00:06who came and made it a really good game today, wasn't it?
00:09They did, yeah. It was a different game that we've had down here.
00:12They use all their strengths with a long throw and the ball's into the box.
00:17It was a real scrap.
00:19It must be really pleasing. I mean, obviously every win's great,
00:22but today that felt like a really good one to chalk up that, didn't it?
00:26It did, yeah. I thought, you know, the boys at the back, Ryan and Dan Batis were monsters back there
00:32with what they had to deal with and what was thrown at them from every angle of the pitch from
00:36the throw.
00:37It was a little bit frustrating in the first half.
00:41We just weren't quite out in the final third. We had a couple of good chances,
00:45but in the second half I went in that half-time and I knew we'd come through this one.
00:50We just had too much for them.
00:52The one big chance in the first half really was the Owen Dean header, wasn't it, really?
00:55Yeah.
00:56That was a good one. But then, as you say, second half you sort of stepped on
01:00and sort of steamrolled them really, didn't you, in that second half?
01:02We did, yeah. It was sort of all in there after the last few minutes.
01:05You know, they launched it from every direction and were putting a few more bodies up there,
01:09which you expect. And, yeah, we could have made it a bit more comfortable,
01:13but it made for a good viewing at the end.
01:15Yeah, I mean, obviously you got the third right at the end,
01:17but before that obviously there were chances. You know, you could have got it a bit earlier, couldn't you?
01:22Yeah, it was. I think, you know, Luke's had a great one to put it to bed maybe five minutes
01:26before the end.
01:27But, you know, he stepped up at the end, you know, on a one-on-one,
01:31and a credit to him because he was most really feeling it after the last one.
01:35They sort of, yeah, their long throws, they were sort of bombing them in from everywhere, weren't they?
01:39And their real sort of pace, really flat and difficult to sort of deal with, weren't they?
01:42Something different, yeah.
01:44Yeah, you know, they're a big side. You know, they're a big physical, dirty side,
01:49played to their strength, which, you know, which is quite good.
01:52It's made it a different game down here because it's a good watch, especially for the neutral.
01:56But, yeah, you know, we had big moments, you know, Michael's come and missed one,
02:01but then five seconds later he's pulled off a great save to keep it 2-1,
02:04and we go down the other end and win it 3-1.
02:06Yeah, I mean, that was big because that was at the start of stoppage time, wasn't it?
02:08It was, yeah.
02:09And then, as you say, Leeds, yeah.
02:11Yeah, Leeds obviously went and wrapped it up, didn't they?
02:13Yeah, you know, you felt today, it was a strange feeling today.
02:16You know, you felt there was never going to score in open play.
02:19It was always going to be a set-piece or a long throw.
02:21And we as a team, we as a team that looked like we could score, you know, from open play.
02:26But, yeah, different challenge and one that we enjoyed.
02:30Yeah, as you say, their threat really was the long throw and set plays and balls into the box, wasn't

02:34Sort of open play, not really.
02:36They never really looked like doing anything, did they?
02:38No, you know, pretty comfortable on the pitch, yeah.
02:41It's just, you know, where we give away throws and limit them to that sort of launching in the box.
02:46And, yeah, I thought we'd done it pretty well.
02:48Obviously, you're the most informed team in the league, but they came into this as the second most informed.
02:52So, obviously, you kind of knew, you know, it was a good challenge, wasn't it?
02:56And, you know, obviously, more than deservedly kept your form going.
03:01Yeah, you know, it's a difficult part of the season now.
03:04The table sort of forms itself and everyone's fighting for something pretty much.
03:09There's no one that's dead in this league.
03:11They're either fighting to stay up or they're trying to push for the playoffs.
03:14And, yeah, that informed, you know, they were down there scrapping.
03:17They brought players in.
03:18And when you're scrapping down there, you put in performances like they did today.
03:22And, you know, they tried to do what they had to do, but fell short.
03:24Yeah, as you say, you know, you're in those playoffs.
03:26There's a lot of teams still going for it.
03:28And a lot of teams, let's say, in a relegation battle.
03:30So, no one's really, I mean, no sort of dead games really, are there at the moment?
03:33No dead games just yet.
03:34So, yeah, every game now, you know, it's just a battle.
03:37And, you know, we call it winning season.
03:39And you've just got to win games of football at this stage.
03:42I'd say in that second half, you obviously did step it up.
03:45I mean, what did you sort of say at half-time?
03:46I'd say you were sort of in control, but you just needed that final bit really, didn't you?
03:50Yeah, just seeing the picture a little bit, the way they play.
03:53We knew how they'd start with the wing-backs.
03:55And, you know, they dragged everyone across the pitch.
03:57Could we just work it and touch it out to the opposite side and get down the outside?
04:02And just to stay calm, you know, stay in control of what we're doing.
04:05Don't panic.
04:06And, you know, once we get the first, the second and the third will follow.
04:09And I was confident that had happened.
04:10Yeah, Brandon got quite a lot of joy down the left in that second half, didn't he?
04:14Yeah, getting balls in, didn't he?
04:15Yeah, we worked it well.
04:17You know, we'd come down the right-hand side.
04:18And then, you know, it was one pass into a holding refielder.
04:21And then we was out the other way.
04:23And the boys took it on.
04:24And, yeah, we looked good.

04:27Getting up at the back post and nodding home to get the equaliser.
04:30Yeah, fair play.
04:31I think he gave no credit to the referee today.
04:33You know, it's a real physical game.
04:35He let a lot go both ways.
04:37I think on another day, maybe, I haven't seen it back, but maybe a majority of the refs disallow that.
04:44Because there's contact in the box.
04:46But he let that one go.
04:47And, yeah, it was a great goal for the skipper.
04:50Yeah, the refs sort of let the game flow, didn't he?
04:53Well, he wasn't sort of pulling it up and stopping it.
04:55No, he was having none of it.
04:56There was, you know, so many naughty little things going on out there.
04:59But he just let them get on with it.
05:00And I think that made it more of a spectacle as well.
05:03I mean, the second Brandon gets down the left and cuts it back.
05:06And Sam Evans, he keeps his good form going.
05:08He's hit a purple patch now, hasn't he?
05:10He has, yeah.
05:11You know, he keeps saying to the boys, you know, don't get across that fun base.
05:15Because you limit the chance of scoring.
05:17And he managed to hold his ground.
05:18And, yeah, Brandon's done really well.
05:21You know, he's missed a couple of assaults on him down that side.
05:24I think the flying elbow was one of them.
05:27And, yeah, he's cut it back and Sam's tucked it away.
05:29And then, you know, subs always ask the subs to do their job.
05:31Lids comes off the bench and, as I say, wraps it up.
05:33Obviously, Bobby Joe picks him out.
05:35And he's just a nice, easy finish to wrap it up on there.
05:37It was, yeah.
05:38You know, and cooked as well.
05:39You know, come on, cut nice touches, cut nice through balls.
05:42You know, you can see the picture straight away.
05:44And, yeah, you know, they played their part.
05:46And they continue to play their part, the subs.
05:47Yeah, the squad is obviously in a real good place at the moment.
05:50So, six successive wins.
05:51All you can do is keep doing what you're doing, really, at the moment, can't you?
05:54Yeah, the boys, yes, you've got to keep believing it.
05:55And, you know, like I said to them before, we're used to winning and winning things.
06:00And this is where we want to be, competing at the top.
06:03We feel no pressure.
06:04We just enjoy the moment and, yeah, see where it takes us.
