00:00As part of the August 2020 release, we made a change to partner selling that will allow
00:06a property to choose to display their partner properties in line when there is no availability
00:12on a date searched.
00:15Let's take a look at a couple of our demo sites to see how this will now look.
00:21Initially we will make a search on a demo site that is displaying the current default
00:26partner view.
00:27We have searched for a date that is not available at this hotel and we are returned our standard
00:34options, the ability to change our search dates, the ability to search at partner hotels
00:39and our wait list.
00:41As always we will return an alternate view of dates underneath these options.
00:48With this standard partner hotels view, you must hit check now to open up the partner hotels
00:56and see if any of these properties have confirmed availability.
01:02In the new release update, these partner hotels will open in line by default.
01:11Let's take a look at this partner property and make a search again here for a date that
01:16I know is unavailable.
01:19In this example we can see we are still getting our standard messages and our alternate views
01:26down here but our partner properties are now open by default.
01:31You can set the limit for how many partner properties you will return.
01:36So if you potentially just wanted to return the top two partners, it will ensure that your alternate
01:42availability is not pushed too far down the listings.
01:47You can see, as with the alternate view, it is in the case of the top two properties confirming
01:53that they are available and if you click here it redirects you through to the sister property
01:59on the same date of the original search.
02:04To show you how to enable this, you would need to do it within Edit Site Profile.
02:11In Edit Site Profile, this is if you already have your partner property or partner selling set up
02:19and you just want to set the view where they are going to be open in line by default,
02:24you would go to the Flags tab in Edit Site Profile and you would tick this box,
02:30as we can see here, Display Partner Options In Line.
02:34As always, hit Save Changes.
02:37Therefore, it is up to the property if you choose to display in this manner whereby a shopper must
02:43hit Check Now or in the new view where your partner hotels are open in line by default.
