00:00We're here in Starbridge and it's the first day for Sugarloaf. Hello. Hello. You are Miss Sugarloaf.
00:06What's your name? My name's Charlie. So Charlie, it's day one for you here in this new site isn't
00:12it? You're not a stranger to the town. Fill us in on what's been going on with the business. So I
00:16first started in Victoria Passage and I have now acquired this huge unit behind me. From what you
00:22can see is only the ground floor but we've got two further floors upstairs and a bakery as well
00:27and we'll be using that for event space and I'll be able to cater and bake for all different
00:34companies and events as well. So you've got spaces that people can book for parties and
00:39all that kind of stuff? Yeah, so we've got workshops, we're doing birthday parties here. So there
00:44are plenty of different events that are going to happen as well. So how does it compare to
00:49the amount of space you had in the previous site? So the previous site we had about 300
00:53square feet and this unit is 3,000 square feet. That's insane. Very daunting task, you
00:59know. Yeah, I have a lot of sleepless nights working very very hard trying to get this place
01:03open and I'm really passionate about Stourbridge and trying to bring something really unique
01:07as well to the town. So you do your own baking then? Yes, bake everything myself. Wow.
01:12The only thing I don't do is pastry and bread. But we've got petercoats who are to find us with
01:18our little coin-winning bread and pastry as well. So if I was going to come in and sample something,
01:25what would you particularly recommend on the menu? Drink and a little treat. So I am all for chai,
01:32I love a bit of spice, so a dirty chai latte for me but I have chocolate on the top of mine, not cinnamon,
01:37so it's a lot of a bit different but I always like it like that. And then to eat, well, scones. So I bake all the scones fresh but the savory scones are my absolute favourite.
01:45So the cheese and chive scones with a hint of chilli that I make are fabulous with the cheese and onion chappies.
01:51It's fabulous, fabulous. Fantastic. Well if the food's half as good as it looks in there,
01:57I mean it looks fantastic, then Stourbridge turns on to a winner. Good looking business. Thank you.
