00:06Busiest one yet, I think you said, wasn't it? Just thoughts on it all.
00:09Yeah, I mean it was great. I think first of all, there's so much work going on at the ground
00:13right now.
00:13I wanted to take people out to the pitch, first and foremost.
00:16Seven o'clock was still nice and light and it wasn't raining.
00:19And just say, look, this is the last time you're going to look at the football ground and it's going
00:23to look like this.
00:24It's six weeks time when you walk in for our first pre-season friendly, it's going to look different.
00:28So really take it in, enjoy it, and I'm going to talk you through all the different parts of this
00:32kind of change.
00:33And yeah, I think we had about 70 or 80 people here tonight. I think it was really, really good.
00:37The bar was packed when we brought people back in.
00:39Those are great questions.
00:42We've done well in the last three years to kind of get away from any of the negativity
00:45because we've been incredibly successful, but always some good searching questions.
00:50And yeah, it's great to see fans super passionate about what we're doing,
00:53about the long tail of this club and why we're doing it and how long am I going to be
00:57committed to it?
00:58And what we're doing.
01:00And yeah, it's great.
01:01It's great.
01:02And it's great to see so many people care.
01:04And obviously, yeah, I mean, it was all very much mentioned and you were very open about it.
01:08But, you know, with the promotion, the level of investment in the infrastructure you're having to put in,
01:11you know, I think 300,000, isn't it?
01:13And then there's going to be another 500,000 on top.
01:15It's just huge, huge infrastructure, which obviously an infrastructure project.
01:18They're really, you know, meaningful, long term, tangible.
01:21Yeah, there's a huge amount that has to be done here to ready ourselves for a new level of football.
01:26Not just that, but we, you know, we're a growing club.
01:28You know, we've got to over, we've had, I think, four or five over 2,000 games now.
01:37And we quite periodically have over 1,000 people here.
01:41So we have to get better and better at delivering on big crowds.
01:44We also have to add more zones into these areas to make sure that the fan experience is really good
01:50and there's different experiences for partners and sponsors.
01:54But yeah, no, it's going to cost a lot of money, but we're here for the long term.
01:57And when we're trying to do things in a right way, I think lots of people talk about what happens
02:01on the pitch.
02:02I think what's really important is what we've achieved off it as well.
02:04And I'm very proud to say that we're investing in the local area.
02:09I'm a Farnham boy. I love the town.
02:11I've fallen back in love with the town and we moved out when I was 16.
02:15I've been here now for four years.
02:17I live a short drive away by spending my life here at the football club.
02:21I've just bought a house up the road to renovate.
02:25And it's just, it means so much to me.
02:29And I'm really glad that we've been able to deliver on the pitch.
02:32And now it's for me to deliver off it.

02:34I say, yeah, really busy on the pitch, off the pitch already this summer.
02:37It will be sort of the rest of the summer, but you know, a nice sort of milestone tonight for
02:40the fans
02:40to sort of get that knowledge and sort of start that sort of build up into preseason
02:44and what they can look forward to.
02:45Yeah, I hope people leave tonight invigorated and excited about what's happening
02:49and have got some answers to some of their questions.
02:51Maybe some people just came here to listen and take in what's going on
02:54and maybe see parts of the work that have been going on.
02:57But yeah, it was great attendance.
