00:04Hello and welcome, I'm Aarohi and you're watching D-Note Express Weekly CSR Bulletin.
00:09Here we bring you India's most impactful CSR initiatives, breakthrough partnerships and
00:13key updates. So let's get started with today's top stories.
00:21Our first story, Mizoram launches CSR portal to connect corporates with development projects.
00:27In a major step toward attracting greater corporate participation in development initiatives,
00:32the government of Mizoram has launched a dedicated digital platform called Mizoram CSR Connect.
00:38The portal was inaugurated by Chief Minister Lal Duhoma and has been developed by the Mizoram
00:43CSR cell in collaboration with UNDP India. The platform aims to connect corporate donors with
00:49credible development projects and implementing agencies across the state through a transparent
00:55and structured system. According to the Chief Minister, Mizoram received only 0.06% of India's
01:02total CSR spending during the financial year 2023-24, highlighting the need for better engagement
01:08with corporate India. The portal is expected to improve transparency, accountability and
01:13measurable social impact while helping companies identify meaningful projects in sectors such as
01:19education, sustainability, women empowerment and community development. The initiative marks a
01:25significant effort to strengthen CSR investments in the state and accelerate inclusive development.
01:31Now let's take a look at our next story. Maharashtra plans new CSR funded heritage conservation body.
01:38In another important development, the Maharashtra government is planning to establish a dedicated
01:42non-profit entity called Mahavarsa to support heritage conservation through CSR funding. The proposed
01:49Section 8 company will mobilize corporate social responsibility contributions and private funding for
01:55the maintenance and preservation of more than 300 state-protected heritage sites, including forts, temples,
02:02caves and historical monuments. Officials believe the initiative will address long-standing funding
02:08challenges related to conservation, maintenance and visitor infrastructure at heritage locations.
02:14The move represents a significant shift toward creating sustainable financing mechanisms for
02:19protecting Maharashtra's rich cultural and historical heritage.
02:23Moving ahead to our next story, Hitachi Energy launches 2,000 crore rupees manufacturing project in
02:29Gujarat. Our next story comes from Gujarat. Hitachi Energy has launched a major 2,000 crore rupees
02:35large power transformer manufacturing facility in Vadodara district in the presence of Gujarat
02:41Chief Minister Bupendra Patel. Alongside the industrial investment, the company also showcased
