00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for us, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:15The second book of Chronicles, chapters 20 and 21.
04:23Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah.
04:25He was 35 years when he became king, and he reigned for 25 years in Jerusalem.
04:33His mother was Aruzba, the daughter of Shili.
04:39He followed in his father Asa's footsteps, being careful to do what the Lord approved.
04:45However, the high prices were not eliminated, and the people were still not entirely devoted to the God of their
04:53ancestors.
04:55The rest of the events of Jehoshaphat's reign, from start to finish, are recorded in the Annals of Jehu, son
05:02of Hanani,
05:05which are included in the Scroll of the Kings of Israel.
05:13Later, King Jehoshaphat of Judah made an alliance with King Ahaziah of Israel, who did evil.
05:22They agreed to make large seagoing merchant ships, and they built the ships at Ezion Jeber.
05:30Eliezer, son of Dodevahum, from Marishah, prophesied against Jehoshaphat.
05:38Because you made an alliance with Ahaziah, the Lord will shatter what you have made.
05:44And the ships were wrecked, being unable to go to sea.
05:51Jehoshaphat passed away and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David.
05:57His son Jehoram replaced him as king.
06:03His brothers, Jehoshaphat's sons, were Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azarecho, Mikael, and Shaphatiah.
06:16All of these were sons of King Jehoshaphat of Israel.
06:21Their father gave them many presents, including silver, gold, and other precious items, along with fortified cities in Judah.
06:30But he gave the kingdom to Jehoram, because he was the firstborn.
06:38Jehoram took control of his father's kingdom and became powerful.
06:43Then he killed all his brothers, as well as some of the officials of Israel.
06:51Jehoram was 32 years old when he became king, and he reigned for eight years in Jerusalem.
07:01He followed in the footsteps of the kings of Israel, just as Ahab's dynasty had done, for he married Ahab's
07:09daughter.
07:11He did evil in the sight of the Lord, but the Lord was unwilling to destroy David's dynasty,
07:17because of the promise he had given to David, a perpetual dynasty.
07:26During Jehoram's reign, Edom freed themselves from Judah's control and set up their own king.
07:33Jehoram crossed over to Zaire with his officers and with all his chariots.
07:40The Edomites, who had surrounded him, attacked at night and defeated him at his chariot officers.
07:47So Edom has remained free from Judah's control to this very day.
07:53At the same time, Libna also rebelled and freed themselves from Judah's control,
07:59because Jehoram rejected the Lord God of his ancestors.
08:04He also built high places on the hills of Judah,
08:08encouraging the residents of Jerusalem to be unfaithful to the Lord,
08:13and led Judah away from the Lord.
08:20Jehoram received this letter from Elijah the prophet.
08:24This is what the Lord God of your ancestor David says.
08:29You have not followed in the footsteps of your father Jehoshaphat and of King Asa of Judah,
08:35but have instead followed in the footsteps of the kings of Israel.
08:40You encouraged the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem to be unfaithful to the Lord,
08:47just as the family of Ahab does in Israel.
08:51You also killed your brothers, members of your own father's family, who were better than you.
08:57So look, the Lord is about to severely afflict your people, your sons, your wives and all you own.
09:05You will get a serious chronic intestinal disease, which will cause your intestine to come out.
09:15The Lord stirred up against Jehoram the Philistines and the Arabs, who lived beside the Cushites.
09:22They attacked Judah and swept through it.
09:25They carried off everything they found in the royal palace, including his sons and wives.
09:32None of his sons were left, except for the youngest, Ahaziah.
09:37After all this had happened, the Lord afflicted him with the incurable intestinal disease.
09:45After approximately two years, his intestines came out because of the disease,
09:50so that he died a very painful death.
09:54The people did not make a bonfire to honour him, as they had done for his ancestors.
10:03Jehoram was 32 years old when he became king, and he reigned for eight years in Jerusalem.
10:10No one regretted his death.
10:13He was buried in the city of David, but not in the royal tombs.
10:20This is the word of the Lord.
10:22Thanks be to God.
10:30The Lord has set me up, and not with my woes to die upon me.
10:43O Lord, my God, I cry now to thee, and now I see in thee.
10:53O Lord, my God, I cry now to thee, and now I see in thee.
11:23For his broken cure, and for the twinkling of an eye,
11:29And in his measure is one.
11:33Happiness may in your whole night,
11:38But joy come and in the void.
11:42And in my prosperity I swear,
11:47I shall never be removed.
11:51But the Lord of all of all the things that bring my hands so strong.
12:00Thou misturned my days from thee,
12:05And I was troubled,
12:09Then cry my love to thee, O Lord,

18:49He goes to silence, which truly is strengthfully and is strifefully speak against the righteous.
19:03For how beautiful is my goodness, which thou hast laid on for them that fear thee,
19:13and that thou hast been there for them that holds them just in pain,
19:21even before the sons of men.
19:27Thou shalt find them freely by light of presence from the throne will be no more.
19:36Thou shalt give them secret, with thy throne will move from a strike of times.
19:45Light me to the Lord, for he has shown me now,
19:52that great kindness in a strong saving.
19:57And where I may reach my strength, I am cast out of the sight of thine eyes.
20:09Where the lips go higher as the voice of thy friend,
20:16when I cry unto thee.
20:20For love, O Lord, all ye saints,
20:26O the Lord, better and better that of faithful,
20:31and better see me in all of the proud whom
20:37His God and nature, let's perish thou out,
20:43For he has shown me in all of the proud whom
20:48For he has shown me in all of the proud whom
20:52He has shown me in all of the proud whom
20:52Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
20:58And to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning,
21:06Is now and ever shining,
21:11From your dead, Amen.
21:28The Gospel according to Saint John, chapter 16.
21:35In a little while, you will see me no longer.
21:39Again, after a little while, you will see me.
21:44Then some of the disciples said to one another,
21:47What is the meaning of what he is saying?
21:50In a little while, you will not see me.
21:53Again, after a little while, you will see me.
21:55And because I am going to the Father.
22:00So they kept on repeating,
22:02What is the meaning of what he says in a little while?
22:05We don't understand what he is talking about.
22:10Jesus could see that they wanted to ask him
22:12About these things, and so he said to them,
22:15Are you asking each other about this?
22:17As I said, In a little while, you will not see me.
22:21But again, after a little while, you will see me.
22:25I tell you the solemn truth.
22:27You will weep and wail,
22:29But the world will rejoice.
22:32You will be sad,
22:34But your sadness will turn into joy.
22:39When a woman is about to give birth,
22:41She has sorrow,
22:42Because her hour has come.
22:45But when she gives birth to the child,
22:48The pain is put out of her mind
22:50By the joy that a man has come into the world.
22:54So you have sorrow now.
22:56But I will see you again,
22:58And your hearts will be glad.
23:01No one will be able to take away your joy.
23:04On that day, you will put no questions to me.
23:08Truly I say to you,
23:10Whatever request you make to the Father,
23:12He will give it to you in my name.
23:17I tell you the solemn truth,
23:19Whatever you ask the Father in my name,
23:21He will give to you.
23:25Until now, you have not asked for anything in my name.
23:29Ask, and you will receive it,
23:31So that your joy may be complete.
23:36I have told you these things in obscure figures of speech.
23:40A time is coming,
23:41When I will no longer speak to you in obscure figures,
23:45But will tell you plainly about the Father.
23:48At that time you will ask in my name,
23:51And I do not say that I will ask the Father,
23:55On your behalf.
23:57For the Father himself loves you,
23:59Because you have loved me,
24:01And have believed that I came from God.
24:05I came from the Father,
24:07And entered into the world.
24:09But in turn I am leaving the world,
24:11And going back to the Father.
24:16The disciples said,
24:17Look, now you are speaking plainly,
24:20And not in obscure figures of speech.
24:23Now we know that you know everything,
24:26And do not need anyone to ask you anything.
24:30Because of this we believe that you have come from God,
24:36Jesus replied,
24:39Do you now believe?
24:41Look, a time is coming,
24:44And has already come,
24:45When you will be scattered,
24:47Each one to his own home,
24:49And I will be left alone.
24:52Yet I am not alone,
24:54Because my Father is with me.
24:57I have told you these things,
24:59So that in me you may have peace.
25:02In the world you have trouble and suffering,
25:05But take courage,
25:08For I have conquered the world.
25:13This is the word of the Lord.
25:16Thanks be to God.
25:23Collect for peace.
25:26O God,
25:27Who is the author of peace,
25:29And lover of concord,
25:31In knowledge of whom stands our eternal life,
25:35Whose service is perfect freedom,
25:37Defend us,
25:38Your humble servants,
25:40In all assaults of our enemies,
25:42That we,
25:43Surely trusting in your defence,
25:46May not fear the power of any adversaries,
25:49Through the might of Jesus Christ,
25:52Our Lord.
25:53Amen.
25:58Collect for our safe preservation.
26:01O Lord, our Heavenly Father,
26:04Almighty and everlasting God,
26:05Who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day,
26:10Defend us in the same with your mighty power,
26:13And grant that this day,
26:14We fall into no sin,
26:17Neither run into any kind of danger,
26:20But that all our doings may be ordered,
26:23By your governance,
26:26To do always that which is righteous in your sight,
26:30Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
26:33Amen.
26:37Lord, let me accept calmly all that this day might bring me,
26:42And let me devote myself completely to your sacred will.
26:48Direct me and help me each hour of this day.
26:52Control my thoughts and feelings in all my deeds and words.
26:57When unpredictable circumstances arise,
27:00Do not let me forget that everything comes from you.
27:06Lord Jesus, Son of God,
27:08It is better not to live,
27:10Than to live without you.
27:13I thank you, God, for the gift of this new day,
27:16And for all the good deeds you will help me do today.
27:22Holy Spirit, help me to dedicate this day,
27:25To my Lord and Saviour.
27:27Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister,
27:32Never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow.
27:36Control my will and teach me to pray,
27:40To believe, to hope, to suffer,
27:43To forgive and to love.
27:47Amen.
27:51We pray for the work of your faithful servants throughout the world, Lord.
27:57Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
28:04May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
28:07The love of God,
28:08And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
28:11Be with us all today,
28:13And forevermore.
28:15Amen.
