00:221.25 crore rupees CSR boost for education and healthcare in Kargil.
00:27REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited or RECPDCL has extended CSR support worth 1.25 crore rupees to the district
00:38administration of Kargil
00:39to strengthen education, healthcare and drinking water infrastructure across the region.
00:44The initiative is expected to benefit nearly 1.95 lakh residents living in remote and underserved areas.
00:51As part of the project, a new 40-seater school bus was flagged off on June 19th, improving transportation access
00:59for students in Kargil's challenging mountainous terrain.
01:02The ceremony was attended by REC Chairman and Managing Director Jitendra Srivastava, RECPDCL CEO Prince Thavan and senior officials from
01:11the Ladakh Administration and the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council.
01:15The move reflects RECPDCL's continued commitment to supporting sustainable development and improving access to essential services in remote communities.

01:26Maharashtra to establish state CSR cell for better utilization of corporate funds.
01:32In another significant development, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed officials to set up a dedicated state CSR cell
01:39for the more effective utilization of corporate social responsibility funds.
01:44The announcement was made during a review meeting on the recommendations of the 6th State Finance Commission.
01:49According to the Chief Minister, Maharashtra receives the highest CSR funding in the country, making it important to create a
01:56structured mechanism for directing these resources toward development projects.
02:00The proposed CSR cell will help identify priority projects and mobilize resources for urban and rural local bodies.
02:07The state government is also exploring interest-free loans for local self-government institutions and plans to strengthen digital systems
02:15for development approvals and monitoring.
02:17The initiative is expected to enhance transparency, improve governance and accelerate development across Maharashtra.

02:31The Department of Public Enterprises has directed Central Public Sector Enterprises or CPSEs to support the PM Dhandhanya Krishi Yojana
02:39through their CSR initiatives during the current and next financial years.
02:43Under the directive, eligible CPSEs will adopt at least one district identified under the scheme and contribute to agricultural development
02:52and livelihood enhancement efforts.
02:54The program aims to transform 100 agricultural districts across the country by improving productivity, promoting crop diversification, strengthening irrigation facilities,
03:05enhancing post-harvest infrastructure and improving access to credit.
03:09The initiative forms part of a broader CSR focus on nutrition, sports development and livelihood generation.
03:16Government data also shows that CSR spending by eligible CPSEs crossed Rs.6,400 crore in FY25.
03:24The move is expected to strengthen rural development efforts while encouraging greater collaboration between public sector enterprises and local communities.
03:33Moving ahead to our next story, Tata Power launches Vidyut Dhara CSR campaign.
03:39The company has launched a new CSR campaign titled Vidyut Dhara, highlighting how energy can create impact beyond powering homes
03:48and businesses.
03:49Introduced through a specially produced film and original title song, the campaign follows the journey of a young protagonist named
03:56Dhara as she discovers stories of transformation across communities.
04:00The campaign showcases several flagship initiatives including the Tata Power Skill Development Institute, Anoka Dhaga Livelihood Programme, Pay Attention Neurodiversity
04:12Initiative and Club Energy Sustainability Education Programme.
04:16According to Tata Power, the campaign reflects its vision of empowering 1 billion lives through sustainable, affordable and innovative energy
04:24solutions.
04:25It also aligns with the company's goal of increasing the share of clean and green energy in its portfolio to
04:3170% by 2030.
04:33Through Vidyut Dhara, Tata Power aims to demonstrate how energy can power not just infrastructure but also opportunities, aspirations and
04:41sustainable futures.
04:42And now presenting today's final story, Finovation Project Spotlight, Need Assessment for Communities in Rehwari, Haryana.
04:49In today's Finovation Project Spotlight, we take a look at a community need assessment conducted for one of India's leading
04:56zipper manufacturers.
04:57The study covered 20 villages in Bawal, located in Haryana's Rehwari District, near the company's manufacturing facility.
05:04Through extensive interactions with residents, women, youth, village representatives and other stakeholders,
05:10Finovation assessed the key socio-economic challenges facing local communities.
05:15The assessment found that household waste management remains a major concern across several villages.
05:21The need for community-level RO drinking water facilities also emerged as a key priority.
05:28In addition, limited healthcare infrastructure and poor connectivity with nearby towns were identified as major barriers to accessing quality healthcare
05:36services.
05:37Based on these findings, Finovation recommended priority CSR interventions aimed at addressing critical community needs and improving overall quality of
05:47life.
05:47The project highlights the importance of evidence-based planning and demonstrates how comprehensive need assessments can help organizations design more
05:55focused, relevant and impactful CSR programs.
