00:00Now where we are continuing to see impacts from storms over the holiday weekend and even now.
00:05So take a look at this here.
00:06Intense winds in Chagrin Falls, Ohio lifted this tent up into the air and dropped it nearby.
00:13This is pretty nasty stuff.
00:16Dangerous situation there for some.
00:18And we want to take a look at the storms now.
00:20So that was over the weekend.
00:22But here we are this Wednesday evening, half a week later.
00:24And we're looking at a moderate risk area.
00:26Two out of four on the AccuWeather.
00:27Four-tiered, severe threat index.
00:29Nebraska, northeast Colorado, northern Kansas.
00:32And then into the area around Dakota Dunes, Iowa there near the Omaha metro as well.
00:36So flash flooding, damaging wind and hail are all concerns here.
00:40And we'll be dealing with some of these storms that will also deliver some flash flood concerns through tonight.
00:46A little farther north, drenching rain in South Dakota.
00:49And we've had rain off and on over the past few days.
00:51Many of us over a multi-day, two-day window.
00:54One to three inches of rain there in parts of Wisconsin and into Minnesota as well.
00:59Thursday, the risk area for thunderstorms pushes into the heart of the Midwest.
01:03And still another disturbance moving into the western part of the Plains.
01:06So let's take a look at this here.
01:07Future radar and clouds.
01:08There's that risk for flooding here tonight with some drenching rain up into parts of southeast Minnesota, north-central and
01:16central parts of Wisconsin, into parts of Michigan as well.
01:19But the thunderstorm threat's a little bit greater regarding the wind and hail potential down into areas like Omaha.
01:25Thursday, here we are with some storms in the Midwest and the Ohio Valley and another round into the High
01:30Plains.
01:31So these two areas, west and east, are going to be facing some strong thunderstorms on Thursday.
01:36Friday, more action near I-70 there, Illinois, Indiana, into Ohio as we turn quieter to the north.
01:43But it's going to begin to get hot there.
01:44So Thursday, here's the severe risk area.
01:46We have the Missouri Ozarks and also western parts of Kansas, eastern Colorado, with a moderate risk area for damaging
01:54wind and hail.
01:55Isolated tornadoes will be a concern there as well.
01:57So we've got to keep an eye on that.
01:59Looking ahead to Thursday, here we are with the Thursday thunderstorm risk into areas like Colby, Kansas.
02:07Damaging wind and hail will be concerns out this way.
02:10So we have a lot of different concerns before the storms exit.
02:15And then once they do exit, the heat builds and it just turns hot up into the northern plains with
02:19storms lingering into more of the Midwest.
02:21And there you can see Friday, still some severe weather risk there, a little south of where the heat's going
02:26to be especially steamy up into the Dakotas, Kansas, parts of Nebraska, eastern Colorado on Friday.
