00:00:04okay so we're recording now guys so once you log in I'll set you up at logins later on maybe
00:00:11tomorrow or something like that and you can have a go at it but once you log in you'll notice
00:00:15there
00:00:15there'll be a bar up along the top here so and it will say howdy yeah your name there so
00:00:21that's a
00:00:21right now I'm locked in as design editor so that that's where your name is here so this bar will
00:00:26let you edit the site and make changes to the site as you go so if you're on a particular
00:00:33page you can
00:00:33just click edit page up here and that will let you edit the page I'll go into that with more
00:00:37detail
00:00:37later and you can see we're on the home page at the moment so what we're going to do we're
00:00:42just
00:00:42going to go click up here on the left hand side the Fort Gary and this is going to bring
00:00:46us to the
00:00:47dashboard so right now the dashboard is blank so this is this just a blank page it just brings you
00:00:52into the back end of the site so it's blank at the moment so all the all the editing you'll
00:00:58be doing
00:00:59you'll be able to do it here on the left hand side so you see here posts so that's for
00:01:02your blog posts so
00:01:03you've got a blog on the site and I'll go through all of these later as we go through so
00:01:09we've got
00:01:09timeline stories that's another module that a page layout that you use on the site media is where you'll
00:01:15upload your PDFs your images for the site and pages is a list of all your pages so that are
00:01:24on the site
00:01:24so you can you can go to all the pages using this one here rooms this is out one of
00:01:30your modules so
00:01:32you can set you can set all the different room types so I think you've got queen rooms in there
00:01:36as
00:01:36well offers this is another module you can see these are all kind of modules they've got a pin here
00:01:41a pin
00:01:42icon here so you can see offers use you've also got events so this is um for I think you
00:01:50have a page
00:01:51on the site if I go back here dining to your nightly entertainment schedule so that's where you will
00:01:56edit inside an event events here on the left hand side I'll go through that as well you've got reviews
00:02:02and you've got gallery so we'll be going through these over today and tomorrow so what we'll start
00:02:08with is if I go to your site now so you can see this is your blog page okay so
00:02:14uh this uh that's
00:02:16the URL URL name up there it's a blog and you can see here this is the blog page so
00:02:22if I scroll down
00:02:23these are your blog posts you can see the folks uh a meeting place of the ages so if I
00:02:28can scroll down
00:02:29through them I can look at all of those if I like uh on the front end of the site
00:02:34if I want I can click
00:02:35edit page up here it'll bring me to the edit page here and this will bring me into uh the
00:02:42blog page
00:02:43itself so you can edit so there's not much we can change in there so I'm actually going to go
00:02:47back
00:02:47there a second um so what we could do uh we're going back to the the blog page now so
00:02:53we can click on
00:02:54any of the blog posts so I'll click on that now and this brings me into the blog post itself
00:03:00so uh you
00:03:01so this is what it looks like on the front end of the site so I can also click edit
00:03:05post here to go
00:03:07to edit it as I go but all I can also do I can click on posts here on the
00:03:12left hand side
00:03:14and it will show me all the blog posts uh inside on the site so if I want to you
00:03:20can see um if I scroll
00:03:22go back to the front of the site you can see this is the the first blog post that's uh
00:03:26available in the
00:03:27blog page and you can see it's the it's the first one here as well so I can click uh
00:03:32edit here if I
00:03:33like to change it or I can go back to the site and I can click edit post here
00:03:39we open that up there so this brings me into the the back end of the site now so here
00:03:46I can make
00:03:46changes to the the blog post itself so this is it uh the the forks meeting place for the ages
00:03:52so I can
00:03:53change the content here if I like uh on the site uh I'll just turn off a few things here
00:04:01okay uh so we can make that change there so if we go back to here now you can see
00:04:08these are all the
00:04:09blog posts on the site so you these are all the ones that are uh being shown uh so if
00:04:14you need to edit
00:04:15those so what I might do I might uh create our own blog posts so if we go back to
00:04:22the main site now so
00:04:23what I want to do I want to add in our new blog post so what we'll do we'll go
00:04:27back to the dashboard
00:04:28we'll go into posts and we'll click add add new so I'll just open that in a new tab
00:04:37and this gives me a new blank uh um blog post so we'll just say test blog post
00:04:47blog post we'll add in some content
00:04:54test okay so here is it's a basic text editor so you can highlight this you can make some of
00:05:00this
00:05:00bold if you like you can italic it you can under italic there you can add in some bullet points
00:05:08if
00:05:09you want using the text editor uh you can center it and you can right align it uh we'll just
00:05:15put it
00:05:15back the way it is uh we'll turn that off so when I highlight this now as well I can
00:05:20add a link to it
00:05:20using this chain icon here uh change chain chain icon here so I can link it to one of the
00:05:27pages on the
00:05:27site if I can copy and paste it in there or I can um I can go link options and
00:05:33so I'll just do that
00:05:36again guys uh just highlight that there we'll click this chain and you could just copy and paste in a
00:05:42link there or you can click on this gear icon here for link options so this will give you a
00:05:47list of uh
00:05:49of uh of the events on the page uh so you can actually link it to any of the pages
00:05:54here so there's a
00:05:55a gift cards page there I might just link it to that and it'll just put in the url for
00:05:59me so uh we
00:06:00can also make it open up in a new link if we want a new tab uh by clicking that
00:06:05box there but we won't
00:06:06for now we'll just click add link so it's after making that a a hyperlink now so inside in the
00:06:11blog post
00:06:14okay uh so what we'll do we'll uh we'll just uh we'll compare it to an existing one so if
00:06:21I click edit
00:06:22on this one this is an existing one at the moment you can see this one has uh the title
00:06:27as well and
00:06:28a bit of content we'll just have a look down through it so looking at this I can see we
00:06:32need to set a
00:06:32feature image as well so if we go back to the one we're just adding and we scroll down uh
00:06:37we you can
00:06:38see here it says set feature image so what I'm going to do I'm going to click on this and
00:06:42it's going to
00:06:44ask me to upload a file or if I click on media library here it'll give me all the images
00:06:49available to
00:06:50me on the site so what I might do I might just pick out one random one here I'll go
00:06:54for this one here
00:06:54so this is one of the images on the site we'll click select feature image here and that's after
00:06:59being said as a feature image now so um so I've added in a bit of text and a title
00:07:06and an image
00:07:06so what I want to do I'll just click preview and I'll see how that looks on the site so
00:07:10it opens it up
00:07:11in the new tab so we can get a preview of the blog post so you can see it's a
00:07:16test blog post it's uh
00:07:17it has test test test and it has the hyperlink there and it's using that image as the background
00:07:23there on the site so if we go back now I can click save it as a draft if I
00:07:28want uh this will this will
00:07:30save it as a draft so it won't be live on the site but you'll save all the changes so
00:07:35we might just do
00:07:35that now click save draft and if we go back now to the blog post page on the left hand
00:07:45side you can
00:07:45see um the latest one I after creating it's called a uh test blog post and it's a draft so
00:07:53uh if I
00:07:54click what I could also do I can click quick edit here and this will give me a few options
00:07:59here as
00:08:00well so I could change the I could publish this if I want and add it to the site so
00:08:03I'll just click
00:08:04publish and we can see how it looks just for a second on the site click update and we'll go
00:08:09back
00:08:10to the the blog page so what I'm going to do I'm just going to refresh this page guys
00:08:18you can see now it's after adding in a our new uh test blog post there as the first one
00:08:23there on the
00:08:23list and that's the the latest one we're after creating so that we just created that so if I can
00:08:28I click into that it will take me into this page it'll show me this image it has the title
00:08:34and has
00:08:34the the text here uh so that's how you'd add a blog post there guys uh is that okay guys
00:08:41uh yeah okay
00:08:45cool so what I'll do I'll just go back to the the post page here and I'll remove that now
00:08:50so I what I
00:08:51can do I'll just click a quick edit here and I'm going to change it back to a draft so
00:08:55that will remove
00:08:56it from the site now as well uh but again you probably don't want that on your site um so
00:09:01what
00:09:01I'll do I'll just click trash page reloads and it goes in it goes into your trash folder here so
00:09:10if I
00:09:10click on trash here it's in here and I can delete it permanently here so I'll just remove that now
00:09:20yes we'll go back to blog post now
00:09:24so uh we're back in the post page here so these are all the ones that are on the site
00:09:29so if you wanted
00:09:30instead of clicking add new you could duplicate a one uh duplicate an existing one if you want so
00:09:35if you're looking at the the uh the blog page like this and you're going down through and you
00:09:40you want something similar um you could just duplicate it so uh I want I want to use that same
00:09:45image or
00:09:46something like that but king king's park uh is that one there so if we go back to the
00:09:51posts now you can see this is king's park here and I can just click duplicate this so this this
00:09:56will
00:09:56just make a copy of it now so I can click duplicate duplicate this and page refreshes and it's after
00:10:03it's after adding an exact copy up here so it's a draft right now uh so what I'll do I'll
00:10:09just click
00:10:09edit um quick edit there and I'll change this uh to test there and we'll just remove this here
00:10:18and we'll just click update now so now that's an exact copy of the the one below but uh we've
00:10:26changed
00:10:26the title of it there so uh you can also when you hover over it you can click on view
00:10:32here
00:10:33so if you just want to see what that post is you can click view and it'll bring you into
00:10:37the page
00:10:37itself so that's handy there we'll go back now and
00:10:47so I think we've covered everything so you can see there's a there's a few uh tabs up here so
00:10:53you've got
00:10:54all so you can view all the blog posts so there's 32 of them you've got mine so that would
00:10:58be if you
00:10:59meta change so you can see I have one there's one there so that's just because I created this page
00:11:05here uh the test one here uh but if he made a change um it would be year ones so
00:11:10you can see all
00:11:11the published ones you can see any ones that are offline using the draft and uh so so you can
00:11:17see my
00:11:17test one is draft here so what I'll do I'll just I'll remove that for now uh because you won't
00:11:22want it on
00:11:23the site okay so we'll go into trash and we'll remove it permanently
00:11:35permanently so uh guys that's uh adding a blog post and copying one and adding in images and
00:11:42stuff like that is that okay so far that's the blog posts uh yes uh just wonder can I ask
00:11:49question in
00:11:49the middle of uh training or should I ask you in the end of training um yeah you you ask
00:11:57away there
00:11:57um and I'll see if I can answer okay um so for the feature image uh do you know the
00:12:05requirement can I
00:12:06upload any sizes or it has a specific requirement feature image uh yeah I'll be going through that
00:12:14tomorrow with you um I'll go through the media library with you tomorrow but uh what be best if
00:12:20the the image is large enough anyways because we can always crop it down using the system uh but I'll
00:12:26go through all that tomorrow with you as well if that's okay if that's okay yeah um and then for
00:12:33the
00:12:33blog post I see that there's an SEO um thing uh I don't know do I need to do anything
00:12:41with an SEO with
00:12:42the blog uh or um you wouldn't necessarily need to do that that's more for um the digital side for
00:12:50for us um if there's a lot of things in the system that you won't have to use um and
00:12:55we'll probably
00:12:56limit it a bit more for you um as as time goes uh but yeah you you won't have to
00:13:03worry about SEO stuff
00:13:04uh I'm not sure pretty sure okay perfect and then um if you go back um there's like oh I
00:13:11saw there it
00:13:12called corner something uh do I need to know about like yeah cornerstone okay uh sorry where is that sorry
00:13:24so you see like it's all published and then cornerstone content uh I'll just click on it there
00:13:30we'll have a look and see what it is uh uh yeah no I'm pretty sure that doesn't apply um
00:13:36for you
00:13:37anyways you you don't need to worry about that okay okay so that's a the blog post so uh if
00:13:44I go back
00:13:44to your site now uh here if I go hotel you've got a hotel history page so this is a
00:13:52um different page
00:13:53type and you can see it's got the title hotel history and if I scroll down through this it's got
00:13:59like a timeline view here so you've got all the years and all the history throughout the um throughout
00:14:05the hotel so what I'll do now I'll just show you how to edit this because it's a this is
00:14:10it's only
00:14:11on this page and so if I click edit page uh we'll go into the edit page up here and
00:14:17you can see we can
00:14:18only add it we the only thing we can change in here is the um the title of it so
00:14:23it's only hotel history so
00:14:25we don't uh we can't change the timeline here so if we go back to the site now I'll just
00:14:30click back
00:14:32uh we can only change the title there so to update um the years I need the content down here
00:14:38you'll
00:14:38have to do that in the back end so if I go back to the dashboard here there's a tab
00:14:42here called uh
00:14:42timeline story so if we click on that
00:14:48and you can see here um this is um the uh the timeline story so you can see you've got
00:14:551913
00:14:561924 uh 1948 so that that's all of them there and if you need to make a change uh so
00:15:01if we go
00:15:03close off a few of these tabs there it's not as confusing so if you need to make a change
00:15:08to one of
00:15:09these uh to the content say I want to change 1948 and I need to change you probably won't be
00:15:14but if you if you do want to update it sometime uh we'll go back to the uh the back
00:15:19end now we're
00:15:20inside in timeline stories and we said we want to edit uh 1948 so I can click quick edit if
00:15:26I want
00:15:26I can change the year of it here if I want and that's uh pretty much what I could do
00:15:31there if I
00:15:31want to remove it I can click go over here and change it to a draft so if I change
00:15:36that to draft and
00:15:36just click update you can see it's got the draft icon beside it if I come up here then and
00:15:42we
00:15:42reload the page you can see now 1948 got removed from the list there uh so that's how you'd remove
00:15:50one of them if you want so what I'll do I'll put that back now so we'll go to quick
00:15:54edit and we'll go
00:15:55to publish and we'll update that and we'll put it back on the site so we'll just make sure it
00:16:01went back
00:16:01on now you can see uh it's after going back on now now that I published it again okay so
00:16:08if you want
00:16:09to edit uh the content so you click on edit here so we click on edit and it brings us
00:16:16into here you
00:16:17can see uh this is the title again we can change that if we want and you have the text
00:16:21editor here
00:16:22so you can you can uh change that there so you go uh this is where you'd update the text
00:16:27there uh so if
00:16:29we wanted to make a change we'd update the the text here uh once you're happy you can click uh
00:16:34preview
00:16:35changes if you want just to see what it looks like um but when you've made the change and you're
00:16:40happy
00:16:40with it you can just click update here so if you click update here it will uh save the changes
00:16:45to it
00:16:45there so if I go back to timeline story we can go back so I can duplicate this as well
00:16:52if I want
00:16:52uh so I can make an exact copy of this so if I click duplicate
00:16:59give the site a second it comes up it comes up here to the top now again so I can
00:17:03um uh change
00:17:05this so I can click edit now we'll go in and we'll change this one around
00:17:11so say I want to change this to maybe uh 2002 or something like that and we'll just add in
00:17:18some
00:17:20uh dummy content here as well and we'll just click preview now and it will show you what it will
00:17:26look
00:17:26like or wait sorry preview doesn't work with that if we just click publish now
00:17:37and we go back to the site now and we just click refresh
00:17:42we'll scroll down now and you can see it's after adding in 2002 there and you can add in a
00:17:48some new content there as well if you want so what I'll do I'll go back now and we'll just
00:17:53remove this
00:17:53as well because we don't want to leave it on your site too long so what we'll do we'll go
00:17:58quick edit
00:17:58and I'm going to put it as a draft now again
00:18:03date and what we'll do we'll remove it
00:18:08click trash and you can see it goes in it goes into trash up here so you don't have to
00:18:13delete
00:18:13it permanently you could leave it there if you want but I'll just make sure it's tidy and we'll
00:18:17just delete it permanently there we'll go back to all now again so uh if you do want to add
00:18:23a
00:18:24new timeline uh to the to the site and you don't want to click duplicate this you can also just
00:18:30click
00:18:31add new up here so if we click add new add new and we can give it a title here
00:18:38so we can go um 1956
00:18:40or something like that and you can it's the exact same as the other one we'll just put in some
00:18:45dummy
00:18:45text and you can click publish then as well so i i won't bother clicking publish this time because
00:18:51you've seen it before but we'll just we'll save this one as a draft maybe uh you're working on it
00:18:56and
00:18:57um and you you just want somebody else in the hotel to have a look at it uh before you
00:19:02add it to the
00:19:03site you can just save it as a draft and there it is there um you can save it for
00:19:08later or something
00:19:08like that okay so we'll just uh we'll remove that now as well it's in here so delete it permanently
00:19:24mine
00:19:27yeah so is uh is that okay guys the history page on your site so that's just a different um
00:19:33page layout you have there yeah yeah cool so that's how you would edit that one that page there so
00:19:40it's
00:19:41in under the hotel history there okay so we'll go back to the dashboard now again and we'll just click
00:19:49on dashboard there so uh there's quite a bit in the media library so this what um the media library
00:19:56would
00:19:56be the images for the site so what i'll do i'll leave that one till tomorrow and we'll just uh
00:20:02we'll
00:20:02move on to the next one now so uh what i'll probably do i'll just move to events next so
00:20:08if we go here to
00:20:14events let's wait for it to load there uh so the events uh module is uh the nightly entertainment
00:20:21schedule so this is something you update frequently um so i'll go through this one for you here so this
00:20:27is the nightly entertainment schedule and it uh this page pulls um uh all these events from the events
00:20:36module on the uh back end so all all of these ones here okay so uh if we go back
00:20:45here now to advance
00:20:46so it's after loading now so we're inside in the events tab over here so these are all the events
00:20:51that and you can see these are all draft uh because these are most likely from july or from may
00:20:56they're from may uh so they're set as draft so they're not being used on the site so what i
00:21:02like to
00:21:02do for this one if i there's this filter option here so you can click all dates now so if
00:21:08i just
00:21:08want to look at the august ones so these are the ones that are on the site right now and
00:21:11we just click
00:21:11filter give it a second so these are all the all the uh the ones that are on the site
00:21:21at the moment
00:21:22these are the august ones so these are live on the site at the moment so if you need to
00:21:25make a change to
00:21:26these so uh if i have a look now we scroll up so if i need to say you need
00:21:32to update this maybe the
00:21:33time has changed or something like that uh you you can edit it here so if we go just look
00:21:37at events
00:21:38here we can click uh quick edit to change the name if you want or put it to draft as
00:21:43well so if maybe
00:21:44you don't want it on the site anymore um because we're gone past the first of august or something you
00:21:49can put it to draft there and that will remove it from the site there or if you want to
00:21:53edit the
00:21:54content so this one's slightly different so you can see here uh it has a little bit of information
00:22:01text in under the main title so uh you can see this is the main title up here at the
00:22:06very top uh so down
00:22:08here at the very bottom you can see in the x sorry i'm actually closing that off there if we
00:22:14open this
00:22:14this is where the uh details of the the the the dates and time goes so it goes into the
00:22:21uh that
00:22:21box down there at the bottom so what we'll do now um we'll just we'll add in a dummy one
00:22:27a test one
00:22:28there so i can show you what it's like okay so if i scroll up uh we'll just well i'll
00:22:37do i'll just click
00:22:37add new event up here to add a new one say it's for september we'll just put in a test
00:22:42one there for
00:22:42september and we'll just put in my name and we'll put in a test and if we scroll down to
00:22:51the bottom here
00:22:52uh to the extra we'll push september 1st and we'll put in the time uh we'll say we're i'm playing
00:23:00at
00:23:03hbm so that's how you'd add an event there so we'll just click publish
00:23:14okay so that's published now so if we go to this now we reload
00:23:22and it should be added to the bottom of the list now so you can see here it says lean
00:23:27test september
00:23:291st uh at um 8 p.m so it's similar to the previous one so when you're doing this for
00:23:35the september month
00:23:37so what what i advise you to do is if you just um if we go back now to events
00:23:47back here to uh add fence and what we'll do we'll just uh click on
00:24:09uh yeah you can you can delete the the older ones if you like uh so like like before so
00:24:15you can hover
00:24:16over and put it to trash if you like so it's it's not as crowded in here um so yeah
00:24:23so what i would do
00:24:25then so if i go so we'll go with august month we'll go filter so uh yeah you can you
00:24:33can remove those as
00:24:34well so if you're doing um the september one so what you can do you can click uh quick edit
00:24:40and set
00:24:41it to draft if you like or you could delete it as well and then you can just click add
00:24:45new event
00:24:46and add them in like the previous one there so so what i do i put it to draft so
00:24:52that's no longer
00:24:53available on the site and i do you'd have to do that for every single one for august and then
00:24:58you'd
00:24:58add in a a new version of uh for for uh september so what i'll do if in september we
00:25:08have the same
00:25:08artist uh performing can we just change the date to september does it work like that
00:25:17yeah you could you could probably do that you could click um see the thing with this is it displays
00:25:22them
00:25:23uh by most recent so uh so if you say um uh you want to grant is playing again next
00:25:32month uh but he
00:25:33might it might be in a different order so you you'd need to you uh you'd need to uh re
00:25:40-add them um
00:25:42to to make them display correctly in the list if if you if that makes sense um
00:25:49no i don't understand sorry sorry i thought i thought uh with the artist you can change the date but
00:25:57it seems like you need a certain order yeah so if we go to so say we want to change
00:26:06this one here
00:26:06we'll click uh edit there we'll come into it now so we're in it now and we'll we'll just change
00:26:13it to
00:26:13september to see what what we can do uh so i'll change that september 1st there and we'll click update
00:26:37so that's updated now so if we go back to this page now we'll refresh it
00:26:49so you can see uh it's after updating but it's after staying in the same position
00:26:55so these are displayed in the date that they're in order um of the date they're created so this one
00:27:02was
00:27:03created um before this one uh before aaron here on the left so they're displayed um so so we can
00:27:10actually update the the the date and reorder them uh per se so you you need to re-add them
00:27:20so the display order is only in the order of which they were created uh yes
00:27:29so i can take a note of it and maybe get the guys to look at it and see if
00:27:33we can change something
00:27:35about it changes around so um so that we you can just edit the the date on it and reorder
00:27:41them
00:27:41uh but i'll take a note of that now
00:27:54so uh so uh what i'll do i'll just put that back to this now
00:28:21and that's back to normal now so i'll i'll bring that up with the guys i'll see if there's something
00:28:25we can do but for now what you would have to do you'd have to re-add them uh in
00:28:30order for them to
00:28:31display correctly in the correct order um if that's okay guys uh but i'll bring it up with the guys
00:28:37and
00:28:37see if we if there's something we can do about that okay um and for this post can we have
00:28:45photos or hyperlink
00:28:50somewhere with the artist okay so well for for this one here um i'm not too sure we can have
00:29:00a look we'll
00:29:00we'll see so what we'll do we'll go to the test one i met and we can we can have
00:29:05a look i'm not sure
00:29:08we can add a photo because this is just the way the module is so it kind of just displays
00:29:12a name and
00:29:12a a uh some detail about it well i don't think so so if we
00:29:19the reason why i asked because when we have a mock-up uh the design mock-up um i saw
00:29:25that we can upload
00:29:26photos for the rt for the events here is it yeah okay cool i'll take a look so i i'll
00:29:35just have a
00:29:35look now i'll just check so i'll just go with this image here and we'll just click update
00:29:48i will have a look so i'll just refresh that now
00:29:55and it's the bottom one it's mean to yes so um it was this something similar to the
00:30:00the mock-up you saw i think so yeah uh yeah so um for in order for that to work
00:30:09really um you'd
00:30:10want it to be consistent so they'd all need an image or something like that but i'll just i'll go
00:30:15through that now again with you and i'll show you how i added in that image um so uh so
00:30:20i'll just
00:30:20remove that now so inside in the events
00:30:26just go to event and we'll what we'll do i'll filter the august months again so
00:30:34yeah and we'll just go to uh my event there so we'll click edit here okay and you can see
00:30:42it's got
00:30:43the title there and it's after adding it in again but this will be blank here so if we click
00:30:47uh remove
00:30:48feature image so what i did to add in the image i clicked uh set feature image here on the
00:30:54right
00:30:54inside and loads up the media media library or it might it might open up with uh with drop files
00:31:00here so you can upload an image that way but if you click this tab here it will say media
00:31:04library
00:31:05here uh from here you can pick out the any of the images that are available on the site so
00:31:10i'll go
00:31:10with this one this time i would click set feature image so that's after setting a feature image
00:31:15inside in the events module there uh so we'll just click update uh i have a question i see that
00:31:22there's a button say x media or what's that for uh sorry what what was that just like under the
00:31:31permanent link and there's a box say x media uh what's that for do you know is that not like
00:31:39where
00:31:39you add quality no x media um oh add media here this here uh so that's if you were working
00:31:48within
00:31:48the text box uh you could add in an image there i'll show you that in a little bit you
00:31:52probably
00:31:52wouldn't use it for for this one here but i'll go through that one in a little bit uh as
00:31:57well on a

00:33:27this one because it'll be handy in the future and you want to click uh events archive okay so and
00:33:34if
00:33:34we scroll down here you can see this is where you can where it gets updated here so with that
00:33:39just with
00:33:39that page in particular you need to go to site settings and uh events archive to edit the title of
00:33:46there so there's august there so maybe next month you'll need to change that to september yeah okay
00:33:53so that is that title there or the the text down here is because this this uh page type is
00:33:59slightly
00:33:59different from the restaurant so it needs to be changed in the site settings so that's in under
00:34:04site settings here and events are so you can while i'm in here now i might as well uh
00:34:11uh what it is so site settings here you can go to contact details so these are the this is
00:34:18where
00:34:18your map is so um i you probably wouldn't have to change this um because it's going to say this
00:34:23stay the same for the website so you can you can probably leave that alone uh so reservations these are
00:34:29just uh room types um some reservations we'll i will we'll come across these as we're going through
00:34:35the training so you've also got a newsletter here so that's that's on the site somewhere as well we'll
00:34:41be able to figure it out later so but the site footer if you need to update the site footer
00:34:45so if
00:34:45we scroll down to the very bottom of the of the um of your site you can see these three
00:34:52kind of cards
00:34:52here so you've got gift cards uh with a bit of text and a book now you've got fort gary
00:34:57hotel and you've
00:34:58got join our newsletter so if we go back to the site settings uh and we're in site footer you
00:35:03can see here
00:35:04column one text is the uh the deal uh is the first one if i go back it's the yeah
00:35:12it's the gift card
00:35:13one here so it's deal with for business so you can see gift cards there is column it's the title
00:35:18uh the
00:35:19next one column two is the fort gary hotel so this is the uh address and the last one is
00:35:25the join our
00:35:25newsletter so that's where you'd update the the footer so if you need to update your address or something
00:35:31maybe maybe you need to put in a postcode or something or change your email address there
00:35:36say um you can you can update it there in site settings um on in under uh site footer
00:35:45uh again also amenities is here so these uh icons so uh if we go back to the site now
00:35:53and if we go to
00:35:54sleep and if we go into one of the rooms there click more it'll bring us into this page here
00:36:03so you can
00:36:04see uh the feature amenities are here so these uh this text here is being used for uh this page
00:36:11for
00:36:11this room so it's uh these are being pulled from the amenities inside in the site settings so you can
00:36:17see um the uh the coffee uh and the the times there so i think we had to do an
00:36:23update recently because
00:36:24that was wrong on the site so this is where you change it here so you you can make a
00:36:28lot a couple
00:36:29of changes in the site settings there so can we change the icon uh the icons yeah so if we
00:36:36let's have a
00:36:38look we put our yeah so you can you can exit remove this one i won't do it right now
00:36:43so what i might do
00:36:44uh you can see here if i put my mouse over these this here i can minus it so i
00:36:49can remove that row
00:36:50altogether if we click plus it will add in a new one and it just gives me a blank blank
00:36:55one here so
00:36:56if i would go test we'll click uh add me add image so these images were added into the media
00:37:03library so
00:37:04if you were if you wanted to change the icon to something different you would have to um upload it
00:37:09to
00:37:09the media library later on uh so i'm pretty sure they should be so this here they are here uh
00:37:15they're
00:37:15all they're all there so you can see these these are um smaller ones so you can see the the
00:37:20size of
00:37:20them they're just the dimensions of it there so if you were making a new one uh you could upload
00:37:25to the
00:37:25site and change it that way on the site but it seems like you guys have a set of icon
00:37:31and um you guys don't
00:37:34have a different icon so i don't know how can we ask you guys create icons or uh yeah you
00:37:41can contact
00:37:42the design at avio.com uh with any design updates so you could ask us to maybe create some new
00:37:48ones if
00:37:48you need them for for the site um there might there might be a cost for that uh depending how
00:37:53many you
00:37:53need done or something like that um but yeah right now you've got these uh these ones available to you
00:37:59on on the site but any any design updates you need you can send them to design at avio.com

00:39:24this is the front page so that's the home page so uh you can see when you're hovering over these

00:39:29can click edit you can click quick edit you can view it and duplicate it so um like the other
00:39:35ones
00:39:35quick edit just gives you a little preview of the thing of the page so you can change the title
00:39:40uh you
00:39:41can uh change around all these stuff you can put it to draft if you want so that's basically what
00:39:47you'd be doing um with the quick edit if you wanted to remove a page from a site you click
00:39:52change it to
00:39:52a draft and you just update it there okay we'll close that there but um what what you'll be doing
00:39:58most of tonight uh you can just click on edit here to edit a page uh so that's in under
00:40:03the page tab
00:40:04or in here you can click edit if you want to just view the page you can just click view
00:40:11and that will bring me into the the page itself so you can have a look at the page
00:40:15so if i scroll down you can see these these are um all the modules that are on this page
00:40:19right now
00:40:21you can see if i keep scrolling down through all of this
00:40:27so there are all the modules you're using on the site right now
00:40:30uh so let's scroll up so say you want to edit one of these you you could um
00:40:35you could do it from the front end you can click edit page here or you can go back to
00:40:39the dashboard
00:40:42uh you can go into pages again
00:40:45and you could scroll and you can click edit here as well if you want but what what might be
00:40:50best and
00:40:50what you might find easier is if you go to the page on the front end of the site
00:40:58and you just click edit page up here
00:41:03okay so this brings us into the the the back end of the of the the the home page so
00:41:10you can see
00:41:11here these are your slide images here so it's this is your hero module here um so you can see
00:41:16these are
00:41:16the three images being used at the moment on the site if we change that uh three images um you
00:41:26know
00:41:26that like that you mean effect when it keep happening with if we change it like change to the new
00:41:33image
00:41:34so if you wanted to change one of these images here is it yeah okay so if you yeah
00:41:44oh no go ahead okay yeah so if you wanted to change um the image on the home page so
00:41:50if you just look at
00:41:51the is it side here we'll just look at it here if you want to say change this picture this
00:41:57image here
00:41:58uh the the dog here on the with the dog pillow uh you could click um add gallery here
00:42:06and you'll go into your media library again and you can pick out one of these images and you
00:42:10i'll go for this one uh go for this one this time and we click select that gets added into
00:42:16the the
00:42:17the uh list of images there and if i can i can click and drag i can bring this so
00:42:24this will appear
00:42:24first on the site now uh so that's where that would appear there uh and if i want to remove
00:42:29it uh
00:42:30the older one the dog one i can just click that x there and remove it um i won't i
00:42:35won't for now
00:42:35because uh it's on the site so we'll just click x we'll just remove the one i was uh i
00:42:41was looking
00:42:41at there so uh i think that got added in as well uh so what we'll do i'll just go
00:42:48to pages again
00:42:50we'll just leave and what will i don't want to be messing with your home page so what we'll do

00:42:55just make a copy of it and uh we can change it around then and i can show you all

00:42:59so to to make a what we'd recommend if you if you're if you want to make a new page

00:43:06go on the site you find the page you want so say you want a page that looks just like

00:43:12here uh and then you can go back to pages here and you can click duplicate this page so i

00:43:19make an exact copy of this page so we'll click duplicate this
00:43:23here so the system makes a a new copy of it there so i think it's after getting added here
00:43:29so it's a
00:43:30draft here so what i'm going to do i'm just going to go um uh edit here and if i
00:43:36wanted to i could
00:43:37have went quick edit but uh what we'll do i'll change the title of it and i'll change it to

00:49:41blog page we'll just click update and that's after updating the um button there so you can also if you
00:49:49click on it you can change the text in the button so we'll just i'm after removing it completely uh

00:50:02with that d and we'll just click out of it and it's after updating the text in the uh in
00:50:07the button
00:50:07there so we can click it and we can also uh you can also change what the detected in here

00:50:51page so you can see you've got the text here on the left and you've got an image here you've

00:50:55images here so you can look through the three different images so if we go back to the edit page
00:51:00you can see these are the three images here so if i want to remove them and we'll add in
00:51:05our new ones so
00:51:06what i'll do i'll uh pick out some different ones here so if we can scroll through these uh these
00:51:13are
00:51:13all in your media library so what i'll do i'll just pick out this one here uh we'll pick up
00:51:18this one so
00:51:18you can select multiple ones i will pick out this one so you can see they've all got ticks there
00:51:23we'll
00:51:23click select and they're all after getting added in there to uh the to the image text row module so
00:51:31that's number two uh so i think that's everything now so you can see it's ending that's the next one
00:51:36down so uh you can also hide it on mobile if you want so maybe you uh you don't want
00:51:41the page too long
00:51:41on mobile and you uh you uh don't want this module on mobile but you can you can click hide
00:51:47on mobile
00:51:47there if you want so we'll just leave that on no uh so when you've made all your changes to
00:51:53that now you
00:51:53can scroll back up to the top and you can click preview uh your changes or you can just click
00:51:59update if you
00:52:01want we'll just update that now you can see the the little ball spins around there and once it stops
00:52:06it's uh it's done so that's it done there so we'll just go back to the page we have opened
00:52:11in this tab
00:52:12and we'll reload and remember we swapped it should swap around now so you you've got the girl here with
00:52:17the the ball and you've got uh the updated text that we've added in here uh with more info so

00:52:24link to the blog page now so if i just click it uh it'll open in the new tab and

00:52:29blog page that we just um there okay so and you've got these images on it as well so that's

00:52:43next one so the next module is the offers one here so this is the offers here so you've got
00:52:50the wellness
00:52:51wellness and you've got the yoga and you've got the bed and breakfast so if we go back to the
00:52:56edit page
00:52:56page page now and we scroll down through the modules again so they're all here inside in this module tab
00:53:02inside this if we scroll down past all this so we're on number three so it's called offers and events
00:53:09okay so uh this is a fairly uh simple one so you can see these are the three you've in
00:53:16there at the
00:53:16moment and you can see you've got um on the left hand side is the all the ones that are
00:53:21available
00:53:23okay so um so you can see these are the three that are being used so there are all the
00:53:28offers so the
00:53:29offers are actually set in the offers module over here on the left hand side so if you want to
00:53:34um add
00:53:35in a new offer you will um you can do it there on the left hand side as well uh
00:53:40so i'll just open that
00:53:41up and you can have a quick look at it okay so these are the offers inside in the on
00:53:48the left hand side
00:53:48these are the default offers so you can create there's the bed and breakfast the yoga and the
00:53:52wellness one there so uh that's that's um that's the three offers there that that are being pulled
00:53:59into the uh you go back here that's being pulled into the offer and events module on on the site
00:54:07so that's that's them there so i can remove i can remove one of these if i want i can
00:54:11click minus on
00:54:12that and it becomes back available over here on the left hand side uh so i'll go through maybe tomorrow

00:54:18the offers over here how to add a new offer and it's pretty similar to the other stuff um it's
00:54:24just like click add new offer and you can edit quick edit and all that stuff but we'll go through
00:54:28that tomorrow um well when we're training tomorrow okay uh so that is the offers and events so we
00:54:37removed uh the yoga wellness and we'll go back to the site now so see yeah we'll just click
00:54:46we'll scroll up now we'll just click update very good
00:54:57and that's done there we'll go to the site now reload and we'll see how it looks with uh just

00:55:03maybe yeah so you can see the two offers uh they're displaying correctly so it works fine uh this one's

00:55:11the left this one's on the right and we we just we remove the spa one i think or yoga

00:55:18think okay so that is the um offers and events module uh so if we go back now to the
00:55:25edit or we'll
00:55:26look down here so we've got a wonderful wedding here so this is uh another module it's got a background
00:55:31image of a wedding and it's got a title text and a button so we'll have a look at that

00:55:37so we're back at the edit page now with the cms training and we'll scroll down and yeah we'll keep
00:55:44scrolling so number three and we're on to number four now so this is called the highlighting feature box
00:55:53okay so you've got wonderful weddings here so that's the title so um i'll just update this maybe a quick
00:56:01change so you can see the difference uh again you can update the text here
00:56:11add in some stuff there and you can update the button again so that's uh gone through that again
00:56:17so you can click uh we can remove the link all together we can just click this and hit the
00:56:22gear
00:56:23uh you can change the the link if you want there if you want or you could just copy and
00:56:28paste in a
00:56:29link maybe it's a link to a say youtube video that you have or something or some external site
00:56:34that you want to link to or something like that so i'll just cancel on that we don't need to
00:56:39update
00:56:40that one at all um so you see so first part was the the title the text and the button
00:56:46so the next thing
00:56:47we need to set is the background image so if we scroll down a little bit it says image here
00:56:51and you can see um this is the image that's being used on the the front end of the site
00:56:56um
00:56:58right now okay so what we'll do i'll just remove this one or yeah i can remove it so i
00:57:04can just hit
00:57:04this x here and it's after removing it you can see no image selected here so we'll add in a
00:57:10new one
00:57:11there we'll click add image and it loads up the media library again and i will pick out a new
00:57:17image so
00:57:17we'll i'll go for this one this this time i will click select and what we'll do we'll just hit
00:57:23update
00:57:24so you'll have to scroll up to to update or you will go uh or if you want to click
00:57:29preview changes
00:57:30there so we'll click update
00:57:38and we'll just go back to the new tab so what's probably best guys when you're working on this
00:57:43is to have it open in two tabs so the front end of the site in the back end so
00:57:47you can just
00:57:48um look at the changes you're making so you can see i'm after adding in that background image there
00:57:53i changed it to wonderful days and i added in some dummy text there uh that is the that module
00:57:58there
00:57:58okay so the next module it's uh it's this one here uh if we go edit page so it's fairly
00:58:06similar to the
00:58:07the one we know the second one we did so the image text row one uh so we'll scroll down
00:58:12again and
00:58:12it's probably called it's called the same thing again so we're on number five i think so right
00:58:17yeah so it's called an image text row so what i might do for this one i'll just change the
00:58:22text to
00:58:23the left so the order so detect this time the text will appear on the left and what i'll do

00:58:28remove i'll just have one image in there this time for editing it so we'll what we'll do we'll click

00:59:24bar there you can you can see it gives me um a drag to reorder uh mouse to it so

00:59:30just click i can drag and i can while i'm dragging scroll up with my mouse uh scroll up and
00:59:37you can see
00:59:37it gives me an available spot up there so if i release now it's after putting that up above so
00:59:43if i scroll back up now you can see image text row is it's after becoming number five there so
00:59:50so i'll just uh hit update now guys
00:59:59uh and we'll go back to this page now and we'll refresh

01:00:53an events module the reviews one uh you can set the reviews over here on the left hand side um

01:01:04it's got a background image so if we go to the page now so this is the background image here

01:01:09want to change that image again we'll just click uh remove there so we'll click add image now to add
01:01:15in a new image we'll pick out a new image there we'll go with that one there and we'll click
01:01:22select
01:01:22so that image is after going in for reviews now and down here you have reviews so you you can
01:01:28see it's
01:01:29review one review two review three four and five so if you um click here it gives you um a
01:01:36list of the
01:01:36available reviews so these reviews have been set in the the left and side column here inside and
01:01:42reviews so i'll just i'll give you a quick look at this as well so it's very it's similar to
01:01:46the
01:01:46events one so you can see it's got review five four three two one so there are the reviews so
01:01:52you can
01:01:52add in some new reviews later on i'll show you that one tomorrow as well guys so we'll just click
01:01:57exit here we'll go back to this so you can see it's using reviews um one two three four so
01:02:04say i only wanted to
01:02:05use uh three reviews at the moment so i can click it up click on that there and what we'll
01:02:10do we'll
01:02:10just click update again guys uh try that again date okay so we'll go back to the page now we'll
01:02:30refresh the
01:02:31cms training page that we cloned there earlier on okay so now you can see it's after reducing the
01:02:37amount of reviews there inside in this module and we've changed the background image on it as well
01:02:43yeah so uh we'll scroll down a bit further and you can see this is the image text row one
01:02:47again
01:02:47so we won't go near go through that one again so this um it looks similar to the the wedding
01:02:54one we had
01:02:54up above so this has been reused again uh so say we want to remove that we don't we don't
01:03:00want that
01:03:00on the page anymore so if we go back to the edit page now i will scroll down through it
01:03:06again so you've

01:03:52remove layout there if you want as well there's a plus so you can add in um uh one as
01:03:59well so if i
01:03:59click uh add layout it gives me an option of all the modules that are available to you so you

01:04:04you you can add in another reviews one if you want you can add in another offer offer an event
01:04:10uh you've
01:04:10also got the the image text row you've got the highlight feature block so they're similar to
01:04:17uh they're all the ones we've used already on the site so we can add in an extra one if
01:04:21we want but
01:04:22what we want to do we want to remove it so we're going to remove this one from the site
01:04:26right now so
01:04:27we'll click remove layout and it asks me am i sure and i'll just click remove now again
01:04:31so okay so uh so that's removed now as well so if uh so we'll just move on to the
01:04:39next one so the next
01:04:39module is called two columns uh okay so if we look at that we'll see what it's like on the
01:04:45site so
01:04:45it's basically um uh two images side by side one's got fitness center the other's got local public and
01:04:51there are the two images there and it's got two buttons there as well so this is two the two
01:04:57columns
01:04:57module here so if you need to update this you can change that to name if you want and you
01:05:05can change
01:05:05the link as well so you can remove you could actually remove it all together if you want to
01:05:10um you so if you've removed it there you want to add in a button again you can click select
01:05:15link
01:05:15and you can type in uh you can choose one of the let's say my brain keeps going to the
01:05:22blog go with
01:05:23the blog and we'll go link and we'll put blog in as the text uh the link text and we'll
01:05:29have it open
01:05:30in a new tab as well so uh we'll just click add link and you can see it's after adding
01:05:35in a
01:05:35call to action there with the going to the blog um we've changed the title if you want to change
01:05:40the
01:05:40image we can click uh remove here we click add image now again and we'll pick this image here and
01:05:48we'll click select and we've updated that image there now okay so uh so the one on the right we'll
01:05:56leave the one on the right alone now we'll see how that looks on the site we'll just click update
01:06:13okay so that's updated now so if you remember we're we're working on the two column one there
01:06:17and we also removed uh we also removed the um i can't remember what was it was it about spa
01:06:23or
01:06:24something uh i think the spa but it was similar to the wedding days module here so we also remove
01:06:30that as well so if we scroll down you can see it's not it's no longer there and it's just
01:06:33got the two
01:06:34column you can see the changes we made there we've got a new title it's called gym uh it's linking
01:06:39to
01:06:39the blog page so if i click that it opens in a new tab because i i ticked that um
01:06:43uh radio uh check
01:06:45box to open in a new tab so we'll close that off and we left um yoga public uh the
01:06:50same so it's it's
01:06:51still linked to discover there okay uh if we scroll down now again it looks like uh the last module
01:06:58on
01:06:58this page is a google map so we can click and drag and move around it so what we'll do
01:07:04we'll have a
01:07:05look and see what we can do on the edit page which i i doubt you'll have to change this
01:07:10it'll probably say
01:07:11stay the same on the site so uh okay so that's already um so this is the google map module
01:07:20there
01:07:20so that's just um it's already preset in the site settings so you can see it there so you don't
01:07:26need to
01:07:26update that one there but if you do need to um say we'll remove this google map there and say
01:07:33you're
01:07:33working on a completely different page or something like that and you want to add in a google map you
01:07:37can click add module at the very bottom of this so if you want to add in any of the
01:07:41modules above
01:07:42you can you can you can do it here by clicking add module you can see there's google maps here
01:07:47if
01:07:48i click that it's automatically added into the bottom there so if i wanted to let's say we'll go for
01:07:54a two column as well so if i wanted to add in two column here so this is the two
01:07:59column module here
01:08:00it gets added to the bottom of the list there and you can see it's number 10 here and you
01:08:03can see this
01:08:04one's blank now so this is what it would look like if you were adding in one instead of editing
01:08:08one so
01:08:09what we'll do we'll pick out two images and i will go with the kids here and we'll add in
01:08:17another image i'll
01:08:18just do the second one at the same time and we'll go with the polar bear so we'll give it
01:08:24a title we'll
01:08:25call it zoo and maybe just go kids um for this and we'll add in a link so we'll click
01:08:32book now and url
01:08:37um we'll link to the cms training page just throw it in there we'll click add link and what i'll
01:08:44do this
01:08:44time we'll i'll leave this one call to action blank so we can see what it looks like on the
01:08:48site
01:08:50okay so we'll scroll up we'll just hit update so we're after adding in an extra
01:08:54module to that page we'll see how it looks now
01:09:03still yeah so it's saved now we'll reload this page
01:09:14okay so uh we the map got added back in the one we removed and it's after adding in
01:09:19a another two column um module here so you can see it's got kids here and it's got zoo here
01:09:26as well
01:09:26and zoo has a book now so that links to whatever page it's linked to and kids it just has
01:09:32the title
01:09:32only so it works it works without a button as well if you want to use that as well so

01:10:18what i could do i can go to the cms uh page and we can see what it would look
01:10:22like if we added one in
01:10:24so yeah i'm yeah i'm not sure there it's um i've been finalized uh to to work like that but

01:10:33we can see what it looks like um while we're messing on the while we're playing around with the
01:10:37with the um test with the cms test page so i'll add in that there and we'll
01:10:44what we'll do and so that one's added in there so you can click and drag reorder these as well

01:11:17so you can see there it does go in but it probably doesn't look the best um
01:11:25best on the site there guys um so it it it's it is built to go into but it doesn't
01:11:31suit the design
01:11:32so i wouldn't recommend you putting in any of the events into the uh events and offer module there
