00:05okay so I'm just going to show you I'm I'm going to be setting yourself and
00:10Andrew up with logins after this meeting and you'll be able to log in yourselves
00:14and work away from then on okay to log into the site you'll be using your same
00:21URL that you have the ghotel.ie followed by forward slash WP login or WP admin
00:30is that the same back end as what we currently have no no it's a separate
00:36back end I was wondering because I was plugging away doing changes the other day
00:39and nothing was transferring at all and no no it'll be completely different now
00:44this is a more stripped back version so I hope it will be a lot more clear for you
00:49guys oh my god that's brilliant so when you log in or when you get into that link
00:57you'll be brought to this page the Avio login page and so you'll be adding in
01:02your username or your email address and then your password now if you ever lose
01:06your password or you can't remember it just click into lost your password and
01:10it'll ask you to add in your email address and it'll send you a new password so
01:16that's pretty straightforward so once you are logged in you'll be brought to the
01:21front end of the front end of the site now yeah it looks it's the same site
01:28obviously but at the top of the screen you can see the black bar going across
01:33the screen and it is covering some of the elements of your page so don't worry
01:40about this this is this is standard when you are logged into the back end yeah on
01:45this bar you can see we have the clone button here so if you wanted to clone
01:50this current page you can do so and the overview which I'll show you now in a
01:56second it'll bring you to the back end of the site where you'll be able to edit
01:59everything on the site edit which will edit the current page that we are on so
02:05this would edit the home page because we're on the home page and then it's just
02:09welcoming you it'll have your welcome followed by your name or your user name
02:13here and then log out if you want to log out of the back end of the site sorry what
02:20is the welcome one do welcome test editor it's just it's just a title really it's
02:24not actually a button currently it's just going you that it's saying welcome for me
02:31test editor that's that's okay and then the overview is that just how the viewer
02:36would actually see the page as a point is that just taking you out from when
02:40you're in on the edit version of the page that will I'll just show you
02:44currently if I click into the overview it'll bring me I have it open in a
02:47separate tab here it'll bring me to the back end of the site so if you're on the
02:51front end and you want to get into the back end the general back end you'll be
02:55clicking on the over and if you click edit does it bring you into the exact same as overview
02:59no if you click on edit I'll just click here to show you it'll bring you into
03:03the we're on the home page currently and it'll bring you just straight to the
03:08back end of the home page site ah okay gotcha this is the back end now I'm just
03:16going to go through the overview first just to show you how where things are
03:22and and how to work around the site in the back end so you can see on the left
03:28panel we have the overview which is here in the on the main right side of the
03:35page it contains the navigation and the unlinked pages on the site so in the
03:40navigation you can see the titles are the current menus that we have so we have the
03:46header menu which is the the menu in the hamburger that you see on your site we
03:51have a footer menu and which is on the footer obviously and then a second footer
03:56menu which is it's further right on the footer and then we have the spam menu
04:01which is used on the spa microsite hang on the header sorry the header is the one
04:07like em welcome to the G right header I'm just gonna go back and show you it's
04:13here for the hamburger menu is this is this is basically the header menu but it is
04:21the main menu really on your site and so if you click on to any of those he'll bring
04:27you straight to those menus sorry just to be clear yeah the header is each of
04:35those titles under the hamburger menu it's not yeah okay yes exactly so like we
04:43have home sleep yeah for is and you can see that they're there they're there on
04:48the hamburger menu so you can see anything that is in the menu will be
04:55displayed here on nation in the menus so then they're about us and hotel reviews are they
05:22the secondary navigation items so they fall under home so if I show you here you'll
05:30see them when you hover over home you see the second that I've seen headers in the
05:34back end but I didn't see anything for the subtitles in the back end you just they
05:40just come up automatically when you click on headers all right okay is it yeah can
05:43you just go back a step and just show me you know in the back end when you click on
05:48headers headers and footer so when I click on header it'll scroll me down to the
05:53section where we have the header or the also automatically the sub headers come up
05:57okay yeah so then we have home and then followed by the sub navigation under home
06:02if I click on spam and you it'll bring me down to the mic or the spa microsite
06:07menu and all the navigation items that are in the spa is that okay that's perfect
06:14yep and there will be one then for weddings as well because we'll have a
06:18weddings microsite it's just not added in yeah exactly when the weddings
06:21microsite is set up that can be another menu that will be in line there as well and
06:26you'll be able to edit that there so but it's not like if I want to edit something
06:31in about us is that where I go yes I'll be going through that in a few minutes how
06:36to get into these different pages and to edit them and I'm just going to go
06:41through the general layout of where the pages are so that you can find them
06:47before we go through that is that okay yep perfect so after the navigation we have
06:54the unlinked pages so any page that you have created that you have not displayed
06:59on your hamburger menu or your footer menu they will all display in here and the
07:04unlinked pages so at the moment you can see if we scroll down to the unattached
07:10items we're in pages and these are all the default or regular pages that you would
07:18use on your site so we have a contact forms page there at the moment I've
07:24created some test pages that I will be showing you and later on in this training
07:30call I have a thank you page best rate guarantee so just anything that isn't on
07:36the navigation you'll see displayed in here so we have some room types here as
07:41well these sorry I'm just gonna peel it all the way back how did you get into
07:46this page so we went into unlinked pages up here at the top of the screen yeah
07:52sorry I am but was the headers under navigation is that where you weren't and
07:57so we went I go from the beginning so we went into overview which is on the left
08:02panel there at the top of the screen oh that immediately comes up yeah and then we
08:07were a navigation immediately will come off as you said and if we go into the
08:12unlinked pages up here beside the navigation perfect that will bring us
08:17straight into all those unlinked pages our room types our promotions great stuff
08:22thank you no problem and so the room types we have created these separately
08:28pages they're pretty much the same but it's just for you to differentiate when
08:34you're adding in content or modules or whatever and they'll be in the room type
08:39section so at the moment we have two unlinked or two pages that are not in the
08:47navigation the corner suite and the atrium suite so you'll see them there in
08:52the room types and I've created a sample page there as well that I'll be going
08:57through in a while oh so they come under a speciality suites but they don't need
09:02to yeah there wouldn't be enough room for them individually between two
09:05confusing anyway yeah exactly so they they'll be still on the site but they
09:10just won't be in the navigation navigation perfect so then the last item on
09:16the list is promotions so we have added all of your offers our promotions that
09:22you're using on the site are in this section so they pretty much have the
09:25same page layout as well and I'll be going through that later on and this
09:31call as well perfect so that is the general overview I'm going to show you in
09:39the menus how we add in sorry now just on the promotions there's a different
09:43back end to that correct for the engine for the promotion so the promotions
09:50aren't directly linked through the back end of the site so anything that you add
09:55in the booking engine you will manually add in here and so into the menus this is
10:06where you'll be adding in your navigation that you saw there in the overview so at
10:11the moment I have the up here at the top of the screen I have the spam menu page
10:15open and so you have the ability to select what menu you want to change so
10:21the header as you can see that was the hamburger menu or the primary writing down
10:25as you go along sorry so promotions is under overview and on linked pages
10:30everything's under on linked pages sorry am I going too fast no no no not at all
10:36and no let me know if I am if you want me to slow down or break it down
10:42and then just when I'm when I mean headers like you're showing me where they
10:45are but like I can actually get in and edit the header and the subheaders like I
10:50don't need to do that now around him future but that's where I go to edit them

11:06overview for the navigation so we had home followed by about us and the reviews
