24version to have if you just care about the sounds for the teams, like I do. So, yeah. Um,

16:31um, so I don't think I have really much else to say about that. Um, so, yeah. So, like I

16:39said,

16:39it does have, um, all the sounds for all the teams it did from the 2021 version, plus the extra

16:46ones for

16:47the extra four teams, uh, since Zenkaiger, which is nice. Um, so, yeah. And now that they've released

16:56the Memorial Edition sets, there are, uh, keys, or there are at least one key each for each of the

17:05teams. So, yeah. Um, and, uh, I don't really begrudge them doing that. I do, however, really

17:14wish that they kept releasing the Ranger Key sets, because I was disappointed when they started, like,

17:20just, or when they just only did, uh, Boon Boon Gear last year. But, yeah. Um, and just to remind

17:29you guys what sound this made when you put in a key from any team from Zenkaiger on.

17:41It would either do that or new hero is what it would also say. Um, so, yeah. Um, and also

17:52they put

17:52in a key arranger sound. I forgot about that. But, yeah. Um, so, yeah, guys. Um, when I find the,

18:01uh,

18:03the box with the other keys in them, because I know I have that somewhere, um, I'll definitely

18:11probably just post some shorts of the sounds, because I want to do that. But, yeah. Um, so,

18:17I really don't have much else to say. Uh, so, yeah. If you can find this for a decent price,

18:23I recommend it. So, yeah. So, all right, everybody. So, this is going to be a thing I tag on

18:29to the end

18:30of the video. Um, basically found the keys that, um, I was missing when I shot the first part

18:37of the video. So, yeah. So, I'm just going to go through and, uh, have them, uh, make sounds

18:47in the mobiris. Uh, here we go. So, yeah. Um.

19:13I swear I remember the other one being louder, but when I tested it. Nope.

19:29Some of these do, and some of these don't have three noises.

21:03so yeah that one doesn't have a third sound for some reason just to show you guys this

21:11like i said in the main i think i said in the main review they did uh because they originally

21:16made a set of aka or akiba ranger keys years ago um but the key cuts were made a little

21:25bit too thick

21:25so you couldn't fit it into the uh key slot of the mobirits the original ones um so when they

21:33relaunched this stuff for the 10th anniversary of gokiger technically the 11th but yeah um because

21:40it came out this technically came out in 2022 or maybe late 2021 but yeah um they decided to reprint

21:48these keys in their own set with some of the sentai gears for the uh the uh changers for i

21:57think

21:58zenkaiger and um don brothers so yeah uh and on top of that they had the voice actor for this

22:06record a sound for it um which there was a youtube video that i put together um

22:14uh a like edit of it saying that but yeah but there's an official one in this

22:42yep and that doesn't have a secondary sound so yeah um

22:49trying to think i don't think there's anything else so yeah guys uh overall good product um

22:57if you can get the one with the fixed sticker there you go i just do not understand how they

23:03made that error considering they did the original one in 2011 they did the special one the legend

23:10mobile pirates in 2012 um for uh i believe it was the first superhero ties in the movie that they

23:18released that they technically did a third version when they released the bandai asia version for uh

23:23i think it's mainly for china um and maybe southeast asia and everything but that just used the sound

23:31chip from the legend mobile pirates but at a lower audio quality they did the korean version um

23:38because sentai gets dubbed over there um into korean and they have they have the voice actor for

23:47this um record all those some of them have the power ranger names some of them don't granted it's all

23:54like rebranded under the power rangers branding in south korea because uh they got power rangers before

24:00sentai they switched over to dubbing sentai i believe after wild force um so yeah although funnily

24:08enough they would get a dubbed version of gal ranger several years later instead of shinkanger i

24:13believe so yeah which not dubbing shinkanger kind of came back to bite them in the ass they dubbed the

24:20decade crossover with it and then when it came to go kaiser they had to make up a name for

24:24it because

24:25they didn't dub that series so yeah uh i recommend watching uh

24:32uh joe or jane i think her name is now um from uh what is the channel what is what

24:41is her channel

24:42name i feel bad i cannot remember her channel name for the life of me um but there is a

24:48video out there

24:49going over the sounds that the ranger keys make in the korean version because they have the same key

24:53cuts so they record they would correspond to the same teams it's just different um different team

24:58names recorded by the voice actor for the mobile arts over there um and then also the sticker says

25:05captain force i believe instead of go kaijer because they they renamed it power rangers captain force rather

25:10than i don't know like pirate force or something like that i don't understand the naming dimension but

25:15yeah um and then um they uh re-release the mobile arts in 2021-22 with the sticker correct and

25:27then

25:27they re-released it again in 2025 but the sticker was upside down so they had to go to the

25:33trouble of

25:35manufacturing new ones that had the stickers in the right orientation so i don't know it's really

25:41dumb but yeah guys um so that's basically it for this uh it's probably gonna be the last like

25:47mobile arts thing for a very long time unless they like reboot sentai in the next 10 years which they

25:52might but we'll see uh common rider took a good decade off so yeah in the 90s minus the three

26:02movies but yeah um so we'll see if eventually they try to relaunch super sentai and try to do it
