00:27In today's Finovation Project Spotlight, we feature a large-scale socio-economic assessment
00:32conducted for a leading cement company. Finovation partnered with the organization to map the
00:38socio-economic status of communities across 12 districts spanning 9 states. The study examined
00:44key indicators such as education, financial inclusion, agricultural land ownership, water
00:50and sanitation practices, electricity access, gender equality, mobile connectivity, and household
00:56cooking methods. Based on extensive field research and real-time community insights,
01:01Finovation identified critical development gaps and recommended priority intervention areas
01:07to help the donor design targeted and impactful CSR programs.
01:11Moving ahead to our next story,
01:12HUDCO strengthens advanced eye care facilities in Deiradun. Housing and Urban Development Corporation
01:18Ltd or HUDCO has strengthened healthcare infrastructure in Deiradun through its Corporate Social Responsibility
01:24Initiative. HUDCO inaugurated two advanced ophthalmic systems at Vivekanand Netralaya, Ramakrishna Mission
01:32Ashram, including the Alcon Centurion Vision System and the Zeiss Lumera Eye Surgical Microscope.
01:39These advanced technologies will improve the safety, precision and efficiency of cataract and other complex eye surgeries.
01:46The initiative is expected to significantly enhance access to quality and affordable eye care for patients across
01:52Uttarakhand and the Himalayan region, reinforcing the role of CSR in strengthening healthcare delivery systems.
01:59Our next story, Delhi launches Mission Kaya Kalp for government schools.
02:04The Delhi government has launched Mission Kaya Kalp, an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming government schools
02:10into clean, safe, modern and inspiring learning spaces.
02:14The program is being implemented with support from district administrations, the education department,
02:18corporate social responsibility organizations, social groups, market associations and local communities.
02:25Several schools have already witnessed significant upgrades, including renovated science laboratories,
02:30sensory parks for children with special needs, improved sanitation facilities, water purification systems,
02:36library enhancements, plantation drives and even space labs.
02:41The initiative highlights how collaboration between government agencies and CSR partners
02:45can create better educational environments and improve learning outcomes for thousands of students.
02:52And now an inspiring story, CSR funded government school inaugurated in Karnataka.
02:57A new government school building constructed through corporate social responsibility funding
03:01has been inaugurated in Kotyal village of Vijayapura district.
03:05Built with support from Bangalore International Airport Limited, the project was completed at a cost of
03:103.25 crore rupees and features modern classrooms, STEM laboratories, activity-based learning spaces,
03:17upgraded sanitation facilities, a modern kitchen and a spacious dining hall.
03:21The school serves students from classes 1 to 10 and is expected to reduce the need for children
03:26to travel to nearby towns for higher education.
03:29The project demonstrates how CSR investments in educational infrastructure
03:33can create lasting benefits for rural communities
03:36and support the future aspirations of young learners.
03:40And now, presenting today's final story.
03:42BHU establishes dedicated CSR CELL.
03:46In another significant development, Banaras Hindu University has established
03:50a dedicated corporate social responsibility CELL
03:53to strengthen partnerships with industries and corporate organizations.
03:57The newly formed CELL will act as a centralized platform
04:00for corporate engagement and support initiatives
04:02related to research, education, health care, rural development, skill development,
04:07sustainability and innovation.
04:09The university believes the initiative will help bridge the gap between academia and industry
04:13while creating new opportunities for students, researchers and faculty members.
04:17By fostering stronger corporate collaborations,
04:21BHU aims to enhance social impact initiatives
04:24and contribute more effectively to national development goals.
