00:32funds and institutional support will be utilized to modernize government hospitals across the state.
00:38Speaking during the launch of the Kaya Kalpam Public Outreach Program in Kori Kod, the minister
00:44clarified that the initiative is aimed solely at strengthening public healthcare infrastructure
00:48and should not be viewed as privatization. Under the program, the government plans to
00:54identify infrastructure gaps, equipment shortages and vacancies in hospitals while mobilizing
01:00additional resources through CSR partnerships. The minister also emphasized the need to improve
01:05facilities at primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals to reduce
01:10pressure on medical colleges. Kerala's healthcare department hopes that increased CSR participation
01:16will help create better healthcare infrastructure and improve patient care across the state.

02:10CSR funded farm ponds to support farmers in Thutukudi. The Thutukudi District Administration in
02:17Tamil Nadu is implementing a CSR-supported initiative to construct farm ponds in rain-fed agricultural
02:23regions including Kovilpatti, Kayathar, Ottapidaram, Vilathi Kulam and Pudur. The project aims to address
02:31water scarcity challenges faced by farmers due to irregular monsoon rainfall. Farm ponds of different sizes are
02:38being developed to collect rainwater, which can later be used during critical crop growth stages such as
02:43germination and flowering. So far, more than 215 farmers have benefited from the initiative. Officials believe the
