00:32You know, I never knew you could cook a chicken in a slow cooker.
00:37Well, I got a recipe.
00:39I'm gonna combine it with a recipe for a roasted chicken I got from Eden Chamberlain.
00:44And come up with chicken in a slow cooker.
00:54First, we'll get some onions and slice them in the rings.

01:05Okay, we'll take those onions we just chopped, lay them into the bottom of the slow cooker.

01:15We'll be laying the chicken on top of it.
01:18We'll also get some celery.
01:23And carrots to put on top of it.
01:26And some carrots as well.
01:29This way there's an aromatic guide of cooking for our chicken.

01:38Now we're gonna stick the chicken in to the slow cooker.
01:43And we're gonna take some rosemary and thyme and shove it up the cavity like that.
01:51Get some nice aromatics into there.

02:05Now to create a spice mixture for the outside of the bird.
02:10We're gonna take some brown sugar.
02:13Put it in the bowl as a little base.
02:17Then we're gonna take some chicken seasoning.

02:32We'll put some ground rosemary.

02:47Get a little salt.
02:49Just a pinch of salt.

03:11And we'll shake this all around and mix it around and put it on top of our bird.

03:21This is gonna be a nice, nice chicken.

03:28We're gonna put a temperature probe in here.

03:52Now we'll put some olive oil on the outside of the breast.

04:28Now it's almost time to put it in and forget it for about five to six hours.
