00:21Our first story, Finovation Project Spotlight, Skill Gap Analysis for Natural Rubber Growers.
00:27In today's Finovation Project Spotlight, we feature a skill gap analysis project conducted
00:33for the natural rubber sector. Finovation partnered with a skill council established
00:37under the National Skill Development Corporation to assess skill requirements among natural rubber
00:43growers across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The study evaluated skill gaps among workers, latex harvest
00:49technicians, supervisors, budders and office assistants working in plantations and nurseries
00:54across multiple districts. The findings enabled the skill council to identify workforce development
01:00needs and design targeted skilling interventions to enhance productivity and employment opportunities
01:06in the rubber sector. Through evidence-based research and workforce assessments, Finovation
01:11continues to support impactful skill development initiatives that contribute to sustainable livelihoods
01:17and economic growth. Moving ahead to our next story, MRPL rejuvenates Nandikeshwar Lake under CSR
01:25initiative. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited or MRPL has successfully rejuvenated the
01:32Nandikeshwar Lake in Kundapur under its CSR program as part of Swachata Pakwada 2026. The restoration project
01:40has improved water conservation, enhanced groundwater recharge and strengthened the local ecosystem. MRPL
01:47has also developed pedestrian walkways and beautified the surrounding area, creating a cleaner and more
01:53attractive public space for residents. The initiative demonstrates how CSR-led environmental projects
02:00can contribute to water security, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and sustainable
02:06community development. Our next story, Telangana continues financial support for UPSC aspirants.
02:13Singareni Collieries Company Limited or SCCL has announced the continuation of its Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya
02:20Hastam scheme under its CSR program. The initiative provides financial assistance of 1 lakh rupees to
02:27candidates who successfully clear the UPSC preliminary examination, helping them prepare for the next stages of the
02:33civil services examination. Since its launch in 2024, the scheme has supported 346 candidates. Several beneficiaries have
02:42successfully advanced to the interview stage, while many have secured positions in the civil services. The program aims to
02:49encourage talented youth from Telangana to pursue careers in public administration and contribute to nation building.
02:56Moving ahead to our next story, SECL's NEAT Coaching Initiative receives government recognition. In another
03:04significant development, Coal India subsidiary, Southeastern Coal Fields Limited or SECL has received formal
03:11recognition for its flagship CSR initiative, SECL K-Sushrut. Launched in 2023, the program provides free
03:19residential NEAT coaching to meritorious students from mining communities. The Ministry of Coal has now
03:26issued a Gazette notification enabling Aadhaar-based authentication for beneficiaries, strengthening
03:32transparency and governance in the program. SECL stated that the recognition will help expand its CSR efforts
03:39in education, healthcare and livelihood development while creating greater opportunities for students for
03:44coal field regions. Moving to our final story, Shree Cement expands CSR initiatives in healthcare and
03:51education. Shree Cement has expanded its CSR activities across the Gunter region with a strong
03:56focus on healthcare, education, rural development and environmental sustainability. During the financial year 2025 to
04:0426, the company organized 47 health camps that benefited more than 10,000 individuals. Eye screening camps were also
04:12conducted across multiple villages, resulting in over 1,100 residents receiving free prescription
04:19spectacles. In education, the company upgraded government school infrastructure, benefiting nearly 1,200 students
