00:07I thought it was a real dogged performance, especially in certain patches.
00:12First half, I thought we were lucky we weren't at it.
00:17We took the lead on a breakthrough goal.
00:19Could have been a couple down.
00:21But we managed to get into half-time and regroup and tweak a few things.
00:25I thought the boys were excellent in the second half.
00:27First half, you looked a threat a few times, but Horsham were very much a threat, weren't they?
00:32But in the second half, you really nullified them.
00:34Mike didn't have much to do in the second half, apart from one block and the corner at the end.
00:41We were waiting for a moment where we could wrap the game up in the second half.

00:46I think Daz is at the post and they've gone down the other end across the goal.
00:51Barring that, they didn't really trouble us to too much extent.

01:09I think he's done well in patches, but we said to him today that we took him out last week.
01:14And it's sometimes good to see it from a different angle.
01:17And he's coming today and we backed him, give him as much belief as we can.

01:24And the second goal was at that sort of camp, you know, rapid breakaway.
01:27He looked so threatening there.
01:28Bob, perfect way to pass for him, wasn't he?
01:30He didn't really have to think about the finish, did he?
01:31No, I think, you know, getting the first one, his confidence grew back and it started flooding.
01:36And, yeah, he broke.
01:37And as soon as he got it, you know, his first thought was going for goal.
01:40And that's what we wanted and he's put it away.
01:42And I'm lucky not to come right back and check it out.

01:45He's sort of gone through and hit the reverse.
01:47It's a great save.

01:49Maybe, you know, defenders coming across, maybe he could have touched it and had a go of his left.

01:57Hopefully, I'm guessing it's just a bit of a minor one.

02:21And then, obviously, Sam's dropped back into centre-back.

02:24But, obviously, yeah, you are sort of having to juggle it, aren't you?
02:27Yeah, we're having to, you know, shift all around the pitch ready.
02:29Obviously, Brandon, missing Brandon as well.
02:31And Kaya's out on loan, but he's injured.
02:33He's got injured out on loan.
02:35And Dan Bayless' injury, you know, I don't think we've ever really moaned about injury.
02:39At least, like most other interviews you see on the internet about injuries,
02:43we've sort of got on with it.
02:44But, yeah, this one and another one at the back is a bit of a concern.
02:48Yeah, I mean, coming up to the level, you know, a lot of full-time clubs this year.
02:50And you never want injuries at any time, do you?
02:53But they've all sort of happened, haven't they?
02:55Yeah, yeah.
02:56You know, we've had real bad injuries, you know, all through season.
02:59But we just got on with it and gone about our business.
03:01But, yeah, this one's sort of the icing on the cake with injuries.
03:04It's a big blow.
03:05A positive on injury front, Matt McKenzie coming back, back off the bench,
03:09getting his first minutes of the season, obviously, after his surgery in the summer.
03:12Yeah, great to see him back.
03:14You know, he's had his surgery and he's been ultra-professional
03:17and been at every session doing his bits.
03:20And to get him back on the pitch is a massive plus.
03:22And even when he came on, he sort of showed his worth.
03:24You know, one of the sort of tackles and interceptions he made there.
03:27What he does there, you know, reading the game.
03:28That sort of showed there.
03:29Yeah, breaking up.
03:29Yeah, it was a perfect situation for him to come on to.
03:32You know, sort of backs against the wall.
03:34Defending him to getting out, closing the ball, working the ball.
03:37It had done him good and hopefully he had confidence as well.
03:39I'd say that second half, he really sort of closed it out really well.
03:42The best chance was probably when the keeper went up at the end of the corner, wasn't it?
03:44It was, yeah.
03:46You know, it was four minutes injury time, right over the four minutes injury time.
03:49It's one of them where, for some reason, they seem to play till they've had a chance.
03:53And, yeah, he's had two chances and he's been cleared off the line twice.
03:56And one of them, I think, you know, that bit of luck we've deserved over the last month of football.
04:01I think we've been excellent, maybe barring today.
04:04So, yeah, we've got our rewards.
04:06Yeah, and that obviously makes it, you know, six points now and sort of, you know,
04:08gets things up and running.
04:10And so you maybe deserve more in some other games, but sort of, yeah,
04:12nice sort of solid base now from that, yeah.
04:15Yeah, definitely, you know, one that we can go into now Monday
04:18with another win under our belts, a bit of confidence,
04:21and really take it to go like toolkit and see what they've got.
04:24Yeah, quick turnaround.
04:25I guess, you know, count the bodies again and look forward to a real good game.

04:29Obviously, we've got a shift around the back,
04:31but everywhere else is really healthy and we've got real good options in there.
04:35So, yeah, I think it's going to be about us tacking on Monday.
