00:04so this is your the website you have at the moment do you have logins yes or
00:09anything I'm not sure okay so I'll check that for you after oh I do I do I do she
00:17send me along it login okay cool so when you log in you'll be brought you can
00:22come to the CMS tab here you'll you know log in to inch Beach House you'll come
00:27to CMS tab hold on I'll just switch to a normal user all right okay so this is
00:35what you'll see when you log in so this is the overview page so over here on the
00:40left hand side you kind of have your your menu so you got the overview tab on
00:44linked pages offline pages we'll go through all of these a as the training
00:48goes on so you can see here this is your this is your kind of navigation here it
00:55gives you an overview of all the pages on the site so you can see this one says
00:59home so if I open that in a new tab we'll just see here so that's home there
01:03accommodation is here gallery offers and you can see accommodations got a drop down
01:07here yeah if we go back to the overview page right now you can see under
01:13accommodation is kind of tabbed in yeah this represents this represents a
01:18drop down of accommodation and again you can have another drop down even further in
01:22things to do there is drop down as well yeah so you can see things to do so if I
01:27go back to the site here you can see things to do has all these drop downs down
01:30along here so there you're only to drop them so that's just kind of the way that
01:35drop downs look visually in the overview page so these are all these are all your
01:42pages that are in the navigate so you can see here this is main menu if I minus you
01:46click minus on that and it closes it off and this is footer menu so so you can see up
01:52here
01:52up top is the main menu so anything inside and main menu in the in the
01:58overview is in is up top here and at the very bottom if I scroll down you'll see
02:06footer menu is here so you can put a menu down here so they're that stemmed on
02:11there so also if you're looking for a certain page in the overview page you can
02:17use this search box over here so if I want to look just for rooms or you don't
02:22have rooms so gallery maybe so I could just type in gallery and it will filter
02:26it filter all the pages out and you can see it here so that's that's the search
02:31box there so here is the navigation title I'll just go through all the headings
02:36here what they mean navigation title so this is home accommodation so this is
02:40what the what the user will see on the main site so things to do there so you can
02:46see things to do has capital letters and spaces you're allowed to do that with the
02:49navigation title so the next one is file name so you can see these are all
02:54lowercase so index.html or gallery.html and anyone with a speech with a space
03:02sorry has a an underscore in between it or a dash so it's recommended not to put
03:07any spaces in between this if there's a space I do an underscore or or a dash a
03:13dash like like that there so you can see that there so I'll just show you now if
03:19we go to the offers page you can see the file name gets added on here at the very
03:25end so that's the file name there this bit here that's just your session ID that
03:31will be added on to URLs once you're logged in the user won't see that at all
03:35that's just when you're logged into the CMS there fine we go back to overview
03:41now so the next one is page so this is where you can go to the page properties
03:46of each page so if I wanted to make a change to the offers page here I can go
03:50to the page properties using this link here I'll show you that in a little bit
03:54as well so also you have status so you can put the status of a page live or
03:59offline so if we just look through I you have one page that's offline right now
04:05so it's events so I'd say it's just a copy so it's offline so that means only
04:10you can look at it when you're logged in and nobody else can see it then so if
04:13you want to change that you can just click I'll change weddings I'll just put
04:18weddings offline for a minute we hit change and it's after putting it offline and
04:23you can see it's after bringing me to the offline pages here on the oh yes
04:27yeah so yeah so if you have offline pages you can just use this link over
04:32here so it's it's showing me the events and weddings is offline so I want to put
04:37that back live so I can just click change and that will change it back to live so
04:42it's after it's after putting it back live now down there so you can also see
04:48down here you have standalone pages so these are not linked in the navigation so
04:52these pages they're not in the main menu or the footer menu but you'll need some
04:59pages so you'll have some pages that won't appear in them you won't need them
05:03there maybe it's a St. Patrick's Day page that you won't need in the nav the whole
05:08time so these are just where the yeah the pages that aren't linked in the nav are
05:12kept down here you can also click on links pages here and it will just bring you
05:17down to them as well so that's those there you can also if I wanted I could
05:22put this live as well I can click that and change it to live from here yeah you
05:26don't have to go into the offline pages here either so that's that's the status
05:31live so layout you have these are all the layouts you you can see you have
05:36QuickBook image sequencer you have gallery tile you have QuickBook and you have
05:41QuickBook iFrame I'll show you all those different ones now so if I just open each of
05:45these in a new tab and I'll show you so that's a QuickBook image sequencer and
05:49we'll go with gallery tile and we'll go with QuickBook and we'll go with QuickBook
05:55iFrame so I'm after opening them so the first one I opened was QuickBook image
06:01sequencer so we open that there and we'll just scroll up yeah sorry so you can see
06:07it has the QuickBook here and it has the image sequencer in the background
06:11going through all those images there so that's that the the first layout of
06:15QuickBook image sequencer so that's that's the first layout up top here the
06:20next one is sorry next one is gallery tile so this is just the the gallery
06:27layout so you could see all your images this is what the page would look like if
06:31you use the gallery layout so that's gallery the next one I think was just a
06:37QuickBook on its own this one here so if we open that one up here so you can see it
06:42just has the QuickBook bar up top and it's got no image sequencer so that's just
06:47that page page layout there and the last one is QuickBook and an iFrame so an iFrame
06:53can be used to show a video or a map so you see this is just a QuickBook and an
06:59iFrame here
07:00in the background so that's that's your four layouts there so you have a QuickBook iFrame
07:04you have the QuickBook on its own you have the gallery and you have the QuickBook image
07:12sequencer and with all these pages you have the widgets that you can add in
07:16below so these are widgets down here oh yeah throughout the page and we'll go
07:21through them in more detail I'll show you how to add every all the ones you're
07:25using in when we create a page so they're the widgets out there they're
07:31available on all pages so you can see it says widget here as well so it's a
07:35QuickBook image sequencer widget so you can see all the pages are using widget as
07:40well so clone so clone is what you'll use to create a page so say you want to
07:46make a new accommodation maybe I don't know a superior room or something like that
07:53but and you're looking through the site what we'd recommend is you go through the
07:57site and you pick a page that you want it to look like so say you want your new
08:01you want your new rooms page to be the exact same as this you want the the
08:06QuickBook and the image sequencer and these later these widgets you can just
08:11clone those so if we go back if you see up here there's an AP AP will bring you
08:15back to the overview page so there so so I was on one of these pages here so if I
08:23wanted to copy one of these pages we just click clone and we'll copy the page and
08:27create a new page and it will copy the layout of the image sequencer and the
08:32widget star on that page so that's how you'd create a new page will will I go
08:36through that now in a little bit as well and I'll show you that so the next one is
08:42standard is type so they're all standard so you don't need to worry about that one
08:47and I think that's that's everything there so what I'll do now is I'll show you so
08:56there's a lead these image sequencers here I'll show you how to change those and I'll
09:02show you how to change the break box down here so this rate box down here what we'll
09:07do we'll just go back to overview page and okay so what we'll do now we'll we'll
09:18actually we'll just clone a page and and we so what what I'll do I'll copy the
09:23home page so if we just go click clone here I want it wanted to be exact same as
09:27the home page but if we click clone now it brings us to this ad page thing so we
09:32need to give it a file name and if you remember it has to be lowercase and any
09:37spaces with a dash or an underscore so that's the file name of it there we want
09:41to keep it the exact same as the way we got it and we want to put the status to
09:44live so it also asks us do a navigation item do we want to add it to the to the
09:51nav so I for this I'll say yes so if we if we had said no it would this page
09:57when it
09:57was created we're going to the standalone pages at the bottom all right yeah so
10:02if we click no it would be added in down here but because we clicked yes we're
10:07going to add it into the main nav I just go back here when I clicked create a new
10:11navigation page is added in this little box down here so what we'll do we'll
10:15just give it title CMS training there and you can see here it's parent
10:19navigation is main menu so you can see it says main menu and has home it has all
10:25the pages that are listed so if I wanted to add it to the footer I would come
10:29down to the footer click on footer here and it would be added into this list
10:32here so you can kind of see there's dashes in front of each of these so you
10:36can see home has two dashes accommodation has two but beach house has
10:40three that's because it's a drop-down of accommodation so if I wanted to be a
10:45drop-down of home I just need to click home but if if I wanted to be added to
10:50the main nav up top I just click main menu but but I'll make it a drop-down of
10:55home so I'll just click home now so I'll just click that there and we want the
11:01target to be normal so it's what we'd recommend if you're ever making a link
11:07and it's opening in a PDF or on a YouTube another external site or something we
11:12put target to new window because that will open it in a new tab and won't take the
11:16user away so we'll just leave target on normal for now you can also decide to show it on mobile
11:22the
11:23more the mobile menu so we can only show it we'll leave it on show for now but
11:29you cannot you have those restrictions with the navigation things as well so
11:32we'll just click add now and we're after cloning the page now so we're in the page
11:38properties of the page we just cloned so the only thing we have to do we have to
11:42give it a content title so we'll just put in CMS training there we can also give it a
11:47subtitle we don't have to for this one but you have to give a CMS training so
11:52what I'll do I'll just hit save now before we make any changes to the page
11:58it's safe and we can see now CMS trainings after being is after going in
12:02under home there so if you just click home now and we you can see it's a
12:09drop-down of it now so we'll just click CMS training you can see it's after
12:13copying the the widgets from from the home page it's the exact same the only the
12:20only thing it didn't copy it was any content that was in the text box so you
12:24can see this text box is empty at the moment if we go back to home this the
12:28text that was in there originally so that's the only thing it doesn't copy is
12:32content that's in a in a text box okay so what we'll do now we'll just go to so
12:39you can see here PP that will take you to the page properties of the the page
12:43so you won't have to come out to the overview page every time and then go to
12:49properties you could just navigate the site inside on the front end and just
12:54click PP and that will bring you to the to the page properties so what we'll do
13:00now we'll change the image sequencer the image sequencer images here so you can see
13:08out there being overridden here so six three images here so it's using these
13:12three images on the main site or those four actually so you have a max of six
13:17of these there's four there at the moment what I'll do I'll just go I'm
13:21going to remove all these from the CMS training page and we'll just add in some
13:24new ones so to add new ones we'll just click load available images now you can
13:29see it gives you a list of all your images that are in the file manager right
13:33now so if I can I can scroll down through it and I can just hit that little
13:37plus you add it to the site there and it gets added into the box up above I can
13:42add in more now I could filter it out which is some so I just typed in room
13:49there and it's after filtering all the images with rooms there so I'll go to
13:52living room and I'll add in bedroom so I'll add in those three images there so
13:57I'm after adding those up there so we what I'm after making a change there so
14:01what we'll do now we'll just scroll down we'll hit save so after you make a
14:04change you need to hit save so we'll just hit save now I will look at where
14:07after being brought back into the CMS training page so you can see I'm after
14:10changing the the image sequencer image in this here yeah so that's all of those
14:17there so what we'll do now we're going to change the the rate box down here we'll
14:22edit that so we'll just go to the page properties now again if we'll just scroll
14:29down as well and so you can see override rates manual rates here so you can see
14:35there's a max of six cities and there's two in there at the moment so you can
14:38see there's a small small one there and a small one here so we'll add in three
14:44more and I'll just show you how this works so we click load available images
14:50and you can see some of these images have large LRG in front of them and the
14:54images up here that were being used were small so there's two different types of
14:58images for the rates box and I'll show you now so you can see large ones are
15:02kind of more rectangular so we'll just add in two of those so thereafter being
15:10added to our box up here and we will edit those in a second so what I'll do now
15:14I'll just scroll down to the list till we get to the small images and we'll add in
15:19one more small we'll add in we'll go with this one here we'll add in that one
15:24there so there's a few options with the rate box so you can see we've got this is
15:29one of the large images here and you can see it's a full-sized image right now full
15:33size image that's the type so you can click here to add a link to it so you
15:37could copy and paste the link in there if you want or you could use this little
15:40drop-down here so this um you can use this to link to any page that's live on
15:44the site but these are all your pages here oh yeah so also at the very bottom of this list
15:51if
15:52you had any PDFs in the file manager you can link to a PDF as well so you could
15:56use the this drop-down to link to any page that's live on the site and on the
16:00right here you can link to any race or that's live on in the booking engine so
16:05right now you've got one available at the moment so best available so I'll link it
16:09to that one there and it puts in the link automatically up in the link box there
16:14again if you were link it to a PDF or to an external site you can change the target
16:18to a new window if you want but we're not so we'll just click normal for that one
16:23you can also add a date range so date range here you click that and it gives
16:27you it pops up here so you can choose when this rate will go live so I could
16:32see I wanted to go live and 19th of July and and I wanted to come off the 23rd of
16:40July so there so the next one here is a just scroll down to this large image
16:48here and we'll change it to image with button so okay John George
