00:17They've had a great season along with us, two promoted sides, and they've pushed us all the way.
00:22You obviously know what Berkhamster are all about, and they obviously need to come and give you a real game,
00:27and you were obviously up to it, but it was a proper play-off game, that, wasn't it?
00:31It was, yeah. I thought the first half, we really dominated, and they sort of sat off us.
00:37They were sort of waiting for us to come at them, and I thought we were good.
00:42We just didn't play that killer ball enough tonight in the first half.
00:46We missed too many opportunities to maybe kill the game off.
00:49But, yeah, credit to them, second half. They came at us, and we sort of ran out of ideas,
00:53but the squad never gives up, and there's another big moment in there.
00:57Yeah, I mean, you were really quick out of the traps from the first whistle,
01:00those sort of first five, ten minutes. You had a number of chances there.

01:13But the keeper's just kicked it at the back of Rhys, hit him on the back.
01:17But strange decisions. He made some really strange decisions all night.
01:20The penalties, both penalties. We were both mad at him.

01:29But hopefully he didn't ruin it, because he evened it out, didn't he?

01:55As you say, you know, third minute, Rhys Murphy, the clearance just hits him and he taps it in.

02:08Yeah, so pretty dominant in that first half, but obviously, really important to get that goal right at the end

02:14And obviously, Owen Dean, he's had some special moments over the years and a really nice finish in front of
02:18the clock end there on half time.
02:19Yeah, it was a good goal. Worked it well with the flick over to Bob.
02:23Then he's turned and got himself in the box.
02:27Yeah, I spoke to him before, you know, he's had a bit of a tough time, not been quiet in
02:30the races.
02:32But I said to him before the game, you know, there's big moments in you.
02:35You've always produced and there's one for you tonight.
02:37And he's taken it to both of our hands.
02:39Yeah, I mean, a playoff semi-final is a big game and it's going to be big moments.
02:42And he clearly has absolutely stepped up there, hasn't he?
02:45Yeah, massively. You know, he's a young lad. He's not played this level of football.
02:49And he's hitting it. He's flying in it.
02:51Half time, he obviously must have been pretty happy.
02:53You know, the dominant team in the first half and 1-0 up.
02:55And then obviously, you know, Berkhamster did improve in that second half, didn't they?
02:59Yeah, yeah, happy. You know, I thought with what we got, there's another goal in us.
03:03And they're going to have to, you know, score a couple or three to win the game.
03:06And I thought we looked pretty comfortable for it.
03:10I thought it was more all Berkham, but we looked pretty comfortable and sort of waiting to hit them on
03:14the counter-attack before a dubious decision.
03:17I mean, yeah, you've come on to my next question already.
03:19I mean, it looked incredibly soft, didn't it?
03:21I mean, I didn't really see much in it at all.
03:23Just two players, just sort of challenging, nothing in it?
03:26Yeah, they run alongside. They sort of tangled arms and their players a bit stronger and sort of pulled Brandon
03:30around and he fell on the back of him.
03:32But the ball's gone out of play. Yeah, real bad decision and it almost cost us.
03:38Yeah, and in such a big game like this, a playoff semi-final, you know, and that's going to hurt.
03:42But the players obviously managed to put that disappointment aside, park it and obviously go again because that can hurt,
03:48can't it, those decisions?
03:49Yeah, it can do. Yeah, it could have folded. But yeah, you know, this group never say die.
03:54And yeah, we've gone down the other end and again, you know, it's a real soft penalty that we've got.
03:59It took a long time to give it.
04:01But it was one of them, I think, where they were breaking, he had the decision to make and he's
04:06had to give it and it's a penalty.
04:09Yeah, you know, we're not complaining now, but I weren't happy with him before.
04:13Yeah, I mean, it was a soft penalty, but after he's given the one down the other end, he almost,
04:17it's almost, not he's meant to be leaving it out, but, you know, it's kind of in a way he's
04:21made two top runs.
04:22Yeah, he's got the goal and yeah, that penalty decision is the only thing that's not your night with him.
04:26But yeah, I think just because they broke, I think if it all went anywhere else on the pitch, it
04:30mostly just played on.
04:32Daz has obviously taken a lot of penalties.
04:34It went in, you know, it's a big penalty, a big pressure and he's delivered, isn't he, off the bench.
04:39Yeah, it's a real tough decision tonight, you know, who to pick and what formation to go with.
04:44And, you know, Daz is my tally man, the one I'll go to, but I thought he'd have a big
04:48impact off the bench tonight and he proved me right.
04:51And yeah, if there's one person you want to take in those moments, it's him.
04:54Yeah, obviously, you know, another really sort of big night for the club, really, you know, massive crowd, you know.
04:59So, obviously, you know, it sets up a mouth-working night on Monday.
05:02Obviously, we don't know yet Gloucester and Paul in extra time, but it's going to be another special night tonight
05:06and we'll see a special day on Monday.
05:08Yeah, we enjoyed tonight.
05:09Yeah, we dusted ourselves down, recovered well, you know, look to train over the weekend at some time.
05:14And I'll get ready for whoever it may be.
05:16Two good sides, you know, most probably the table don't lie.
05:21They are the best sides in the league.
05:22And the games that we've had, the doubles over them, have been four cracking games.
05:26And hopefully there's a fifth cracking game and we're on the right end of it.
05:29Yeah, I mean, yeah, the final, you know, as you say, two great games against Gloucester and Paul.
05:33So, it's all set up, really, isn't it?
05:35It's set up for a great occasion.
05:36And, yeah, we're 90 minutes away or 95 minutes away from making more history.
05:41And, you know, these boys are going to give everything and what will be will be.
