00:03okay so we're gonna set up a new offer now for in under the offer that once you
00:09go to the back end you can click on offers here and you can see this is
00:12where all your offers are located so once you have them set up on the booking
00:16engine you just need to set them up on this page here so you can see you have a
00:20list of them here down along all your offers are located here so if you need
00:24to edit any one of them you can find them here so if you're trying to edit
00:29one in future what you can do you can use a search box here or sometimes I find
00:34easier if I'm if I if I'm in Chrome I can click the three dots here just click
00:40find and just type in a little bit and it will take me directly to the offer I'm
00:46looking through some sometimes the Chrome search tool the search tool will help you
00:51find this a bit better than the search box up top so you could use that there to
00:57edit any one of those so we're going to create a new one right now and the way
01:01we're going to do that we're going to clone an existing one so I'm pretty sure if
01:06we just have a look on the site we'll scroll down along to your promotions here
01:09and they should be all fairly similar because they follow the same pattern so
01:14we'll click find out more on midterm breaks it yeah it's going to be the exact
01:20same so we're just going to clone midterm breaks in the back end so we're going to go
01:24to our back to our offers now we're going to go to find our midterm breaks that there's
01:30midterm breaks there and we're going to click a new draft clone is the exact same thing it
01:36just it just makes a copy so we're just going to click new draft for this one hit her wrist
01:43and
01:43you can see now we're in the correct one because it's it's after adding a two to the end of
01:50this so
01:51what I'd recommend is if you're ever cloning or making a new draft of a version just always give
01:59it a new title straight away just in case in the future you come back in and you edit the
02:04wrong one
02:04because they both have the same title but you can tell you can tell it's a the clone version because
02:10it will add a two to the end of it there so I'm going to add an offer now so
02:13I think St. Patrick's Day is
02:16coming up and Valentine's is tomorrow I don't know St. Patrick's Day we'll go with that and we'll edit the
02:23URL now as well
02:25I'll just go lowercase and instead of a space we'll put a little dash in there
02:33alright see little dash there we're going to click OK and you can see that's it there so we can
02:39save it as a draft now if we want again or we can publish it so I'm going to just
02:43publish this straight away
02:48I'll just straight away and we're going to view our offer now as well so we'll open that in a
02:52new tab
02:55should be the exact yeah so it's the exact same it still has the same title midterm break so we're
03:00going to add all that stuff now as well on this page so you can see it's all here it's
03:07the exact
03:07same so you can see I can just click edit offer up here if I want or I can go
03:11back to my tab here I'm
03:13gonna I'm gonna go back to my tab and just leave that one open so we'll scroll down along and
03:19the
03:19first thing we'll come across is the image so basically what you want to do you just want to
03:23replace the information that's in the old one so we want to remove this image we're going to click the
03:30X now we're going to click add image I'm going to choose an image for this so we'll go with
03:37the daisies
03:38there we'll click select the daisies are in there now we're going to give it a title the Patrick say
03:51offer you can put in a price price from you I'll leave it the same the text is here so
04:00you can you
04:00can you can basically just copy the text from the booking engine that from the offer you set up so
04:05right
04:06now it's escape to lock rate and what you can what you also add is a book now as well
04:12so you can just
04:14edit the existing one there by clicking on the pen icon here and clicking the gear now next and it
04:21will open up this box for you so right now that book now goes to this link and this link
04:25is for the
04:26old offer so what you want to do you just want to remove that now and you want to log
04:30into you have your
04:32backend booking engine and get the URL are you familiar enough with getting the URLs from the
04:39backend I'm not nervous we can figure that yeah I'll show you that just at the end of doing this
04:49so
04:49what you do you just paste in your URL so we'll pretend that's a that's a URL to a an
04:57offer there we'll
04:57leave it on book now and we'll click update update so we'll scroll down now again and there is a
05:05call
05:05to action now as well to call find out more so right now it's going to midterm breaks so click
05:13on
05:13that now as well and what you need to do unit you need to get the URL of the landing
05:18page so this is
05:19the landing page we created so it's St. Patrick stay there we're going to copy that and we're going
05:26to bring it back in here now so we're going to paste it so that is the the the landing
05:33page of this so
05:34we click add link and that updates that call to action there now as well so if we scroll down
05:40along
05:40we'll see if there's any other changes so there is a hero slider here so I'm going to click this
05:46pen icon
05:48and you can see it still has it has it's repeating because this hero is used on the landing page
05:54whereas the image we changed up above if I just scroll up this image up here the daisy that's used
06:00on the home page of the of the offers page if we scroll down to the promotions so that image
06:09there is what
06:10uh it represents um sorry the daisies so we you have to change it in two places to match up
06:18um so
06:19we'll scroll back down we'll go down to our builder uh will hero slider so we'll click the red x
06:25hit the
06:26plus and we'll choose the daisies again just to keep it all consistent we'll click save I will scroll down
06:35uh even more uh let me just double check something as well there's tagline options with the hero slider
06:42so you can click this tab here and you can see uh you can you can see there's a tagline
06:49on it so right
06:50now it's set to show tagline sometimes it might not show a tagline and basically what the tagline is
06:55it's this bit here it's midterm breaks here okay uh we'll go back to edit offer we'll scroll down along
07:02and here's the title here we're going to change the same paddy's day
07:08paddy's day and we'll just click save changes uh we'll move on to the next uh bit we have here
07:15so
07:15we have a text image box click on the pen icon so we're just editing the existing um landing page
07:21we're going to go to data and bring my screen over a little bit so right now
07:29that looks a little funny there so you would edit your uh content here uh title is midterm breaks
07:35we'll change that say paddy's day
07:40paddy's it and we'll just hit save here as well uh we'll check this one out so this is probably
07:44the
07:45image so it's a one-half image only go to data there's an image there it's a bedroom so i'll
07:51just
07:52change that just to change up the page we'll choose a random picture here uh we'll go with
08:00that one there the kid there set the image save changes scroll down so that's the end of uh that
08:08there now so where did the second image correspond on the site liam please oh right okay
08:15yeah so so it's this image here on the right hand side on the landing page okay perfect on the
08:20on the landing page yeah is that the hero image as well liam you know when you went into hero

08:25you had large image small image okay that's what you're answering isn't it uh yeah yeah so so the image
08:32i just changed there with the kid it's uh this image here so what we'll do we'll go back to
08:35our offer
08:36um i think i've changed everything now we'll just click update can i ask one question just while
08:41you're in there you see where it says visibility public uh yes so for example yesterday we were
08:49doing our northern ireland landing pages and for some reason i thought if i keep visibility not um
08:56private that it would just be for people do you know what i mean so i presume obviously once you
09:00hit
09:00visibility in public is there a way of doing it where you create a landing page that's specific to
09:06an offer that's also not viewable to the public like a closed view i think um see i i'm not
09:13sure
09:14if that would work yeah it didn't work and i tried private yeah so i think i think if you
09:20contact the
09:21seo team they can maybe add something to the page so it doesn't index yeah so i think i updated
09:28that page
09:28now so we're just gonna view offer now i'll start off in another new task uh we'll click this here
09:36scroll down along so our hero image has changed to the daisy we've updated the title to st paddy's day
09:42um the title here is st paddy's day the text is all along here uh the picture with the kid
09:48has updated
09:49and uh the book now is there and all so we've updated um everything on this page and this is
09:55a brand new
09:55offer now on the in the offers uh in the back end so if i click on offers here go
10:01back to our offers
10:02and we'll just search for it so yeah tri so you can see st patrick's day is there now as
10:10well so if we
10:11just go to our home page that so that offer is now set up and it's ready to be added
10:19to the um
10:20um to the uh promotions here on this page so you can see right now it's midterm break so we
10:26can click
10:27on edit page scroll down along and we'll go to the so there's our hero uh two column content grid
10:43item
10:44so i think it's great item here and you can see um the data source is offers it's set to
10:50midterm breaks
10:51but if i click this drop down now saying it uh patrick's day should be there somewhere for me if
10:56i scroll down through it yeah it's at the very bottom so i can change that there to that selected
11:01offer and i can just click save and update i i won't do it now because i don't want to
11:09put a
11:10offer on the site because somebody could come across it in a few seconds that it would be but
11:14once once i've changed the grid item i've changed the st patrick state save changes click update it will
11:21replace uh the midterm breaks here on the site we want it to be just further and the more offers
11:27then
11:27will you show us that as well uh the uh view all promotion
11:34of you all promotion so if i go to that page now oh okay just edit that page uh we'll
11:40just go here
11:41so uh yeah so all these so there's six in there at the moment so uh say one of these
11:47is outdated you
11:47want to add in a new one so winter warmers that's going to be gone soon enough so you can
11:52just go to
11:52the promotions page click edit edit page
11:57we will scroll down along once the road uh once the page loads and you can see here they all
12:02are
12:02here so it's a grid uh it's the grid item here and uh what would be best if we just
12:09open this in
12:09a new tab we'll we'll look at the page in the new tab we'll try we'll figure out the order
12:14so the
12:14first one is one night dinner best available bed is second and we want to replace the third one there
12:20the the the winter warmers for example we'll go to edit page uh first one second one and this third
12:27one so this one should be uh winter warmers if i click on it there you can see it's winter
12:32warmers
12:33there so i can click this drop down now remove winter warmers and add st patrick's day there click
12:39save changes and that would uh save our changes but uh we'd have to click update to update the whole
12:47page
12:47again what you could do you could remove one of these if you wanted to say you only have five
12:51offers uh you could just remove you can remove uh by hitting the red x and um say then later
12:58on you
12:58have a couple of more offers to add say you have eight and you want to show them on the
13:02promotion page
13:03you can just click this um clone uh icon here and it will clone that one twice so so i'm
13:11after adding in
13:12two more there and all i have to do is hit the pen icon and change it to the new
13:17offers that i want
13:18to add uh to the end of this page yeah halloween breaks save changes so i've i'm after adding in
13:27uh new offers to that page uh just just by hitting the clone icon there you can also
13:34uh yeah so i think that's that there so once you've met all your changes you can just click update
13:38so i
13:39won't actually hit update i'm just going to uh reload the page and put it back to the way we
13:44got it
13:49okay um is there anywhere else on the site guys that the offers show up
13:56is it just the promotions page and the home page they're across the right as well in that top menu
14:02is that something separate um seasonal and no back again liam sorry uh see them across there or the
14:13horizontal city view that uh yeah okay so that's a another module so to adjust to add it to this
14:22you
14:23can just go edit page we'll scroll down along and before the um uh grid item here there's horizontal
14:33sticky nav so that's it there you click edit um it opens it up um so it pulls the existing
14:42promotions
14:45um okay so these look like menus so you can see it's called promotions there uh so so what we
14:53would
14:53do then is uh uh it's existing menu it's pulling from you can set it to manual if you want
14:59to so
15:00i'll just go through that you can set it to manual and you can add in uh each link yourself
15:03by clicking
15:04that plus select url uh putting in the url here and adding the text if you want to book now
15:13or something like that so there's also a manual option but for the sticky uh for the horizontal
15:19sticky nav you can set it to existing menu and you could choose um so so for example i could
15:26change it
15:27to main navigation okay and what that would do to our page uh what what that would do uh so
15:34it with it
15:35set to main navigation it would the horizontal sticky nav would become home shore island spa concept
15:42defense gallery okay um if that kind of makes sense so so so right now it's spa breaks golden
15:49new year seasonal breaks dining breaks so they're a menu item so what i'm going to do we're going to
15:54pop back to appearance here and menus we're going to go to this drop down we're going to click pick
16:03promotions click select
16:07and you see there they are there so it's spam uh spa breaks golden year breaks seasonal breaks and dining
16:13breaks okay and what we're going to do we're going to add in our st patrick's day one so um
16:18we'll look
16:19for that there so i think it might be in under posts or we'll try and find it maybe it's
16:25a page we'll search
16:27for uh patrick
16:31and i don't think it's any of them okay so we'll click this drop down here now again
16:40there's fabrics there
16:45click search we're playing patrick
16:50yeah so i'm having trouble finding that there guys sorry absolutely yeah i'll try
16:57had paddy in it now as well didn't i live bar so i can't find that page i did i
17:04think i saved yeah i
17:05did save it all um so it's in under offers a st patrick's day in the menu here um i'm
17:13not sure why
17:13that's not showing guys um most recent so if you all uh if something like that happens you could i
17:22know it's a bit of a workaround you could use custom links here um so you could go to um
17:28the
17:28st patrick's day tab here you could copy the url come back to your menu put it in here
17:39and put saint
17:45patrick say we click add menu uh it gets added to the bottom of the list there i'm just going
17:50to click save there and we'll just see it add in there quickly we'll go back to our promotions page
17:55we'll refresh
17:59and you can see st patrick's day is added there at the end so i'm going to go back to
18:03my menu
18:04and we're going to remove st patrick's day i'm not sure why it wasn't showing there guys i might
18:09i'll look into it after a call and see if there was something up with it there but um uh
18:14eva work
18:15around there so it basically you can link to any page that you've created there i'm not sure why i
18:19couldn't find it um so that is the promotions guys is there anything anywhere else you want to talk about
18:26offers what i think i think that's um that there so i'll i'll just stop this recording here and uh
