00:00:02okay so that's that's recording now so I guess this is a happy to start so yeah yeah so this
00:00:10is the overview of the CMS so this this is it kind of displays all your pages and stuff like
00:00:16that so if I just open this in the new tab so this is the front end of your site
00:00:21so you can
00:00:23see here in the nav you have rooms special offers dining meetings they're all your main nav items
00:00:29yeah these are up here is your header now and in the footer you have your footer now so you
00:00:36have
00:00:36private policy and site map there so if we just go back to the overview page now so you can
00:00:41see
00:00:42here's the main nav yeah if I hit the minus there it will collapse it and you can see here's
00:00:48the header
00:00:49header menu and here's the footer menu and you can you can see all the pages that are displayed on
00:00:55the
00:00:55site in those menus so you'll most your majority of time you'll be working in the main menu anyway
00:01:04yeah so as you can see so you have rooms special offers dining meetings and events so there's rooms
00:01:12special offers dining and events on the front end so you can see it's tabbed in here so this would
00:01:18be a
00:01:18sub nav of rooms so yeah so these are in under rooms so the drop down is here so you
00:01:26can see that and if you
00:01:28just say it was that you had another sub if you had a sub nav of suites just say you
00:01:33had a different
00:01:34suite it'd be tabbed in again okay so I don't think right now you don't have a few 22 levels
00:01:41of navigation on
00:01:42your main nav yeah yeah yeah so that's the kind of layout of it you can see kind of so
00:01:49up here you
00:01:50can collapse all so you can collapse all the the navigation items yeah down at the bottom here are
00:01:57your standalone pages so these are pages you've created but they're not in the main nav so there
00:02:03you wouldn't find in the nav you might find them in a page and it just say inside meeting and
00:02:10events one
00:02:11of these boxes link to that okay one of those standalone pages down here like just say newsletter
00:02:17or something like that so that's where these this is where the individual pages are at the bottom so
00:02:25you can you can collapse all or whatever and you can you can tick this box to always show collapse
00:02:33view
00:02:33and it saves so if you want to see it that way when you log in but if not you
00:02:37can just you can just
00:02:39leave it open like that so also there's a search box over here so just say you're looking for your
00:02:46gallery your gallery page you can type it in and it will filter all the pages display the one you're
00:02:55looking for it's just a handy way to find a page in case you yeah ton of them in the
00:02:59future so so so we
00:03:04just go through what all these titles all these things are up on the top so this navigation title
00:03:10so this is a rooms special offers so that's the title that's a yeah displayed here that's kind of
00:03:19the name of the page so the file name this is the file name and we recommend using lower cases
00:03:25and
00:03:27yeah so and dashes for the spaces so if there's a space just put in a dash like that dot
00:03:33html so
00:03:33that's the file name and it's just it's best practice just to keep using lower is for all them
00:03:41page this is the page property each each page has a page property I'll go through that in a little
00:03:50bit
00:03:50that it just basically controls all the layout of the page yeah like like this I'll go back now so
00:04:01so again like if just uh I'm not sure if I said this so you can just click on any
00:04:06page there and
00:04:08it will open up the page on the front end okay yeah perfect and page properties will open it up
00:04:15in
00:04:16the back end so in the page properties okay yeah and I'll go through the page properties a bit more
00:04:22now later on so um what you can do also um is status so all these pages are live which
00:04:30means um
00:04:31customers are can look at these pages but just say you had maybe a Christmas page or something and you
00:04:40didn't want to look at it in July yeah you can just click the live button and it sets the
00:04:46page
00:04:46offline so now nobody outside the CMS can see that page okay but uh you can see go into that
00:04:55page but
00:04:55it's offline yeah you can still make changes to that page but nobody can see it outside the CMS so
00:05:02which is I'll just put that back online because your site is actually live now so I don't want to
00:05:07be
00:05:07making too many changes to a live size um so so layout this is the layout so this is kind
00:05:14of the
00:05:14layout of the page so you can see you have quickbook image sequencer uh so we'll just we'll open that
00:05:21and
00:05:22I'll go through the different types so we have quickbook just open that in the new tab uh so a
00:05:28lot of
00:05:29them are quickbook image sequencers we have quickbook iframe so that's a location page and we have gallery type
00:05:43and we have one minimal here so there these are kind of all the page layouts that you have available
00:05:49to you so you can see this is um this is quickbook image sequencer so you can see up here
00:05:54here's the
00:05:54quick book okay top right corner and you have demon sequencer it goes through all the images yeah yeah so
00:06:03the next one i think is just the quick book so the quick book is up on the top uh
00:06:08and you have a page
00:06:09full of content then so there's no image sequencer on this page type so this something a lot of people
00:06:15use this kind of page for the offers uh up on the site i don't know um let me check
00:06:20your special yeah so
00:06:21special offers have just a quick book with the list of their promotions uh the next one now is this
00:06:28is the
00:06:29quick book and the iframe uh so we use iframes to display our google maps so there's your hotel on
00:06:37the map at the moment um so you can use iframes to display maps or like youtube videos or anything
00:06:44really like a 3d tour or something so it's handy enough and i'll show you how to how to put
00:06:52that in
00:06:53yeah in you know in one of the pages we'll create a little bit so we'll just go on to
00:06:59the next one now
00:07:00so this is your gallery and so basically gallery layout is just a page of images and you can click
00:07:08on them and you can go through it and i'll show you a little bit how to add images and
00:07:13stuff to that
00:07:15and i think finally is minimal so minimal is just it's what it what it is it's just a text
00:07:21box it's
00:07:22minimal a minimal layout that's mostly used just for site map or something like that so we'll just close
00:07:29those for now i can just close those off for now okay yeah so that's all the the layout so
00:07:46you have
00:07:46about five different layouts i think there but you'll be able to make uh different looking pages uh
00:07:52throughout your site and everything like that uh so they're all widgets uh i'll go through all the
00:07:58widgets with you in a bit so the widgets are so this text box this image grid um what else
00:08:07do you have
00:08:09so uh this is a image and text i think here or this is image grid sorry uh this one's
00:08:16image text
00:08:17so you can add all these to different pages and they're promotional boxes i'll go through them now in a
00:08:22a little bit a little bit so we go back to here uh so clone this um this is for
00:08:28cloning pages uh so
00:08:29just say you so basically what you'll do when you want to create a new page you'll kind of go
00:08:34through
00:08:35your pages you'll pick one that you like and you want to base your new page on you just the
00:08:41easiest
00:08:41thing is just to clone it and update the content content on that page uh but we'll go through that
00:08:48as
00:08:48well okay so type they're all standard yeah so that's grand and uh so yeah so over here you have
00:09:02hashtag number so this is a number of sequencer images and this one is number of rate images so
00:09:10the thing with rcms is you can set default default um image sequencer images in the change uh sorry um
00:09:24switch sorry you're looking at uh i'll switch this is what your view will be more like
00:09:28no okay sorry i had to change that there okay so in the change options over here uh you can
00:09:34set default
00:09:35uh image sequencer images so this so you have four of them in there at the moment there's a max
00:09:41of six
00:09:42so these are all default ones that you've picked and are that go on to any page that aren't overridden
00:09:49so i'll show you now what i mean by that so you can see you can see to do uh
00:09:57this page has any any
00:10:01any page that has a number here means they've overridden the default ones and are displaying um
00:10:06ones custom ones in the page properties okay you get me so if i look at image sequencer so if
00:10:15i look
00:10:15at this page i can see there's no number here so if i go to meeting and events they're the
00:10:21default ones
00:10:30uh we'll just go back go to overview yeah so anyone with a number means they've are they're um overriding
00:10:41the default ones if you get me yeah yeah um so and does that sorry to interrupt you so you
00:10:48see the
00:10:49way it says like number four uh does that correspond to one particular set of images then or that number
00:10:58four means that it has that that page has four image sequencer images yeah okay yeah so uh same
00:11:06thing would be if uh you see the r here uh if you had um numbers would appear down along
00:11:14here as well
00:11:15if you were overriding the default rates as well but none of your pages are yeah uh overriding them at
00:11:22the moment so all the the rates here they're on every page right now you can see that there
00:11:28yeah yeah uh so i was here yeah so we'll just go to change options and i'll go through how
00:11:34to
00:11:35do this so so uh so this is the image sequencer for standard uh okay so we if you want
00:11:43to add an
00:11:43image to this we'll say uh you can see the four images are displayed um the name that's the name
00:11:49of
00:11:50the image uh has title you can link it to url or anything like that you can put a date
00:11:54range on it
00:11:55and i'll show you that now we'll we'll add a new one so if you want to add a new
00:11:59one you click load
00:12:00available images and all your available images uh display here so you can scroll down through them
00:12:08and all that stuff and you can find the one you want you can also use a search bar here
00:12:13to filter
00:12:14down the one you're looking for looking for so um what i'll do i'll just pick one of them here
00:12:20now i'll go
00:12:21for this one so i can see i can see it got added to the bottom of the list there
00:12:26so i can give that a
00:12:28title if i want waiting i can click link here and when you click on link it kind of updates
00:12:37the the the
00:12:39input field kind of and you can see it says cms pages here so you can click this and it
00:12:45lists all
00:12:45the pages you have in your cms yeah so you could link to any page in your cms or you
00:12:51can link it to
00:12:52one of your pdf that you've uploaded to the file manager yeah yeah so uh you can click we'll just
00:13:00link it to that pdf or something like that and or if you wanted to you could link it to
00:13:06one of your
00:13:06rates so these are a list of all the available rates from your booking engine these are your rate
00:13:12groups so you could you could you don't link it to any one of your rates there if you wanted
00:13:16to
00:13:17any one of those images there um well you can add your all tag if you like you can also
00:13:22add date range
00:13:23so if you hit this tick box here um you can you can click here and you can pick it
00:13:29to go up for
00:13:30maybe christmas eve or something like that and you want it to come down
00:13:37in uh 50 or something like that yeah so so that will go live at 12 o'clock uh on
00:13:44the 24th and it
00:13:46will come off then on the 26th on its own uh if you get me so that's a handy feature
00:13:55you know uh now
00:13:56if you want you can expand any of our kind of boxes a lot of our boxes are based like
00:14:01this
00:14:01it has the load images at the bottom uh image select and stuff if you want to expand it and
00:14:07make it
00:14:07bigger so you can see it or see it clearly instead of a that small kind of you can do
00:14:13this and if you
00:14:14want to reorder these images now you can see there is a little sort thing there if you see
00:14:22hamburger icon there and if you click and drag
00:14:27you can bring it up to the top and put it first if you like it's a bit there there
00:14:31you go you can
00:14:32just draw and try to click and drag it and stuff like that so i have this set to go
00:14:38live 124 date
00:14:40range add the link in um so what's that so uh that's it so i'll just close down this box
00:14:49now so once you
00:14:51have your your your sequencer images picked yeah and you're happy with them and they're they're the
00:14:57default ones and change options you come down here and you click save and that will update uh
00:15:02uh the site but i won't do that now because i don't want to be messing with your image sequencer
00:15:08on the live site so what i'll do i'll just hit x on this to remove it
00:15:15and i'll keep i'll keep the image sequencer the way you have them right now if that's okay okay so
00:15:24the
00:15:24same can be done uh so the same can be done for your rates so these are your rates here
00:15:31they're down
00:15:31here rates for standard so it's right under the image sequencer so your rates are this box here and
00:15:37it's applied through them so that's them there uh so we'll go back there the default ones so uh so
00:15:46you can do the same again you can load available images you can have a max of six there's currently
00:15:50three in there at the moment so we can add another one um so what we'll do is we'll just
00:15:57click load you
00:15:57can look through your images um and there's uh there's different types as well i'll show you that now
00:16:06in a second i'll show you when we build our own page the different titles so so i'll just add
00:16:11in one
00:16:11here so so image with text we'll go with image image with text excuse me
00:16:25sorry uh so you can type in the title of it so we can just say food maybe or
00:16:30or whatever kind of offer you're trying to promote um uh nice
00:16:38sorry my brain's gone a bit i can't be so very easy yeah so uh you could say maybe 56
00:16:45euro and you can
00:16:47type in a book now for the default action is a button and you can link it to the cms
00:16:54any page you like or
00:16:55again to one of your rates okay and the pdfs are at the bottom of this one here uh so
00:17:03you can also
00:17:04select it to open normally or in a new window uh so a new tab kind of so we'd recommend
00:17:10if you're
00:17:10using if you're linking to a pdf always open in a new window so it so it doesn't take the
00:17:16customer away
00:17:17from your site and they'll still have your website open in the next tab again you have the date range
00:17:25thing here you can use uh and that's that would be how you update your rate for standards like
00:17:31i won't add that in for now so we'll just delete that okay delete that for now and
00:17:39that's uh the rates for standard uh so that's the option so far and change options um there's a few
00:17:47more things i'll come back to them in a bit so once you've made any changes you like you just
00:17:52hit save
00:17:52down here and it will update the default options so we'll just go back to overview now
00:18:06okay so what we'll do now is we will clone we will clone a page okay so i'll show you
00:18:13how to make
00:18:13a new page so so just say i want a page just like the rooms page so the rooms page
00:18:19has image quickbook
00:18:20image sequencer it has its rates up uh has text it has all this layout right now so we'll just
00:18:27go back
00:18:27to the over the overview and we'll go we'll just click the clone button here okay okay so so um
00:18:39this
00:18:40uh this will add page so what we want to do we want to give it a name so we'll
00:18:44just call it uh cms
00:18:45training all lowercase for this one because it's just the file name uh you can see it's a quickbook image
00:18:52sequencer and it's got the widget layout so um we want to put it to live um so that you
00:19:00know the client
00:19:01customers can see and stuff like that so we might if you want to add it to the navigation so
00:19:07you click
00:19:07create new navigation item and it page updates so if we that would be if we wanted to add it
00:19:13to the
00:19:13navigation here okay maybe join a christmas page um i'll show it now so you can give it a title
00:19:22so c
00:19:26training and and then you can pick where it goes in the in the list uh options so this is
00:19:33you see main
00:19:34menu here uh if you remember main menu from the overview yep yep and so this is list so if
00:19:41you wanted
00:19:41it to go in the main menu just keep click main menu it'll be added here in the main menu
00:19:49yeah
00:19:51but if you want it to be in a drop down of rooms you click there if you want it
00:19:55to be in a drop down
00:19:56from standard rooms yeah so if you so you kind of pick the parent navigation of it yeah or where
00:20:02you
00:20:02want it to go also if you scroll down to the bottom you'll see there's header menu and there's footer
00:20:06menu
00:20:07so if you want to put it in the header menu if you want to put it in the footer
00:20:11put it in the footer
00:20:13so so we'll just stick to the main there so um i won't actually add it because your site is
00:20:19live and
00:20:19i don't want to be changing adding it navigations you know it's not something the customers need to be
00:20:25looking at so i'll click do not create a navigation item so we'll click add
00:20:32and now we're in the page property to that page so uh we'll give it a content title and we'll
00:20:39just go
00:20:39with training and we can give it a um a subtitle as also uh cms okay so uh so you
00:20:54can see here the
00:20:55uh this overrides the image sequencer so uh if if just say you go on a page and it's using
00:21:04the default
00:21:05ones from the change options they'll come into page properties you can scroll down here you can click
00:21:10uh change override image sequencer images if you click yes
00:21:17if you click yes it will give you the image sequencer and it will let you load your images
00:21:21so what we'll do is we'll just throw in a few uh a few of these so i'm just scrolling
00:21:29down through
00:21:29them i think there's a max of six on image sequencer stuff so i threw in about four of them
00:21:34there
00:21:37so yeah there's four of them there so and again you can you can add links or anything you like
00:21:41so you
00:21:41could have an offer like design or something you put it up on a page like that or whatever uh
00:21:47you can add
00:21:48the links you can do to put a title on it they don't they don't display or anything but you
00:21:53can
00:21:53put a date range on it so that's the sequencer images and you can see here as well it has
00:21:59overwrite
00:22:00rates so if you want to overwrite the rates on the page we click yes now so i can go
00:22:05through it with you
00:22:08so manual rate this pop-up kind of appears then after a few seconds so we click load available images
00:22:16so uh we'll go with this one for now and we'll full size image so we'll go with image so
00:22:25we'll just uh
00:22:27put in uh test text uh we'll just put in a little bit of
00:22:38uh we'll play in a price um trying to your side and 120 or something like that and your call
00:22:44to action is
00:22:47book now so uh yeah yeah so that's uh one that's one rate we've added out we'll add another one
00:22:57now
00:23:00um we'll scroll down through i'm looking for so there's a there's kind of there's different type
00:23:07of rates you can see it's after changing the size there so these ones are more square if these ones
00:23:13are suited for the the image with text okay image with text so uh it's all about getting used so
00:23:22these
00:23:22are larger ones so i'll just pick one of these now and it gets added to the list up here
00:23:27so i'll scroll
00:23:27down to the bottom so this is one this is suited for a full size image because it's larger so
00:23:34we'll
00:23:35just add a link to that we'll throw in afternoon tea or something like that that's all you have to
00:23:39do with those ones because there's no text uh we'll add one more now and we'll hit plus and we'll
00:23:47do
00:23:47the last one uh we'll do image with button so i'll just put a book now on that and we'll
00:23:56link it to
00:23:56your rates here so we'll go wine and dine or something like that uh is that okay yeah yeah so
00:24:03what we've done so far on the the clone page we've updated the rates and we've updated the image
00:24:10sequencer so what we'll do is we'll just scroll down to the bottom and we'll hit save and we'll have
00:24:13a
00:24:13look what we've done so far so it's after bringing me out of the page now so we're just going
00:24:19to search
00:24:19for the page i met there uh so i typed in cms there's the file name and training so we'll
00:24:26open
00:24:27that up so these are the images i selected and uh you can see the rates over here on the
00:24:36on the left hand side so this is a image with text so it has the test text results price
00:24:42probably
00:24:42this is probably the most popular one for or whatever uh this is just the image so maybe you
00:24:48had a graphic made up and it says 20 off or something something like that and same again
00:24:54maybe it's just a graphic and you wanted a button button on it okay so that's the three type of
00:25:00rates
00:25:00there uh so we'll go to page we'll go back to page properties now and that's the image
00:25:07sequencer and the rates done and we'll just scroll down a little bit and you can see here here's the
00:25:13widget loader okay oh it's hard to page jump there sorry where where'd it go oh i closed it off
00:25:20sorry
00:25:20there's a plus there yeah oh problem yeah so this is kind of displays where this kind of displays the
00:25:27widgets on the page right now we have two of them at the moment uh so we have a text
00:25:32box and we've
00:25:33image and text but i'll get rid of those just for now and we'll start fresh we'll make our own
00:25:40so in the drop down you can see all your available widgets so we'll start with a text box and
00:25:45we'll
00:25:46just click add widget and we'll hit save there for a second and you can see now um it's after
00:25:54removing
00:25:54the other ones and it's after in it's after putting in a text box for us there uh so if
00:26:01you just click
00:26:01into the text box you can type as much so you can add as much contact as you want uh
00:26:08training cms or
00:26:11whatever uh so you can you can highlight it you can make it bold you can italic it you can
00:26:18underline it
00:26:19you can add a strikethrough to it if you like just uh whatever way you need to format it it's
00:26:26just like
00:26:26word kind of you can bring it into the center of the page uh over here in format you can
00:26:33go into
00:26:33heading and you can give it a heading so just maybe uh whatever you're like so that's your heading for
00:26:39the cms training and we can type away or whatever um if you want to change that back you can
00:26:47go format
00:26:48and you can look through here they're just the the bold italic that's over here as well you can go
00:26:54to
00:26:55you can go to block and you go go to paragraph that will change it back to what it was
00:26:59originally
00:27:03so and they're all your available headers kind of so uh if you want to add a link to um
00:27:11to a bit of
00:27:12text on on a page so you highlight it just like so and you hit this chain up here okay
00:27:17so you can link
00:27:21it to a url you can just copy it copy and paste it in there wherever you want it to
00:27:25go uh this is the
00:27:26text display you can give it a title if you want as well uh but the handy one here is
00:27:32the links list
00:27:33so if you hit this drop down here this lists every page you have in the cms so say you
00:27:39were talking
00:27:39about your dining page you could and you highlight the word dining you can link it to your dining page
00:27:45uh here somewhere so there's dying there so now that's linked to the the dining page now uh again
00:27:54at the bottom of that list would be your pdfs files yeah yeah so you you it follows a fairly
00:28:01similar
00:28:02layout throughout the whole thing so you can have target you can have none or open in a new window
00:28:08and like i said open pds in the new windows uh kind of standard so you click okay and now
00:28:15that that
00:28:17gms there is uh is a link to the dining page there's also one other feature you can do you
00:28:25can go to
00:28:26class here and you can pick button um to on any link that you create you can click okay then
00:28:33and it will
00:28:33turn that into a button a button uh right now it's not styled properly i don't think but you can
00:28:39you can
00:28:39use that to to uh sorry yeah so highlight that i'll just change it back there for a second but
00:28:49the button
00:28:49one is fairly handy uh yeah so you can link that there so once you're happy with all the text
00:28:58you've
00:28:58done and everything you make sure you click save you just click save up here on the top left corner
00:29:03that will keep all the data or the information you've entered in the text box so uh that's the
00:29:11text box now so if we go into page properties um the text box is the only one you can
00:29:16um that you
00:29:18have to edit on the front end of the site the rest of the widget you'll be able to edit
00:29:24inside in the
00:29:24page properties okay so we'll just uh we'll add title now so we just click title and we'll click add
00:29:30widget
00:29:32and that updates the page uh and you can see text is number one title is number two and if
00:29:38you scroll
00:29:38when you go down along the page you can see uh title widget number two okay so title is basically
00:29:46the
00:29:47exact same as the the content title and subtitle so if you want to add another one down the page
00:29:53or
00:29:53above an offer or something so we'll just put it in offer um and test or something like that and
00:30:02you
00:30:02just click save it adds that in there i think uh so the subtitle isn't dialed there but uh yeah
00:30:11so we'll
00:30:12just go back now and that that's basically how you add an extra title set so what we'll do is
00:30:20we'll
00:30:20we'll go through all the widgets now so we'll we'll add a banner image so we'll click add widget
00:30:28and the page gives the page updates after a second uh also you can you can reorder these
00:30:34any way you like them so same again and you can delete them if you want to so the
00:30:42so down here banner image widget you can click uh load available images and this will this will load
00:30:49all the images you have available for the banner so we'll just go with this one here we'll click plus
00:30:56and we'll go title uh we just we'll call it banner so we'll be able to tell what it is
00:31:02in the thing
00:31:06you can also tick this box to add in some subtitle text and call to action or you could just
00:31:13have it
00:31:13with just a title or whatever so we'll we'll add a few lines of text text text uh t e
00:31:28f t we'll add a call
00:31:30to action so we'll say buy now maybe buy now and you can link it to any one of your
00:31:36pages again so we'll
00:31:38go salt tail or whatever and the date range and we'll just hit save there
00:31:45and that's your that's your banner image now so depending on the image you know the you might
00:31:50have to change the image to suit the text you know kind of yeah because uh yeah so there's banner
00:31:56your test text and buy also you can add banner images like that so we'll move on to the next
00:32:02one now
00:32:05and to drop down and we'll go to iframe now so you can add an iframe so we'll click add
00:32:10widget
00:32:12and that gets added to the bottom here so you can see it wants an iframe link so what we'll
00:32:17do is
00:32:18we will go to your location page
00:32:22uh because your location page had an iframe on it so we're in our in your location page we're going
00:32:27to
00:32:27go to the page properties and i can see here iframe link so we're just going to copy that
00:32:34okay just for now to show you how the iframe widget works and we'll paste this and hit save again
00:32:43and that adds your map to your page there and you can do the same with uh let's say if
00:32:48flybon has a youtube video or something like that you can just add a an iframe widget to the page
00:32:54go to youtube um i think if you click share and then embed you'll get an iframe linked that way
00:33:02so you'll be able to find it yeah so now that's the iframe widget uh so page properties again
00:33:15that's iframe we shall now go image and text so we'll add image and text we'll go add widget
00:33:25and again it gives us load available images so we'll pick out a few uh we'll go this one and
00:33:33i'll add
00:33:33one more as well uh with that one add this one so the two images are after being added to
00:33:42there so we'll
00:33:43just uh type in a title image and text
00:33:50uh image and text
00:33:54so title
00:33:59text
00:34:00a call to action by now
00:34:05and you can again you can link it again so you can see it following a certain pattern like
00:34:09so once you get the hang of it you'll be able to
00:34:11uh work away on it so we'll just uh just copy that
00:34:20well i'll just put the same stuff in down here so title

00:34:30contact action we've said more info maybe this time

00:35:03one it would appear on the image would appear on the left and the text on the right
00:35:09so that's how that works there and there's a limit i think there's there's a limit on how much
00:35:15how many characters you can put into into an image and text because you know i think it's about 200
00:35:22characters right now we've got four in so it's limited so um it will display correctly on mobile
00:35:28and stuff like that so that's the image and text widget and next one now is the image grid
00:35:36so the image grid is probably the one you have to think about the most about because uh
00:35:43i'll show you now because there's like three different types of images you can put into it
00:35:47uh i'll just go to your site now i'll see if i can i can find an image grid yeah
00:35:53so this is here
00:35:53this is image grid so you can see um that's it there so you can see it's kind of based
00:36:00on a tree column
00:36:00which yeah this this image would be one call this would be one call one call this would be one

00:36:08as well followed by a two call so basically each row uh has to kind of add up to three
00:36:14calls or it
00:36:15won't display correctly if you get me so like if i had it if i had a two call followed
00:36:20by a two call
00:36:21it wouldn't fit the second one would jump down onto a new line and you're left with a gap here
00:36:26so so in that can can one image be three call in that or is that yeah yeah there's a
00:36:32three call
00:36:33as well uh it's just it's not on this right now yeah uh so we will make one that goes
00:36:37one one one
00:36:39one two and we'll make one that's three okay just go through it uh so we'll go back to our
00:36:44page
00:36:45properties i think this is our page properties for the the test one yeah so this is image grid so

00:36:51can go load available images here you see the images have one call in front of them so we'll just
00:36:58pick out we'll just pick out three of them there so we'll go with this one uh we'll try this

00:37:06and we'll go for a third one now for to finish off the first row kind of there so that's

00:37:13them in there at the moment so we'll we'll add a two column this and you this is the search

00:37:19comes in handy then because you can go just type in two calls and it will filter down to all

00:37:24calls uh so we'll go with this hallway and now because we entered a two column there we'll we'll
00:37:35put in a one call to finish off that row yeah one call i will throw it family and to
00:37:44finish it off
00:37:45then we'll add a three card now so you could always just scroll down through all the images yeah so
00:37:52it's
00:37:53it's in order one call two calls real call so we'll just go this one and we'll see how that
00:37:58looks now
00:37:59it saves before we add any text to it we'll just check how it looks so you can see we
00:38:04have one call
00:38:05one call one call followed by two column uh one column and there's a three column okay that that
00:38:12fits in the layout fairly nicely yeah so we'll go back to page properties now we'll add in a bit

00:38:18so there's a few options with image grid so you can see you have no text
00:38:27text uh to display so what we'll do we'll all text we'll go all text on hover on this one
00:38:34so we'll just
00:38:36type in hover hover all text
00:38:46uh on hover we'll just put in a book now uh so that that means when we hover over that
00:38:55one
00:38:56all text will display so we'll we'll check out before we save we'll do a few more uh so
00:39:02on the this is the two column one we'll click click here so we'll just go title only maybe
00:39:10so we'll just type in title only
00:39:14title only and just say i wasn't happy with this image you can click this drop down here
00:39:20and you can go through and pick a new one
00:39:22it doesn't it doesn't give you a preview so uh you'll but if you look in the file manager you'll
00:39:27be able to figure out what one you're looking for uh so we'll just change it to 12 there
00:39:33so we have we so we have we have no text type only all text on hover and i think
00:39:41there's one more
00:39:42and all this display text so we'll just uh
00:39:55text and a call to action more info we'll throw in this time more info and again you can do
00:40:00links
00:40:01and stuff so we'll just hit save now we'll see how that looks
00:40:06so we'll scroll down through it so you can see hover when we hover over it kind of darkens the
00:40:10image
00:40:10so this is kind of useful for those brighter images that the text don't display well on so
00:40:15you see hover uh all text on hover and a book now uh so this is title only uh so
00:40:23this image is a bit
00:40:24bright for the weight for that title or whatever and this is always display a text um on title so
00:40:33they're the three so these are no text these are no text all text on hover title only and always
00:40:41display text so they're the three options the four options which the image gradient you can you can
00:40:47work you know make nice collages and stuff and have different kind of layouts based on those three
00:40:57so uh so we'll just move on to the next one oh yeah so uh yeah the list is getting
00:41:07long now uh so
00:41:09here's image grid so the next one is a parallax image so we'll hit add image
00:41:16and that's after adding in the parallax now the parallax is uh it's like the banner but it works best
00:41:21uh
00:41:22kind of up up from the bottom of the page and i'll show you why now in a second so
00:41:26we'll just push it
00:41:27above just push it above image and texture so here's the parallax we can just load an image and
00:41:36we'll go for one down here somewhere so we'll go for this room one we'll click add and again you
00:41:42can add
00:41:45uh parallax parallax parallax uh
00:41:55widget uh text
00:42:01book now and we'll just link it to your online savers offer or something like that uh
00:42:09uh and we'll just hit save
00:42:15now so i you might hopefully you can see this now on screen so you can see it kind of
00:42:21scrolls
00:42:21through the image there as you see it
00:42:24yes yeah so it's a nice effect so that's why it works best kind of up from the bottom of
00:42:28the page
00:42:28because if you're at the bottom of the page yeah you can't go fully past it yeah if you get
00:42:34me it's a
00:42:35it's a um it's a nice uh one we have uh also there's a feature with the parallax that if
00:42:42the
00:42:42image is too bright you can you can start in it so i'll just scroll to the bottom
00:42:46um here now so parallax parallax is because i moved it up it's after moving into position
00:42:54uh so you can enable background for text so there's a little text box that i think that's the only
00:43:00one
00:43:01it's on the parallax image so we'll just hit save now and that will darken the image a little bit
00:43:10so so it's after darkening it so the the text that got a bit better there
00:43:14uh so that's the parallax there
00:43:19we'll go page properties now and we will move on to the next one okay so
00:43:26parallax we're on to the promotion boxes now this is the last widget so i just click add widget
00:43:33and there's promotion box okay so i think you you have promotion boxes on your special offers
00:43:40so there are promotion boxes there so what we'll do is we'll just we'll add a few so you can

00:43:48uh a max of 20 of these so again here's the promotion widget and we'll just click load available images
00:44:02and we will pick out an image here so we'll uh so it's the same thing again promote

00:45:38how to change that so we'll go page properties and if you go down to the promotion boxes which
00:45:47is here underneath the promotion widget there's an advanced options thing so you can click right
00:45:52now it's list with text so we want to change it to title with text to suit those images so
00:45:58we'll hit save
00:46:00we'll scroll down and you can kind of see yeah yeah it kind of did that so we go back
00:46:08to page properties
00:46:09there and i think there's another one there uh there's another option you can pick from
00:46:18so a title with text uh you can have large tile with text as well
00:46:23so you can click that and then i think there's uh there's different types of images as well inside
00:46:28here it's like one call two call and three call so you can see here's large uh so large i
00:46:35think so
00:46:36large we're looking for large tile so large tile we'll just go with this one change that and we'll
00:46:44change this one as well so we'll just pick any random one there and we hit save now um
00:46:53so yeah so that looks way better now the last one the pictures were kind of uh pixelated a little
00:47:00bit uh so what we'll do we'll go back now again and we'll have a look
00:47:10so it's kind of mix and match and just try and figure out how so this is tile with text
00:47:17go back to
00:47:17this one now we'll just see if those images suit tile as well so that's tile as well yeah so

00:47:25all about playing around with it and uh you'll probably be sticking with the list in general maybe
00:47:34uh yeah so is that okay promotion yeah yeah i think that's that's all the the widgets now so we've
00:47:43gone through the banner iframe image and text image grid parallax promotion text and title so that's all
00:47:51the widgets uh so you can you can if you want to get rid of one of them then from
00:47:57a page you just hit the
00:47:58x and you hit save or you want to reorder them all the stuff so promotion we'll hit save so
00:48:11yeah so this is
00:48:12just the page we've created now so we've updated the image sequencer so these could be any images you
00:48:18like maybe christmas images maybe it's your christmas page we've updated your rates maybe you wanted
00:48:23christmas rates on this page so you can really customize your pages so you have your that's your
00:48:28content title and your subtitle uh that's your offer that's a title widget this is your banner widget
00:48:38here uh this is your text box and you can always add multiple you can add in more than one
00:48:44text box
00:48:44or more than one iframe or more than one banner you know uh but you don't want the pages too
00:48:49long because
00:48:50yeah yeah so there's your parallax there's your image with text uh here's your here's your image grid
00:48:59and here are your promotional boxes here so and in terms of all of these uh sorry to interrupt you
00:49:06all of these widgets um like they're all pretty much kind of mobile friendly then they'd all appear
00:49:13yeah they would yeah yeah okay they did all kind of respond from all well and all that stuff
00:49:19yeah uh so we'll just go uh page properties i think we're we're done with the this page now we've
00:49:26done everything that we can to the page and you you know all the widgets and stuff now yeah so

00:49:32thing on this is the structure so if you wanted to um change the way to put special offers before
00:49:44rooms
00:49:45around like that you can go over here to structure and this is kind of the structure of the the
00:49:50main
00:49:51menu uh you can see all this so you can like um you can disable you can go into the
00:49:57properties of
00:49:58the nav item so this isn't the page properties this is more of edit navigation item so you can actually
00:50:05disable you can turn it off the home page so okay you can actually um turn off so if you
00:50:14just disable
00:50:14that navigation item you can just and they will be removed just say maybe if it's a christmas one
00:50:19you want to remove in changari or something like that you can just hit disable there but i won't do
00:50:24that right now because this is your rooms page on the live site uh so that's what you can do
00:50:31in
00:50:31structure so you can kind of see which pages are enabled which pages are disabled uh which nav items
00:50:39are disabled so if you wanted to sort them next you go to sort and here you can click and
00:50:47drag yeah you
00:50:47can just click and drag so just like before i want to put rooms there after so now dining is
00:50:55up here
00:50:56first and meeting events and just say i want to you can just click and drag change the order of
00:51:01and all
00:51:01that stuff and you just hit save down here so yeah so you can you can start your your navigation

00:51:10that and uh so also do you remember your uh standalone pages down here at the bottom yeah yeah so

00:51:17say you've these created now but you want to you want to add it to your uh navigation now uh

00:51:23do is you scroll up and you click add item right you can add an item and we'll just say

00:51:32we'll go with contact i can't remember what pages were standalone we'll just go with contact so that's
00:51:37the name of it and we want to link into the contacts page so this list of all your pages
00:51:44again
00:51:46uh so contact is there you can click that uh also you can include a link so you can get
00:51:55your pdf
00:51:57or you could link it to maybe a youtube video or something like that
00:52:02and again you can uh you can choose if it goes in your main nav in your main menu or
00:52:07the footer or the
00:52:07header from these drop downs or in one of the sub or sub menus of meetings and events or down
00:52:16there
00:52:17and once again you need to click enabled to enable it so it often happens to me i make the
00:52:23whole
00:52:23navigation item i have everything done i click submit uh go to the website and it's like it's not there
00:52:28and it's like i never hit enabled so yeah so uh so once you hit submit that will appear on
00:52:35the site
00:52:35then so i'll just cancel that for now so uh is that okay yeah i went through that one fairly
00:52:43quick
00:52:44yeah so that's how you add them you sort them and you kind of disable them yeah and also these
00:52:49are on
00:52:49linked pages here so yeah if you click on the pages it'll bring you to all the standalone pages it'll
00:52:56jump you down here so i think if i click i showed you this if you click live here you
00:53:03can put it offline
00:53:04yeah yeah i think i showed you that and it brings you into it adds another tab then offline pages
00:53:10so yeah so and you can delete the page that way then if you want or something like that

00:53:53through the yeah so these ones here when the oh it's these ones here uh so there's slide images uh
00:54:01the rates so these are the images that belong to the rate boxes uh this parallax images uh mobile nav
00:54:09images uh image text row image grid call one call two culture and doc doc is where you'd put your
00:54:16pdfs
00:54:17so you can also you can also click on the folders and it will open it up uh so you
00:54:24can view all your
00:54:24images and also you can click here on the left you can select them uh just so you wanted to
00:54:30delete them
00:54:31or something like that you can you can select them here on the left you can either delete them on
00:54:35the
00:54:35right individually or you can select them all here and then scroll to the bottom and hit delete here
00:54:42when you select but i won't delete any for a moment uh but uh also if you're doing a bit
00:54:49of tidy up when
00:54:50you're deleting images uh just watch out for this tick box here the tick box means it's being used in
00:54:55the
00:54:55on the site so if you hover over it will tell you it's been used on the cocktails page so
00:55:00the bar
00:55:00restaurant image here that's being used in the image sequencer yeah yeah uh so i'll show you how
00:55:08to upload an image now so what you do is you start at the top you hit this drop down
00:55:13here what you
00:55:14want to do you want to add it to the slider uh wrong one you want to add it to
00:55:18the slider images folder
00:55:21so make sure you get the slider images one not the slightly thumbnails one so the slider images
00:55:26folders you want to click add files so i have a demo page so this is a christmas one here
00:55:35just
00:55:35christmas test you want to click open and that will load the image and what what the tms does what
00:55:43the
00:55:43file manager does then it will automatically upload uh there's restrict there's restrictions on the
00:55:48slider images folder that once uh because it's the biggest one so you know so it's the biggest one there
00:55:54once uh once you upload to that it will automatically upload to the one call two call three call the
00:56:01the image text row the parallax images the rate images large so the best thing is to just upload
00:56:08to your slide images folders and you'll be able to get versions of it but because it gets uploaded to
00:56:14each one of those folders obviously there's different sizes so we have to crop them so you just click crop
00:56:19here and what you do is you can just move the you can see the area that's highlighted that's the
00:56:25area
00:56:25that's going to it's going to crop out the dark edges so we'll just hit crop and save and that's
00:56:32done
00:56:32and it's going to pick out so this one is the next one so you can see we're working on
00:56:37call two right now
00:56:40so that's for call two for the image grid
00:56:44this is called tree so you can see uh you know you lose certain bits of the image for each
00:56:49size of
00:56:49it's each each widget that you're working for so this is image text so that's a fairly square one
00:56:55so the whole lot fix so you can just crop your way through them
00:57:03so click crop and save so yeah so yeah we'll just crop and save
00:57:17so it's it's handy all right yeah you don't have to upload to each individual folder
00:57:24so that's uh that's all of them uploaded now so you can see if i go to banner
00:57:29christmas test should be here somewhere so uh
00:57:33should be what's called christmas test one looks like
00:57:46or did it try country so country christmas test so there it is there yeah so i don't think there's
00:57:55a restriction on the banner folder at the moment so i can sort that out when we're off the call

00:58:09how to upload a pdf now as well while we're here so you click the drop down and you go

00:58:16and it's the same thing again you just click add file and we'll just upload this pdf or something
00:58:22like that so we'll just click open and that's uploaded now so i think it was a photography also
00:58:31if you click on any of these um it will open up the image tray so we'll just say click

00:58:38eliminate in a new tab so if you just want to have a better look at it but there's a
00:58:42hover for images
00:58:42anyway so you can kind of see it there so uh so uh yeah uh there is a limit on
00:58:53on the file size you
00:58:55can upload to the file manager i think it's like 50 megs but like you shouldn't be uploading images
00:59:00that's like anyways it's that would slow your site right down um so that's the file manager any
00:59:07questions on the file manager no it's fairly straightforward yeah so basically just uh
00:59:15upload everything slide images kind of so what we'll do now is we're almost done now so we'll go to
00:59:23change options as well so uh we'll go over the mobile stuff now so there's the rates so just
00:59:32underneath the rates you'll see uh uh all this stuff so mobile menu for standard so we'll have a look

01:00:48pin and you've a contact one you can see uh the contact is using a tick box location and book
01:00:56now
01:00:57is using check so so what we'll do is we'll pick gallery for uh for uh for that one there
01:01:06we'll hit save
01:01:10just for now i can take it off in a few minutes when we're done and i'll just refresh that
01:01:14page
01:01:14and you can see gallery's been added there so contact actually has a tick there but i'm we can change
01:01:21that
01:01:21to the uh to the so we can change that to contact so contact actually has an image itself as
01:01:30well so
01:01:30hit save go back to the mobile site now again and we'll reload and you can see yeah so you
01:01:38could kind
01:01:38of whatever you can kind of create uh uh buttons here based on these icons so you could have maybe
01:01:46a tick box you can maybe have this offer maybe or something like that but like location contact
01:01:50and gallery are kind of that's what they're for yeah yeah so that's uh mobile so what i'll do now
01:01:56i'll just remove the one i added there uh because just for now and i'll just uh hit save as

01:02:07and there's one other option you can do with mobile now as well you can kind of add uh tabbed
01:02:12menus on on on mobile you can kind of see him here so mobile menu first standard you can add

01:02:19kind of so you click add item and i'll just put in a book now book now and we'll just
01:02:26link it to one of your rates uh and we'll pick an image so there's no preview with these images
01:02:33so you can just check in the file manager uh and kind of know which picture you're gonna use for

01:02:39yeah so we'll just we'll just click that there uh we'll add another one just for now and we'll go
01:02:44offers uh we'll link to another rate and we'll just pick another image here somewhere so these are all
01:02:54the mobile images available so we'll go with bedroom 14 kind of and i think there's also a promote
01:03:03thing so if you want it to be highlighted more i'm not sure if this is styled now so we'll
01:03:07just
01:03:07uh we'll just tick it and see if it works so i'll hit save now we'll go back to the

01:03:17we'll just reload that page and you can see now it's after adding tabs so this is promoted
01:03:24so it stands out more so you could have a list of these down a few of these lists down

01:03:30if you wanted yeah uh so maybe for gallery or something like that so more essentially these
01:03:37are used for your most important pages kind of that get visited a lot kind of from mobile users
01:03:44so if you want to add them that's where you add them so that's in the change options
01:03:50um that's in the change options and it's uh mobile menu mobile menu for standard and the buttons at the
01:03:57bottom are mobile buttons so i'll just i'll remove those for now because they weren't there before we
01:04:03started anyway and i think everything's back to normal on mobile now so we'll just reload this page
01:04:10now again and the page is back to normal so perfect so that's that's uh the mobile thing now and
01:04:17i think
01:04:19that's almost everything there's just uh one more thing so the gallery page where we'll go to the
01:04:26gallery page uh so it's at the bottom it's very end so i'll show you how to add images to

01:04:33if you like or remove so you just go into the page properties again and you scroll down and it's

01:04:40it's the exact same as how you would do an image sequencer so like but you can upload 40 images
01:04:46to
01:04:46the gallery there's 16 in there at the moment so again you just click load available images you can
01:04:54add in whatever one you want because these are all uh from the file manager
01:05:02and that gets added to the bottom and again you can add titles but like it's not necessarily
01:05:07it's not necessary and you have date range and all that stuff you could you can reorder it as well
01:05:14if you get me so that's how you add images to the gallery page anyways i won't say that now
