00:08In today's video we will look at the Allura dashboard. The Allura dashboard is available
00:15on a per property level. This can be found in AI under Allura dashboard.
00:25As we develop our understanding of the guest journey the Allura dashboard introduces new
00:33insightful metrics which show how guests behave across different markets and demographics.
00:39These key metrics will help users to understand how to optimize their website
00:45and booking engine to capitalize on these opportunities.
00:50Firstly we will look at the GCR or guest conversion rate.
00:56This is a measure of the conversion rate of a booking engine from the choose stage to book stage.
01:04Live pipeline. The value of outstanding bookings that have not yet been converted.
01:11This is based on a guest search history. A month by month breakdown of the pipeline across all countries
01:22and segments is presented here. This is measured from the choose page to the customize page.
01:31If we look at this on a live booking engine you will see from the choose page to the customize
01:40page
01:46is the total amount that has not yet been converted. At this point if the guest does not continue
01:54this value is logged in the live pipeline. If the guest proceeds
02:02and completes their booking then this is recorded within the guest conversion rate.
02:12Moving back to the Allura dashboard next we will look at website visits.
02:17The average number of distinct browsing sessions from users of a website and or booking engine.
02:29Consideration time. The number of days a user spends considering staying at a hotel from first visit to booking.
02:42Active engagement time. The cumulative amount of time a user spends interacting with a website or booking engine from when
02:54they first visit to when they book.
02:58Cancellation rate. The cancellation rate from bookings due to check-in over the last 90 days.
03:08Average booking value. The average booking value. The average booking value of all bookings due to check-in over the
03:16last 90 days.
03:19The average lead-in time. The average lead-in time of bookings due to check-in
03:28check-in over the last 90 days. We identify the top three countries based on searches and further categorize users
03:40by market segments.
03:44The report is refreshed daily. Metrics are derived from a rolling 30-day period unless otherwise dated.
